Elvis was one of a kind and the most gorgeous man that’s ever lived BUT I couldn’t have dated or married him, I would never be able to be with a man that every woman on earth wanted a piece of. Good lord, that’s just begging for problems. He had every temptation in the world thrown at him 24/7 from women to drugs and power. It couldn’t have been easy, it’s amazing that he even made it to 42 in a lot of ways. He was literally the first huge rockstar with that kind of fame so he had no one to look up to. In his day, he was at the very top of the food chain so to speak. Today stars have plenty of examples of huge stars that came before them to learn from, unfortunately for Elvis he had no one really to confide in who understood the craziness of his everyday life, fame and pressures. His legacy lives on in his recordings , films and grandchildren. Sadly, Lisa Marie has passed too (his only child) so she’s now united with her son and father. He’s greatly missed and will never be forgotten. #RIPElvisPresley #KingOfRockNRoll 👑

Elvis felt he needed to trade up, according to some of the different books I've read. One of his faults, and I think he regretted it, but he paid for it.

Oh, no - he was more than a regular mortal … he was God to so many women. You can’t compare that status in life to some homey and anxious clerk. Choosing a man like Elvis was choosing a hard number to follow, but our hearts often don’t agree with reason. In that abyss lies the magic!!!
I just heard that at the time Anita was dating Elvis, and when he went to Germany as a GI, Anima was dating some crooner! Cilla was dating Elvis bodyguard while living at graceland, and Linda was dating David Briggs, Elvis pianoplayerfor over 3 yrs of 4+yrs with Elvis!
Elvis felt he needed to trade up, according to some
of the different books I've read. One of his faults, and
I think he regretted it, but he paid for it.
He didn't trade up.
@@abc-wv4inSi lo hizo😊
#Elvis was a player and Errrbody knew it! I still love him🥰✨👑✨💙
Why you think he married Priscilla
Agree
@@triciasweettooth741Because he was forced to marry her by her parents and the Colonel 😂
This was great. Anita was awesome. Beauriful lady. I admit I laughed my a$$ off listening to their phone conversation. I thought it was hilarious 🤣🤣🤣. The part where he says: "aww hell" hahahahahahaaaa, that made me laugh so hard. She was reprehending him like a mother to her little boy, and he's being all good but annoyed Hahahahahahaaa. It was cute. 😂❤❤❤
Elvis or not I wouldn't let any man push me against the wall like that
No.. I wouldn't either... though I like Anita I think she was best for Elvis and feel they really loved each other.... but in all reality.... she was very spunky and remember she had found priscillas letter begging Elvis.. so pretty sure Anita was outraged.... that being said.. she's also not going to tell every detail.... sure they had confrontation over this letter and priscilla.... whose to say she didn't come at him in anger and he just grabbed her and pushed her to stop her.... only her and Elvis knows.... he has never physically put his hands on a woman or hurt them in that way or there would be more of those Accusations out there.. everyone else has talked and said kind loving words about him.... so....
Beautiful women!!RIP Anita!💐🙏
She is gorgeous! She loved Elvis
It's true : Elvis was the best-looking man of all the times !!! He was so handsome, no woman could resist to his charms, his felinity, his way to smiling to speaking, his kindness too !!! He had such a protective and gentlemanly way of approaching a woman, that you were immediatly electrified ! Really a wonderful man.... We miss him so, now ! I too have never met such a fascinating man before or after him.
I feel she made the right decision..
Yes, Elvis' loss, sadly.
Was that phone conversation between Elvis & Anita real?
Anita was so lucky to meet elvis what a dream come true ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So beautiful
After lovin her, hecould never settle with another she had her own chrissma, and was not materialisted 10:48
Her own what? Learn to spell before you post, at least.
He was an incredible person with so much talent. I know he was not a perfect person- but who is. It's very sad the way Tom Parker and other members of his "team" took advantage of him😢
He would have been better off with Anita
Wow Bitter Sweet💯Never forget💙 Who wouldnt have dated him...😊
You are truly correct it is a bittersweet story!
I am so happy that I got to hear Miss Anita Wood talking about Elvis! I always wondered why I had never heard anything personal about her! She sounded so wounded on that telephone call! Such a sad situation that they fell into! Wish things would have turned out differently for them. Thank You so much for this video! I sure appreciated it! ⚡️TCB⚡️❤
Read the book by her daughter and her. It's very good.
