I found this design of the Xiaomi 13 so... engaging, it enchants me in a unique way, and it seems that this admiration is even greater because the photos in general taken when Leica is involved have such a pleasant color preset to my taste. These are those rare cases where the previous version looks cooler than the next one rsrs
I still hate how they downgraded the main lens in 14 pro.. I hope the 1" makes a return with 15 pro but I'll hold on to this phone for the upcoming 5-6 years because I absolutely love the aesthetic,it's like no other phone
@@RAILGUNSHOOT I couldn't understand if you have a 13 pro or a 14 pro, I think a 13, anyway, even with some improvement on the 15, your device will continue to be an equally good cell phone, these camera evolutions are very subtle as the brands consolidate, the same for processors, there's no reason to keep changing with each launch, and to be honest, having a beautiful phone is so pleasant, at least I feel even more motivated to take photos with it
Xiaomi knew how to create a truly premium design, it is elegant and scalaphobetic. Having the kit only improves your inner feeling for the device and your desire to use it. Enjoy dude
@@ThroughJermainesLens I have the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and I feel that the 13 Pro offered me better photos on the main sensor. I liked the Authentic mode better on the 13 Pro.
Same, but mostly like the less sharpening! The Xiaomi 14 Ultra can capture AMAZING!!!! shots, but the concistancy and the more sharpening can destroy a look for me :(

Hey it's me again, i commented on your video before about how the only thing keeping me from getting the 13 pro was fhe selfie cam. But hey i am going to get it anyway, I've fallen in love with that 1 inch sensor and the telephoto man. I also love it more than the Xiaomi 14, just like you said in your comparison, the sharpening just don't sit right with me, i very much prefer the 13 pro's natural approach. First week was meh, but once the battery settled in this thing is awesome, and the cameras are a total upgrade over 13t, Telephoto is great,I can zoom at far and still get some readable results (30x),main camera is awesome it takes lots of lights in which makes photos look brighter and detailer thanks to the 1inch sensor,Ultrawide is nice as well but I don't use it. Recording 4k60 Dolby with this phone is great too, overall camera wise it's a solid phone even for 2024. CPU is still really fast,and can emulate like all the consoles android can if you're into it Xiaomi eu custom hyperos rom is great,been using that since I got the phone Screen is less bright than my 13t,but still gets bright enough in sunlight but that's like the only tiny downgrade,LTPO is an upgrade for the battery life though For the price I paid it for (13t trade in + 70€),this phone IS an absolute steal. Got the ceramic Black 12/256 CN variant. No missing bands for me.@@Dr.K-vp6fc
Also beware, the phone is really slippery without a case, but it looks really pretty, probably one of the best looking phones I've ever owned so far,I like it more than the 13 ultra as this phone looks more "elegant"? Less "bulky"? can you get the 14 pro there? And for the X100 Pro, it depends a bit, do you like brighter shots with better dynamic range? then go for Vivo :) if you like more natural but more cinematic shots, then go for Xiaomi

@@Sr.Loco420 mmm ok so i cannot judge the macro on either because i have used pro for both, I can say if you prefer a more dramatic natural look Xiaomi, if you prefer brighter Vivo. And I would say sharpness is probably comparable. For video I would say both comparable, but probably a bit brighter and saturated on the vivo, and based on the x100 ultra vs 14 ultra, probably easier and closer macro with the vivo

I think you can reduce the sharpness the phone applies by creating a custom photographic style in pro mode and reducing the texture. Not sure if that is actually sharpness though
better cpu 13 pro. if you get 256GB of memory on the 13 pro, faster memory Camera wise, Main camera similar. But the 12s Ultra has a periscope that is pretty large, larger then the telephoto, same for ultra wide. mmmmmm This is a hard one.... I wish I used it so I could tell from my own experience :(

I have the regular 12s and my buddy has the 12s ultra. As it's the 1st generation of Leica collaboration, it's not that great. Don't get me wrong, they're good cameras but photos are rather unrealistic and feel like someone put a bunch of filters to make them look professional. But Xiaomi finally got the right idea with Leica in Xiaomi 13 pro and damn it really shines.
I have a question, I have a xiaomi 13 pro and when I change from 1x to 3.2x or vice versa, the main sensor moves a little and you can hear it quietly, is that normal
@@ThroughJermainesLens If that's the point, then yes, but in all other respects the ultra is better. (Native 23mm, better quality 2.6x zoom, 5x zoom camera, better display, bigger battery, I think it looks better, but that's subjective)

I haven’t used the vivo x80 pro but the x70 pro plus was a beast when it comes to still photography and that gimbal stabilization

The 14 ultra had a POOR start, very poor, but it has improved a lot, look at my latest video about it, it's mucchhhh better now and more consistent

No I never experienced that.
Sadly the ultrawide is way worse then from the Mi 11 Ultra. Especially in video. Thats why I kept the Mi 11 Ultra.
