@@niakouille He is not talking about spending to sport. He is talking about spending to Mouratoglou tennis :) There is huge difference. If you can take a tennis lesson from somewhere for let's say $50, it is $200 in Mouratoglou. Numbers are not correct but there is a huge difference. If they can afford this and dare to afford this, they are absoloutely rich trust me :D
@@hazardursun I agree with you, they sure are rich to be able to spend so much time and money to play tennis. But I also think they are all fond of tennis and I appreciate them sharing with us Moratoglou's advices (I suppose they have accepted to be exposed here)
Hi Patrick, I started to play tennis in HK at age of 13, for 18 years of well play & I became a tennis coach in Calgary, Canada in 1973 to 1978, but nobody taught me the best proper way to serve until tonight I watch your video lesson on the best way to teach--HOW to Serve the best proper way!! I wish I met you when I was 13. Today I am already 70 years old!! I am not playing tennis any more!! I can still teach the kids how to play!! Your training skill is the best!!! THANK YOU!!
I recently became a tennis instructor(the first qualification of a long series, but I'm 20, I'll do all the courses) and for me is so important to keep updated and to open our mind on more lessons and tips, because to become a great tennis coach is not enough to do a pair of courses but we need to study everyday for all our work life; this doesn't have to do a sacrifice for us but a pleasure because if we have choose this work it means that we love it. We are not simple employees,
I don't even want to know how much money I will have to pay to have these kind of informations... Patrick this is the most charitable thing seen in the world of tennis...THAAANNNNKKKK YOUUUUUUUUUU
Thank you Mr. Mouratoglou. Until I can afford to travel and take lessons at your academy, these video lessons help a lot. You explain things easy to understand and it just makes sense compared to most other instructors.
A highly instructive video and I especially liked one Huge Teaching Point that came out of this near the end -- the slice serve is created NOT by changing your body orientation or swing mechanics per se, but by doing everything that is involved when hitting a Flat serve up the TEE but. . . . . . . . changing the degree of forearm pronation from "totally flat" to a few degrees less than that so that the racket imparts slice at contact. By the way, this coach sounds exactly like Borat (Sacha Baron Cohen) when he exults, "Yes. . . . ". Very enjoyable video from start to finish. This young pupil could not possibly weigh more than 95 pounds dripping wet, but he KILLS the ball. I am envious.
Thank you Patrick for sharing this serve lesson!! I am very greatful since I have been playing tennis since I was 17 and I still dont have a correct serve motion, which dont allow me to perform well in a tennis match, altought I have a very good two handed backhand and an interesting forehand . I would appreciate If you upload more content like this, and eternally greatful Patrick. You know very goof that inidvidual tennis classes are not afordable for everyone, so again, thanks a lot. This student Sebastian is in great shape! How is he doing now? Goodbye 😁
I've had a number of coaches over the years and none employ the same combination of communication and techniques/drills. I really admire the way you coach.
U make it simple and apply the laws of science/physics. I work with my granddaughter and everything I have told her u teach in videos and she says u r easy to understand. Thank u so much😊
Patrick good morning! Yesterday, I was watching this video to try improve my service. After, I had been playing tennis with a friend. The result was wonderful to slice and flat service. Thank you so much for teaching us your tricks! 👏👏👏👏
Thank you SO much for posting these videos Mr. Mouratoglou. For those of us who, for financial and/or other reasons, can't train with you in person, your videos are absolute jewels! One day, when I have the money and opportunity, I would love to train at your camp for at least two weeks straight--and were I able, much longer. I have no doubt my game would improve immensely. Thanks again!!
i'm spending hours on court trying to embrace the right serving tecnique, but watching videos like this makes me realise it's quite hard and less productive without a good coach. Nice work here from Mouratoglu.
Never too late to learn from Patrick‘s technique videos, awesome helped me with dominant eye, as I never knew it that I have a dominant cross-eye. It helped even so enormously in Golf swings 😎😎😎. Extremely easy methods shown in this video how to serve with kick and slice!!! Thank u so much to share all these valuable information
Playing for 40 years, I never knew this left/right dominant eye thing ! Thanks to Patrick, knowing if you’re left or right dominant improved my serve, forehand and backhand. Amazing. I’m right dominant!
@@vagsiaf If you watch Nadal’s service motion and ground strokes, he tracks the ball with his left eye since he’s left eye dominant. Federer is right eye dominate, notice how he tracks the ball with his right eye. Watch Federer when he hits his forehand, his right eye is always focused on the ball throughout the swing. Watch Nadal’s serve motion, his left eye is always focused on the ball throughout the service motion. He never stops his head. Neither does Federer.
I am so so great full for these videos you upload. You’re attention to detail Patrick is insane. You have all the qualities as a coach you are unreal 💪!! Thank you for sharing the knowledge you know. You have help my tennis game improve so thank you!
The attention to detail is crazy, even studying which of the student's eyes is the dominant one. He's downloading all the information he can to refine his students.
Probably the greatest serve training technique and skills I have ever seen. This way of training is absolutely spot on to groom and make players ready be ready for today's game , to understand the mechanisms of the serve and to have fun playing with his beautiful sport called tennis..Fantastic Patrick!
I love all your tips Patrick thank you so much. And try to practice everything. It helps me to change I play 33 years and now is everything changed . You are a very good teacher. I only play doubles in groups🙏
If there are some coach like you in Thailand, Thai people will have the better tennis more than now. After Paradorn Srichaphan had retired. We have no more tennis players who reach the top 10 in ATP and many people are not interested in tennis anymore, so sadly. So for a slice or flat aero you face forward and for the kick serve you have your shoulders pointed to the target. Did I get that straight from two different of your training videos
This is something I would have never thought of. He’s mentioned the eye dominance being a key factor in how you should stand/position yourself to serve. I have a vivid memory of serving rockets on the ad side but I couldn’t pinpoint why. I know now it was because I was turned more to allow my right-eye (dominant) to face my target.
