Shipping costs are paid for by the buyer. 3. Steel prices fluctuate in the futures market however they do a good job at keeping hikes to a minimum,. Only thing I would recommend is if you already have land in SOUTH FLORIDA then it could be worth it. All Steel modular really brings to the equation is time. They can have a unit done in a matter of months if you have land. If not , it will take over a year considering they now have orders from real home builders. crazy how fast they have grown.

They are building similar hurricane/ typhoon resistant prefab home in SE Asia. The Philippines is one such nation. As a matter of fact exteriors look similar to these American built homes. Like in Florida Asia has termites to deal with as well. Costs are less than conventional builds too. In PI homes come to build site via flat bed then assembled on site. Package options include prewired for electric, cable, internet. Other options AC, water heater, kitchen, and bathroom styles.
Nice for hurricanes but what about the water hurricanes create because its one level will the door and windor be durable enuff also to block out water?
Be careful. There is at least one Florida steel frame houses company that is being sued for taking deposits and not building any houses. Hopefully not the one you mentioned.
Hi Kerry, I enjoy your channel. I will be putting up a cottage this year & am wondering if you have any prefab, modular builders that you recommend in Ontario. Thanks very much.
Can we be informed about such homes that would be economically shipped to Yavapai County, Arizona? The biggest hurdle is distance from factory to building site

Haha glad you’re enjoying the videos! I will try to get a list together 🙌🏼
I saw this company before. I think they are out of Miami. And I think they are doing double stack duplexes in the Allapattah Brownsville area where there are some lots for sale that actually have models of these buildings shown in renderings.
The homes go up to 2400 ft.² actually. They even have two with a garage
This would be good for wildfire areas as well out west.
For sure!
Thanks. I wonder if fire proof is possible. All of southern california would benefit.
For sure!
you crack me up! lol
love your channel too.
Thank you 😀
Hi! I’m VERY interested in a small home (not tiny home) against hurricanes in Florida. It’s been hard to find companies for small home in FL. I would love to know the prices. I live in Cape Coral FL, and I’m even willing to go to the factory to see them. Thank you very much for your constant info.
Thanks Kerry.
Thanks for watching
They are building similar hurricane/ typhoon resistant prefab home in SE Asia. The Philippines is one such nation. As a matter of fact exteriors look similar to these American built homes. Like in Florida Asia has termites to deal with as well. Costs are less than conventional builds too. In PI homes come to build site via flat bed then assembled on site. Package options include prewired for electric, cable, internet. Other options AC, water heater, kitchen, and bathroom styles.
Interesting, do you have a name of one of them? Would like to check it out
Love the "home hack" idea 💡 😀
Yeah!
Kerry, you always give the prices at the end. Please tell us.
This is my favorite so far but how much do they cost?
I like the Lilly!
Glad to hear it
Come on Steel homes modular give us pricing ideas... Miami/Dade county price ranges and transportation/install rates for upstate Florida too!!!

Thanks for watching Laurie 🙌🏼
Nice for hurricanes but what about the water hurricanes create because its one level will the door and windor be durable enuff also to block out water?
Be careful. There is at least one Florida steel frame houses company that is being sued for taking deposits and not building any houses. Hopefully not the one you mentioned.
Interesting, will check it out thanks
Probably “SteelX Homes.” They we’re listing a lot, but never actually building.
Keep me updated on those prices
I've been talking about this for a few years now just didn't have the money and don't have the money to do it also expandable homes
It’s a cool idea!
thanks for the post -
You're welcome!
Heavy snow, yes sireebob.
Thanks for watching Jenny!
Wowza!
thanks for watching 🙌🏼
Hi Kerry, I enjoy your channel. I will be putting up a cottage this year & am wondering if you have any prefab, modular builders that you recommend in Ontario. Thanks very much.
Check out Metaligna Modular
Where do you do your surveys? I'd like to participate next time!
It’s in the community section of my channel
Can we be informed about such homes that would be economically shipped to Yavapai County, Arizona? The biggest hurdle is distance from factory to building site
Yeah thats a long trek for these ones. Check out Zennihome, they’re in page. There are also some cavco factories in and around Phoenix
great idea
Glad you think so!
Currently only available in Florida
Delivery outside of Florida please?
Is there home insurance companies that will cover these prefab homes?
i have a 1976 single wide in davie , fl. a community where you own the land, no rent. been wondering what i would do if it ever blew away. the orchid would be my choice plus it would fit. thanks much
Thanks for watching Ronald
Prices on 2 bedroom and duplex?
These are great, but the Best Hurricane Resistant houses are the ones manufactured by Deltec! And they’re located in NC, central to the East Coast.
Thanks Connie, will check them out
Deltec is pretty expensive.
Deltec is pretty expensive.
@@barbarathawley6298, pay me now or pay me 100 times more later… after ur house has blown down!
Boxabl is claiming their homes just as resistant against the same things, and strong against fires, hurricanes and water damage as well. There smallest home is $60,000. It's basically indestructible.
Love the steel frame. Any idea what the walls, floors, ceilings and roof are made of?
hi all made in galvanized steel
@@alfredorodriguez4954 Wow! That's phenomenal. Not just wind resistant then; fires limited to furnishings and greatly reduced flood aftermath issues. No termite issues. Definitely moving into the top 5 immediately.
How does the humidity affect the steel over time
Even this Floridian believes these could work. Ian could not disagree
Glad to hear
I just learnt about them today and apparently their customer service isn't good. Wondering how much do they cost?
I’m working directly with them and so are my neighbors and that service is beyond incredible. Before judging try calling them directly and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Best of luck.
@@sunshineyellow-mo2on Excuse me, but you literally created your account to reply me this?
Don't tell me that this is the only time you needed to comment to someone else in UA-cam.
I wasn't too hesitant first, but a new account created just to reply this is #1 thing that scam companies do.
Now I'm even more hesitant and judging this company. Thanks for confirming my hesitations
Did you ever get the pricing info from these guys?
Hi I watch your channel and find your content extremely helpful. Could you tell me if any companies provide homes if ordered to Cyprus 🇨🇾 ? Thank you
