@@davidcarver3142 And yet you are HERE in THIS combox, listening to THIS video message from God's prophet and commenting HERE to one of Christ's disciples.....deaf?....uh, YEAH!
@@philipfarnam6013 When Jesus Christ walked the face of the earth, He said, 'To hear, see, receive and believe He Himself was to hear, see, receive and believe in the Father who sent Him. Similarly, to hear, see, receive and believe the ones He Himself sent (the Apostles) was to hear, see, receive and believe not only the Son of God, but the Father as well. In like fashion, to hear, see, receive and believe the ones the Apostles sent (the bishops, priests, and deacons, as well as the prophets, evangelists and teachers of the Church) is to have heard, seen, received and believed not merely the Apostles, but also Jesus Christ, and the Father. It must seem fashionable briallian to react with hyperbole and derision, but it certainly isn't "Bright". "Hear voices"? Uh.....yeah....they are called the New Testament Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and their authentic interpreters.
Another example of fine preaching. Bishop Barron nourishes the listener, inspires the listener with his sense of belief, and then provides sustenance for the week ahead. I think he is excellent.
Bishop Baron, you have a beautiful simple way of explaining the faith. This segment really touched my heart and helped me understand what I need to do. Thank you so much. GOD Bless You!
Being opened to hearing can do amazing things. I remember when I wasn’t sleeping well, and decided to go to church before the early mass. I was sitting, listening to morning liturgy of the hours. The words were so beautiful, inviting, and welcoming of the new day. I didn’t forget those beautiful hymns and psalms. They would call me back as I made an effort to go and listen more. I finally purchased my own Christian prayer book, and I’m learning morning and evening prayers now. The words don’t rest with me as they did when I just sat and listened (I’m busy flipping pages), but at least I’m no longer wishing I knew how to pray those beautiful prayers.
Protestant-ish video title + Bishop Barron's amazing insight = maximum clicks. And those clicks were all worth it. The good Bishop was totally on point calling out the "I do me and you do you" mentality that is constantly foisted upon us by everything from our non-Catholic friends to our favorite media. Having and respecting other people's freedom is not bad, but it is certainly not good enough for God. Sadly, my "crowd" is pretty much indoctrinated in that mentality, so I'll have to work on that. PS: The Jesus-plug analogy really fits well with the concept of the Eucharist. It just works!
The use of the Holy Trinity explained in healing this man was a personal awakening for me. I’ve heard the passage many times before and your explanation added great richness to it. Many thanks

Christ took him aside from the multitude, v. 33. Ordinarily, he wrought his miracles publicly before all the people, to show that they would bear the strictest scrutiny and inspection; but this he did privately, to show that he did not seek his own glory, and to teach us to avoid every thing that savours of ostentation.
This is true! I have to let me stay away from all the crowds! Really focus on Him with my presence in front of Eucharist , emptying my mind listening the voice of Jesus with all my heart and soul! Thank you Jesus and Bishop Barron!
I've come to thoroughly enjoy the "deeper meanings" Bishop Barron draws out from the Gospel - so many acute observations which would otherwise be missed if not explored so intentionally and conscientiously. Thank you Bishop Barron for proclaiming "Ephphatha!" to our unhearing ears!

We are all Gods Children. 🙏🏼🕊❤️🤲🏼
Every homily is nourishing 🙏 God bless you 🙏 I just foud amazing the description of today's secular world as the Decapolis. Brilliant. ❤

