Can't wait to see how you like the berd spokes! So interested in them. Only ever seen them on a very certain light bike before.
A few sessions deep and so far so good. They feel super solid. The only thing I can see hurting them would be lots of ledge grinding without hub guards

The downside with powder coating is that it weights a bit more if you compare it to a thinner paint... But holds up very well! Those wheels are PIMP btw

Can't complain with the new bike weight. My Ti-lairdframe build is only a pound lighter and I don't use pegs.

@@jaydalton yeah that may do it! Definitely hurts a bit more when you pop them! From my experience they only pop with glass in the sketchy part of town.

I'm still a small biker :) There were a couple mtb/moto vids in a row because I tore a muscle in my leg and couldn't ride BMX. Back in business in all fronts again though

Love the new whip. Color choice is on point, even the white spokes. You can prob color them with sharpie it they’re made of string haha. So are the spoke made of string that’s tensioned? What’s next, string chain!? (I call dibs on the patent) Can you explain a little in the next video?
Thanks Rusty! I think I really can use a sharpie, haha. The spokes are made of what Berd calls, "Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene". They have a big write up about it on their website.

When i switched to Ti spokes it changed my life, and to think these are lighter than Ti is ridiculous. i mean barspins don't even feel like your wheel is spinning. It's wild.

It took me until now to realize that bike spokes *_must_* be in tension because of how their designed. So obviously a string like spoke is possible. I'm getting these.
