Great content Deep. Just got my first DDJ-400 and loving it. This video has helped me tremendously. The sample buttons were one of the first things I wanted to learn. I can mix music and hit "Play" ALL DAY/NIGHT. It's what you do in between the mixing that gets the crowds.
He's killing it. I'm a beginner and just started learning DJing - his tutorial videos helps me a lot. He's one of my favourite indian DJ. Teaching is skill, not everyone can get it!

Great Tutorial Deep !! I've been using Native instruments/Traktor for years and recently changed to a Rekordbox & Pioneer setup. Your vids are detailed yet easy to follow and I learn something new every time, even though I've been dj'ing for a while. #Respect and thank you!
Good and easy to follow tutorial! Indeed hardly uses the sampler function on the DDJ-400 and Rekordbox DJ. So I remapped the sampler on deck 2 to control FX2 in multi-mode instead to add reverb, delay and trans and releaseFX to the music which I uses way more often for transitions and build-up.

thankyou so much for this video because it shows me its possible to take a loop and put it onto the sample pad, but now where my issue is...i dont have rekordbox, i have djuced and virtual dj and it doesnt quite work the same and i cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it with those 2 programs. But i wont give up! i keep coming back to this video in hopes ill figure it out.

Hey man, just want to let you know how incredibly helpful this is for me, it really means a lot!
Is there a way to grab a stemmed sample? E.g cutting out drums and instruments just for the vocals and using the vocals as a sample? When I try to stem, I still seem to get instruments and drums at the same time.

Hi, thank you for this very helpful and useful tip. I have a DDJ400 and have only activated the stems track separation on my Rekordbox software, not on the controller. I have a short question. I turned off the drums and instrumentals on one song and then isolated a short vocal part (4 beats). I then cut this part out with blue scissors and dragged it onto a sampler slot. If I play this sample now, it will be played with drums and instrumentals. What am I doing wrong? Where is the error???

Brilliantly explained really appreciate it as I’m new to rekordbox, I’m having a problem with the crossfaders I seem not to be able to use them where when playing two decks and I move it left or right I can still hear both songs at the same time I think it’s an audio issue to where I can’t seem to figure out the settings can u help me out please if u have time thanks in advance

I loaded a sample with 150BPM, activated quantize and beatsync.
If I then use a track with 160BPM, the sample is not synchronized with the track.
What could be the reason?
