I always leave my real butter out on my counter-never put in refrigerator. We just don’t like to struggle to spread hard butter on toast or bread. If you use butter like we do, leaving a stick out at a time on a covered butter dish is quite alright❣️ Love your channel, Jennifer.
My granddaughter and I tend to burn our garlic bread. Love your channel. I even watched them over and over again. Thank you for taking your time to do these videos. Have a great day.
I’d love to see a pantry tour. I always like to see how other people organize their kitchen. I get great ideas from those types of videos. I’d also love to see a “just starting out” set of easy recipes for newlyweds or kids who live on their own for the first time.
Jennifer, your kids are so great! Peter was so diligent in helping Warren with the wood and the campfire. I love so much to see your family enjoying the time you spend with each other, whether it is a campfire, on outings, or cooking together in the kitchen. I know you are a busy Momma, but I would love to see more videos.
Hi Jennifer and Family! I love all your videos!! Especially the campfire ones and the ones where you go out and cut down your Christmas tree! All your dinners looked so yummy! Thanks for sharing!! God bless!
I know it may sound odd, but instead of using butter to spread on the bread when making grilled cheese, spread the bread with a smear of mayonnaise. It browns beautifully. I was told that restaurants use mayonnaise and not butter. So easy to spread.
I don't do a day of freezer meals because I no longer have the freezer space but when there's a sale in vegies, I may spend part of a day prepping ingredients for future meals. I hand chop and use the food processor and put chopped onions, carrots, celery, peppers, everything in freezer bags or vacuum seal and store in my smaller freezer. When I'm ready to cook, I just open my freezer and can grab all my pre-cut veges and it makes meals so much easier. (I'm always out of celery so pre-dicing and freezing helps me never run out!)
When I was at cooking school my chef called it "marry" when the food needed time to combine the flavours before eating. Oh goodness that frosting looks so yummy. I'm going to make that soon! Every thing always looks so good in your videos ... Thank you for posting and ur awesome as always ❤ God Bless and Happy Easter ... Friday is good because Sunday is coming!
Hi Jennifer,. Your looking great as ever this in Ingrid Anna a farmers daughter from Amish Dutch Country ✝️🌼 I have sent you a shout few times and Iam the women with the disabled son!!!! Well, anyway you may not remember, but Iam a big fan, and purchased many items, it was nice to see your Vac video, and to see the shore this time in the summer season!! Wow The kids especially Maria have grown so much! Time flies,I am sure it was different going to Fla without the rest of the family there! Also it was so cool your dinner on the fire in the snow ,neither less!!😅. Now ,that ,was something, my son and I learned, and something we would love to try!!!!😅 And to Peter I love Angle Food cake too!😂 Well ,God bless you all, till next time here or on Instagram, take care 👍!Ingrid✝️🙏🌺🌼
Everything you've prepared in this video look Absolutely DELICIOUS!😋 Love the variety! Your fingernails are Beautiful!💕 Happy Belated Birthday 🎂 Warren!
Ohhh.......that fire smells good even in my living room!! :) I haven't tasted a hotdog on a fire like that since I can't remember when. Thanks for sharing. God's blessings on your awesome family. 🥰🥰🥰
Enjoyed that tradition s still exist memories and hope that your kids will pass it on. Love your simple foods I grew up in Wisconsin brings me back home.
This was a great video just watching you all have a campfire and fixing hotdogs and enjoying yourself with each other Happy Birthday to Warren turning 50 is not so bad im will be turning 60 this year if the Lord see fit. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. 🎉❤
Fried rice is best with precooked day old rice. Heat rice up in the pan, add mixed veggies and chopped broccoli, fresh garlic and then soy sauce and black pepper. Eggs if you like eggs. Protein if you eat meat.
We love your whisky burgers, we started brushing ours with bbq sauce while on the grill them topping with the cheese bacon French fried onions & some of that cowboy candy or fresh jalapeños! So good!
Hi Jennifer and sweet family! Everything looked delicious and I keep my butter out in a butter boat. It stays soft and spreadable without being a melted mess. The weenier roast looked like so much fun, brings back memories of my kids when they where young. Have a blessed night!
This was an excellent meals of the video! I watched a good bit of it while hungry, so I wanted it all.😀 You put a lot of love into the chicken and rice soup, so I know it was delicious. 😋 I love seeing your wiener roast and hearing the tradition behind it. Yes, Maria is definitely a Wisconsin girl!
Hi Jennifer. It cracked me up when you were talking about burning the toasted buns and Warren said, "Been there. Ate that." The fire in the woods and roasting hot dogs was so heartwarming. Those are memories your children will remember forever. Take good care.
Happy birthday 🎉Warren, I really enjoyed this video 😊, we used to roast wieners over the gas stove they were good a little burned with a lot of mustard 😋 and your burgers 🍔 😋yummy 😋 going to make your whiskey burgers sometime soon!
I love the color of your nails. So pretty! What a fun video! Especially loved the campfire. Thank you so much again for sharing with us. (I also enjoyed the cooking. :-) )
