Troy said in his Rig Rundown video that Josh had a very specific setup through Songs For The Deaf, I'd imagine he still has everything and remembers how it went
@@twthathug Boss SD-1 set as a clean boost, Stone Deaf FX PDF-2 to boost & shape the mids for an almost cocked wah sound, and a Fulltone Ultimate Octave and you’re already in the ballpark.
Was at the melbourne show on this tour. They also played Sefl titled in full. Some songs which i may never see live again! And then at soundwave the next day. Was so awesome! Wish they filmed this instead from the melbourne show. But was smaller and more intimate venue than Enmore. Cant believe cunts here are just standing during regular John! One of their heaviest songs live!
Joey is way underrated, so even and powerful, disciplined team player! holy crap they have got some sick moves what with the backing vocals and all. give the mule what he wants and if only are sooooo tight
Powerful? Sort of. Disciplined? No. That's why he's gone. As heavy as Joey hits, Dave takes him to the woodshed. And he's always had problems with speeding up, counting himself in, etc.
@@Ready2FreakingPlow I don't see him speeding up here tho 🤔, besides that it's already been confirmed that the whole band would play the songs faster under Josh's direction. And nahhh, Dave is like 0.8 Joey's Jules lol
@@Ready2FreakingPlowJoey's gone because he wasn't feeling the new music by the time Clockwork was being written. He was part of their best touring lineup and could have stayed as long as he wanted
Hate how the crowd is just standing there videoing the badassness. Like live a little people. This shit is awesome and your missing the fucking moment!?!?!?!?!
crowd is a bit dead. No. A lot. Don't know why they're there. Take an example of "If only", and compare it to the same song live at Ljubljana. You can see how the crowd evolves these days. It's sad.
Carl O Ween I actually thought the same thing. They normally play Regular John slightly differently with an altered vocal melody, plus a massive quiet brake in the middle where Josh and Troy duel it out with volume swells. But at this show, everything just felt ripped off the album
I checked the original recording and this version is quite similar to it. Joey used to rush this song too much previously, but now seems to be more on tempo. In general he was much tighter on this tour and in 2010.
I love how Troy just walks away at the end of his solo during If Only. Like "Yea I rock....whatever" Awesome solo!
I guess he was preparing to "walk on the sidewalks"
Sorry
and returns with a beverage , gotta love TVL
It’s amazing how well troy can emulate josh and i mean that in a good way, those two were meant to be man
holy shit they nailed the tone of the first album after all these years
Troy said in his Rig Rundown video that Josh had a very specific setup through Songs For The Deaf, I'd imagine he still has everything and remembers how it went
It's probably just scooped mids and a big muff lol
lol that's the opposite of this sound
Shagggggers

The best QOTSA album ever. This live rendition is Amazing.
As it was recorded, it's their worst. But these live versions make it their best for sure. I like the 90's stoner vibe of these songs.
Love it! Just the band playing so tightly and some lights! Nothing to distract from them and the music
damn....can QOTSA be any more bad ass than they already are!!! Why yes..yes they can..this video proves it!!!
set list is awesom!

Saw them on this tour, 5 days before turning 30! Such an awesome way to spend my birthday week!
Troy is really rocking it on Make it wit chu!
I always feel inspired to drink when I hear these tunes. Its just a good time.
(accidentally) took a shit load of E's before this gig. It was like flying in a dimly lit rock fueled deafening space ship for 2 glorious hours
Yeah sure, it was "accidentall". Whatever you say.
@@Ichigo7DS i only meant to take a few but we lost count in the pub beforehand, shit can happen.
@@Ichigo7DS Shut the fuck up man Jesus, dudes sharing his story, no need to say that, sounds rad if anything

Fkn sick dude. I salute you sir.
Thank you!! I have been scouring youtube for footage of the re-issue tour!
Saw this tour live in Philly. Was so good. Self titled is my fave 🤘
Jeez they sound so good.

I love you, Josh Homme ❤
pure rock and roll
They’re best album
yay avon :D
Walkin' on the sidewalks ending was f*ckin awesome!!!
Good Memories :')
Love love Josh 💕 amazing show
This should have ended with you can't quit me baby X(
They played it at the end of Hand Model. This is only the broadcast so it's not the whole show.
ikr real shame its one of my fave albums wanted to hear it all!
walking on the sidewalks is just a fucking good song
Oh i just love them
Wish they'd play more stuff from the first album.
Ah, I always like Mark's version of Walking on SIdewalks.
oh hell yeah
You gotta admit this version still goes hard tho
@@threedog14 I agree!!!
If Only.....
Super tight! Holy sacred fuck!!
I forgot for cool 10+ years this was filmed. Can see my big 18 year old head in front of Troy a lot haha
12:46 Ahhhhhh those triplets 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Damn flawless, but too short =(.
wheres' the rest of Self Titled? Not that I'm ungrateful for this but where is The Bronze & Mexicola? :whimper
well they played mule which is rare
I like the old drummer more than the newer one, the old one got character!
ohhhhhhfuckyeah.
Joe
The thumbnail made me think this was from the sweater song music video
13:45 yo why are Dean's legs like that
why not the whole concert? :/
The venue is called Enmore Theatre, not Elmore.
Should've had Alfredo for this gig...
¿No tocaron el disco completo?
E cadê o resto das músicas do primeirão? :( You can't quit me baby é tão phoda e acho-a tão comercial (se esta fora a intenção deste show).
goddamn do i miss joey.
Theodore is great and all but you know… he seems tamed in qotsa.
wtf do u want the crowd to do?it`s a seated auditorium
General Admission is standing. They can remove the lower seats for gigs like this.
What's wrong with this crowd?
Can't blame them. They are absorbed, tripping...
qotsa..... they allways put on great gig on.......Wats wrong with the crowd man...
full show? where?
It's not the same vibe without the Ovation GP.
I love qotsa, but they sound a little dead, too right, too much like the recording.
Alexander Ramone umm no.

I actually love them more when they sound like the record, anyway just personal preferences
Maybe they wanted to sound like the recording because it’s their self titled anniversary
Warning T-shirt pleasure variety other jaw precise clean hay greatly.
I think Joey really fucked up Give The Mule What He Wants.
Gera G. That snare goes ba....ba....ba....nothing....ba.....ba....ba....nothing. He ruins the momentum.

this qotsa isnt qotsa. still good.
?
Not that he isn’t good but Joey is my least favorite queens drummer
