Same!! lol She got the idea from hanging out with the girl band Bananarama. The girls would get so trashed and fall out ass fist. Jennifer Sauders found it so funny, she used it in ab fab 😅
It will remain as a show that really great , irreverent, avant-garde, without worrying about what people might think. This show will continue to make entire generations laugh 🤣🤣

@@philbecker4676Many fans thought the same. I personally thought it was HILARIOUS from start to finish, but I can understand why some fans thought Jennifer Saunders should've stopped writing more episodes/series/specials after the last shout.

Does anyone know why the rest of the Absolutely Fabulous videos are unavailable to watch?
I was just about to say that as well. Whenever I fly back to the UK and Ireland, it says "This uploader is not available in your country", and goes the same thing on Mrs. Brown's Boys as well. I fly lots of times, that's because my friends are original from Ireland and they're live in Boston. I think there's a reason for it, but I don't have the answer for it, so I don't know.

When I was in my teens, seeing them drunk all the time looked really cool, now I'm in my 30s and am actually health conscious it makes me cringe 🤣
@@philbecker4676 Yeah. Not everything lasts forever. Our perspectives on societal norms change and interfere with old good-time fun.
For example, I find it hard to stomach watching people smoking casually in films unless it's a black & white classic and you can pretend it isn't really happening because they're all long dead now.
The major number of old sitcoms that I cringe over are to do with casual racism. Not where they are frankly dealing with the topic itself mind - I mean where it's just casually inserted for a laugh.

@Jake-Amir Blumenfeldwitz Following your OWN logic there, if you "always thought it was sad" then you never appreciated it as comedy. I outgrew it by life experiences and because the world we live in has changed too and my ability to laugh at certain imagery has shriveled up under the harsh knowledge of real experiences I have come to witness around our world.
Another comedy classic example (from American TV) might be The Honeymooners. It was well before my time but I saw some of them in old reruns and had a bit of a giggle. More decades later, the whole idea of a husband loudly threatening even mock physical violence upon his spouse isn't a subject I will indulge in for comedic purposes. I DID laugh in my younger more innocent days at them for the pretend comic book battles though. That former laughter is no longer there.
If you still can't tell the difference then I can explain no further so good luck.