Hi all good morning happy Wednesday morning and I hope you having amazing day today and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of all of you
With your sausage stir fry, I make fettuccine noodles and mix it all together after the noodles are cooked. I season it with Greek seasoning. Very good! That Greek seasoning is different and tastes real good!
Hi Jennifer... these meals and extras look so delicious. I love a good chicken noodle soup too. Next time you have a bunch of celery, cut the tops of the stalks where the leaves are... pluck the leaves off and put them on a plate to naturally dry. Once completely dry, keep in a ziploc baggie or something of that nature. Next time you run out of celery to flavor a soup, you can use the leaves. They intensify the flavor of celery even more-so than celery slices. A great way to salvage those tops of the stalks of celery. Also, for "toasting" burger buns or hot dog buns, you don't have to use the broiler. Just set your oven temp at 350... and "toast" for 5 minutes or so. It SO reduces the risk of burning by like 75% at least! Just some "learned" ideas in my years of cooking. Hugs, Penny Sue
I get the leg quarters also and raw pack in quart jars with no liquid and pressure can. Then when I want soup I debone the chicken and make sure I use all the liquid that ends up in the jar. So I always have chicken ready cooked for whatever I need it for. It's unusually leg quarters but sometimes breasts.
Chicken on the bone is the best. Makes wonderful chicken bone broth. We had burgers tonight and we had dark brown buns, but I caught them just before....
True Wisconsinites-hot dog roast in the snow! You guys are made of hearty stock. Lol. Maria cracked me up in her tank top and sock hat! Brrr! Looked like fun!
If you have never tried angel food pineapple cake, it is so simple and delicious. I angel food cake mix dry, mix in one can of undrained crushed pineapple. That is it, 2 ingredients, but very good.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl combine the angel food cake mix and the crushed pineapple. Mix well with a hand mixer. Pour into a 9×13 pan (no need to spray the pan). Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes until golden brown. The cake will fluff up but it will settle as it cools. Allow it to cool completely. Spread thawed cool whip over the top and
OH yum!! I LOVE all the recipes/meals you made. DELISH!! Maria is such a beautiful young lady. SO sweet how she helps you in the kitchen and compliments your food. Love your family... Thanks for the awesome videos!
So funny! My hubby's fave cake is also the angel food cake. I tried once early on in our marriage I tried to make it (not knowing much about cooking) It turned out about a 1 in brick. So, I bought them ever since! Those burgers look like something my family would really enjoy.
Yes, could you make your pizza dough. I have both your cookbooks but would like to see you make it. I really like your cookbook, your Harvest bread is my husband's favorite.
What an absolutely awesome vid Jen and everyone 😊😊 your burger looked the best dressed of all, I’m totally making, pineapple and roasted red pepper and the sauce !! Light pink looks really pretty on you 😊 ❤ Tbay :)
I forget to mention that I've been making Mennonite noodles for my chicken soup. One egg and one cup flour mixed together and water as needed to make dough. Roll out and cut with pizza cutter or knife to make small squares or whatever shape and put into simmering soup at the end.
Hi Jennifer! I live in Florida right now and yes the butter is always soft…..but we are shortly moving back to Colorado. I know I will miss the soft butter! I just had to laugh. 😀😀😀
YES! Burnt garlic toast every time. I’ve even had the smoke detector go off……I was all the way in the basement doing who knows what. I now solicit a second set of eyes to watch it. It is a family joke. Can’t leave mom alone with the garlic bread. 😂
Everything looks delicious! I never made fried rice like that usually use peas and carrots lettuce though hmm… Angel Food cake my mom made a lot usually with a light glaze though or that cooked frosting. It’s a cake you are supposed to be able to eat even on a diet lol
Buy box cakes especially angel food cake with the prices of eggs its a lot cheaper. I make angel food cake in muffin tins lined makes wonderful single serve cakes and foes well in the freezer.
My dad always made the homemade chicken broth and then put it in the fridge overnight and the next day the fat had risen to the top and solidified and then he removed the fat and the broth was delicious and turned into soup.
Yay! An hour with Jennifer in the kitchen. 😊
Hope you enjoyed it!
I always leave my real butter out on my counter-never put in refrigerator. We just don’t like to struggle to spread hard butter on toast or bread. If you use butter like we do, leaving a stick out at a time on a covered butter dish is quite alright❣️ Love your channel, Jennifer.
I think Jennifer does leave it out, but the cold house keeps the butter hard.
Oh yes, I leave it out too, but it’s still hard here in the winter.
Exactly Kat. 😊
I leave it out and sometimes I’ll move it closer to the stove to soften, I’m in Wisconsin and in the winter, the butter never gets real soft.
Same here in Ireland, but I put a blob in the microwave for ten seconds and that usually softens enough to butter my bread!❤🇮🇪🙏
My granddaughter and I tend to burn our garlic bread. Love your channel. I even watched them over and over again. Thank you for taking your time to do these videos. Have a great day.
Walk away for a minute and then burnt toast.

