New Custom BMX Bike Build

- Every once in a while I rebuild most of my BMX bike. It has been about a year since my last major bicycle build. So it was time for a new one! Make sure you subscribe!
The past few months I had already replaced my forks, bars and hubs. Now it was time to change the frame, tires, sprocket, chain, headset and bottom bracket.

Dope colorway👍🙂! I'd just go with a kneesaver 4 piece type of handlebar to add that mid school flare to it.
I love the mid school riding style! Just prefer my bikes to look a bit more modern 😉
@@stuartgibson I can't get with the handlebar because the bikes remind me of the 80's Huffy's that my older Brother had. I prefer the mid school GT's and Dyno design from my teens and early twenties. I'm planning on putting together something like a 2001 GT Performer in the near future. I've been riding a MTB and Messenger Bike for the past few years....and they don't quite cut it😢.
You should check out the Haro Lineage Team Master 2019. I’d say it’s more of an old school look but you might just like it!
@@stuartgibson That Haro is pretty good, but the 01 Performer with a set of 48's crushes all in it's path. I surely wouldn't mind a set of those Haro Super Pro's though!
My plan is to do sort of a throwback hot pink frame and fork that's a reminiscent of the 80's Performer.
I remember seeing a hot pink GT like that online. The 80's.. wasn't even born back then. Message me a picture when you get the build done!
Should have put a maxxis grifter tire on the front like he did on the back would have been just all around cleaner
I agree it would look cleaner! I do prefer the way the DTH feels for riding.

No idea, but it isn’t cheap
The gyro kit is 80$
A standard really good set of rims + tires is about 400-500
That frame is between 300-400
All the other parte together probably 200-400
So probably between 1 and 2 grand