Just listening to Elvis during that conversation you can tell that he was basically behaving like a teenager. Had Anita married him he would have ended up being unfaithful. He wasn't emotionally grown or mature (accountable) enough to be in any sincere relationship. You can't be good at everything.
Loved Anita.
Anita was the most beautiful woman that he had and the smartest too.
Per the phone conversation , to me, it sounds like was under a lot of pressure from Priscilla for elvis to call her father to get elvis to have Priscilla come up to Graceland.. I am sorry that Anita gave up and elvis let her go.
Beaulieu led him to believe she was a virgin. He would never have been interested in her had he known that.
Hindsight is 20 20.. Too bad they never connected!! RRM
The only good thing that came out of his marrige to pricilla was lisa marie
Sure sounds funny.
The old phone call that is.
That wasn’t Elvis.
I loved the way he said " He hoped he wasn't making a mistake in letting her go". Mr Arrogant there....HE had no choice she was going. Sadly for Elvis she made the right decision.
Stop it lady he wasn’t being arrogant and he didn’t want to marry Anita because he knew that’s what she wanted
Elvis did wrong
The Recorded Phone call, A girl having a conversation with a boy lol, we have all been there lol :)
If gladys had lived she would of never allowed elvis to go out with pricilla she would of said pricilla was to young and elvis would of listend to his mom
Nope - sorry, wrong, no woman could have changed elvis, and no woman with any grit or self-worth would have put up with his philandering ways.
VERDADE
Oh, no - he was more than a regular mortal … he was God to so many women. You can’t compare that status in life to some homey and anxious clerk. Choosing a man like Elvis was choosing a hard number to follow, but our hearts often don’t agree with reason. In that abyss lies the magic!!!
Anita he should of married you and had a family like his mom wanted him to do things would of been diffrent
Dear man chose poorly
I just heard that at the time Anita was dating Elvis, and when he went to Germany as a GI, Anima was dating some crooner! Cilla was dating Elvis bodyguard while living at graceland, and Linda was dating David Briggs, Elvis pianoplayerfor over 3 yrs of 4+yrs with Elvis! But Elvis kept them around, pretending he never knew what everyone already knew! Elvis❤
And see .. everyone wants to blame Elvis.... he really just didn't want to be alone.... I think he knew more of others doing behind his back.... he just kept it to himself.. like he kept his inherited health illnesses to himself he didn't share everything with everyone....
The privilege of arguing with her great love Elvis Presley. She was jealous who wouldn’t be. 😊
😂 If she didnt care she wouldn't fuss. 😂
She acted like he wanted her and it was her wanting him.
Love Anita!
I think that Elvis’ prayer wasn’t heard because he made the wrong decision and screwed up.
Wink Martindale is still going strong at 90.
I’ve read her book so so sad 😢but beautifuly written 😊
So Sorry for Anita 😪🙏❤
But it was Elvis chose for another love 💎💃🏼🕺💫🌈✌
No Anita made THE CHOICE - To Leave --- Did you not listen to what she said ?
Ol Elvis was quit the titbut. He he Couldnt tell the truth if the truth suited him better.
He thoroughly enjoyed that argument on the phone. That was love to him. That's what his mama and daddy showed him - arguing is love.
Stunning!!!!
I cant belive elvis left anita wood for pricilla he must of needed his head looking at she was better than pricilla gladys and vernon loved anita gladys wanted elvis to marry anita and have a family so she could have some grandchildren but it never happend
A beautiful lady and the real woman for Elvis ! Sad how he chose right !
I think date young girl because would have husband and kids for drama I think that why he like young girls he was interest in sex they wouldn't know nothing so they would turn him down think
That phone call didn’t sound anything like Elvis.
It sounded exactly like Elvis. Even down to the stuttering.
Everyone keeps saying Elvis made a mistake by not marrying anita. But Lisa Marie would not have been born nor would her children be here. Im sure none of you would like it if everyone said your father should’ve married a different woman instead of your mother. If Elvis truly wanted anita, he would’ve stayed with her & not have had to make a choice . But he wanted someone pure & not someone who was already sleeping around with other guys. People can be so judgemental but Im so happy he had Lisa Marie & his grandchildren.
You need to read Child Bride by Suzanne Finstad. The pure one was Anita, not Beaulieu.
Prissy was not pure it was all about the money and still is
Mary, you and I are on the same page. I recommend that book to all Elvis fans.@@Mary-bk2wj