Finally a good video to watch that hasn’t been anything else on today
Jennifer, thank you for inspiring me to be the best wife and mother that I can be. You are a big role model in my life! 😊

Thanks for the tip!
I thought it was odd too, but after trying it, never used butter anymore, my family actually liked it better 😊

Fried rice is best with precooked day old rice. Heat rice up in the pan, add mixed veggies and chopped broccoli, fresh garlic and then soy sauce and black pepper. Eggs if you like eggs. Protein if you eat meat.
My mom taught me to always add 3-4 drops of yellow food coloring to my chicken soup. It makes it look so rich.
LOVE your meals in the week videos!
We love your whisky burgers, we started brushing ours with bbq sauce while on the grill them topping with the cheese bacon French fried onions & some of that cowboy candy or fresh jalapeños! So good!
Sounds like a mix of whiskey burgers and western burgers and full of deliciousness.

Always have to buy two packs of rolls on holidays Dinner isn’t ready until the first batch is burnt 😂
Jen, I just enjoy watching your meals of the week! You make everything so yummy!
I've squeezed mayo out like that many times. I have had too much come out once, but I still do it.😊
With your sausage stir fry, I make fettuccine noodles and mix it all together after the noodles are cooked. I season it with Greek seasoning. Very good! That Greek seasoning is different and tastes real good!
I love Greek seasoning. That would be a nice change.
Thanks for the idea. Might top with feta cheese too.

I understand completely 🌸
You can add poultry seasoning to all kinds of chicken or turkey soup. It adds another depth of flavor. I think you will like it.😊
Thanks for the tips!
I need to try the lettuce I've only ever done it using cabbage
Love your videos and yes I have burnt many things 😂😂😂

My dad always made the homemade chicken broth and then put it in the fridge overnight and the next day the fat had risen to the top and solidified and then he removed the fat and the broth was delicious and turned into soup.
That is my favorite bouillon to use. I used to use knorr but I “try” not to use msg as much as I possibly can.