Thank you Bishop Barron, a must HEAR for me 🕊✝️🙏
I have listened to Jesus or the Church among eight years and the final conclusion is that we cannot set anything against His plan.
Thank you, Bishop Barron, for allowing your voice be the Voice of Jesus, calling us back to the Father, to Himself, and to the Holy Spirit.. May I hear Him, and Listen, and Follow, ang Obey. Amen Amen Amen
I love the trinity - the groaning of the Holy Spirit! Beautiful!!! ✝️🙏🏻
Well said! I’m publishing a weekly UA-cam video on episodes from the life of Don Bosco, entitled ST JOHN BOSCO by JOE ZAMMIT. In this series I’m narrating events and miracles from the splendid life of Don Bosco. St John Bosco used to perform a miracle almost every day, through the intercession of Mary Help of Christians. From the lives of saints we can learn how to love God more and draw closer to him. Thank you.
Bishop Barron, you are a gifted speaker and preacher. May God bless you. 🙏
Thank you Bishop as usual excellent. Jesus have changed my life through you. Thanks again.
Yes, we are tuned to a lot of voices, materialism, but not the voice of God. Thanks Bishop
Thnak you Bishop Barron! God bless you and your ministry! My prayer!
Beautiful sermon ❤. Thank you Bishop Barron. Every one of your sermons touches me deeply ❤.
I have. For some time now. Struggling, straying but can't give up. Please pray for me.
I want to hear him so badly. I pray every day for him to talk to me so clearly that I know it is him . I don't know why I can't hear him. I know he is with me, I know he loves me. But I need him to talk to me and show me what I need to do. I am so lost, and I don't know the direction going forward.
True Bishop, we live in a very chaotic and distracting world filled with "news", "updates", and "alternatives" that we become deaf to the Word of God. Thank God, Jesus is our Divine Healer and He keeps on calling us tirelessly.
Not true, I've NEVER experienced any "calling" or message or contact of any kind.
An inivisble deity calls to you? You hear voices, do you?
@@philipfarnam6013 well, you’re obviously incredibly smart, so why don’t you hang out with the other smart people?
Beautiful sermon.
Another example of fine preaching. Bishop Barron nourishes the listener, inspires the listener with his sense of belief, and then provides sustenance for the week ahead. I think he is excellent.
Thank you so much! As always helping me to see new things in The Lord’s words and actions!!
Bishop Baron, you have a beautiful simple way of explaining the faith. This segment really touched my heart and helped me understand what I need to do. Thank you so much. GOD Bless You!
Jesus, Mary & Joseph, I love you. Save souls.
This is utterly brilliant. Even better than the usual brilliance. Thank you for your work; believe me, it is appreciated and effective.
Thank you Bishop Barron. You give me strength and direction to obtain Eternalhappiness
I finally
purchased my own Christian prayer book, and I’m learning morning and evening prayers now. The words don’t rest with me as they did when I just sat and listened (I’m busy flipping pages), but at least I’m no longer wishing I knew how to pray those beautiful prayers.
Oh Lord Jesus, let me always hear your voice and speak your words with joy.
As always crystal clear, simple, yet profound and inspiring.
Thank You, Bishop Barron
Many thanks
Please consider actually reading the Bible and YOU will finally realize that you do have much more to understand from God Himself!
@@karinecarde1254 did you mean to insult me as part of your reaching out?
@Thy word is light if you didn’t insult people you might have more than 277 followers. Ask your mother about your approach. She should be able to set you straight.
what a wonderful video and deep analysis of the poor state of the materialistic wealthy West .... and through to the way to know what is going on so we can overcome and have true love of God.
Love how he brings scripture to life. I need it.
God Bless you all I love you and have a bless full night
Glory be to God, thank you
Good morning Bishop Barron god bless us ✝️🙏🕊️
POWERFUL WORDS !!! Praise God!! Thank you!
A wonderful sermon again! All of us have become deaf to the Lord’s word, and my prayer is that we open our ears and spread the word of our God ever so slowly so that the “deaf” may hear. Thank you Bishop Barron for another wonderful sermon.
Absolutely fantastic. Exciting,powerful,
Anointed!!Greetings from Co.Leitrim.
Wow. I really liked this.
I'm a protestan from indonesia✝️🇮🇩🇮🇩
This is true! I have to let me stay away from all the crowds! Really focus on Him with my presence in front of Eucharist , emptying my mind listening the voice of Jesus with all my heart and soul! Thank you Jesus and Bishop Barron!
I've come to thoroughly enjoy the "deeper meanings" Bishop Barron draws out from the Gospel - so many acute observations which would otherwise be missed if not explored so intentionally and conscientiously. Thank you Bishop Barron for proclaiming "Ephphatha!" to our unhearing ears!
I am Always Positive about the Word of God. Peace Be With You and the Pope. Catholic Strong.
God bless you, too, Bishop Barron.
Thank you Bishop Barron. Thank God for you. Praying for our families our Church and our world 🙏🏴🌍🙏🙏Jesus we trust in you. ❤
