When my son was old enough I bought him a child’s recipe book and he cooked one dinner every week for us. Now he’s a grown man and is an excellent cook and gardener.
I was thinking the same thing. How many women are going to have fresh, warm hamburger buns for their burgers? I hope they find women that will. It would be great!
I made your recipe for the hamburger buns tonight, and even shaped some into hot dog buns! They were so easy and quick to mix up and absolutely the softest, lightest buns I have ever made. My husband said, "You never have to buy buns at the grocery again!" We used them with grilled brats and sauteed onions and peppers. They really made the meal over the top! Thank you for sharing.

I made your hamburger buns yesterday reducing the amounts to small enough so I could make them in my breadmaker's dough setting. THESE ARE FABULOUS❣️ I shared with my next door neighbor, who shared with her best friend and now your recipe (the smaller amount version) is very popular in my senior apartments complex. I've given out your YT name too. I can't thank you enough!! The smaller recipe made 2 hamburger buns, 2 hot dog buns, and 2 fried breads or scones. Just enough for a 1 person household!! ❤💃🥰😁
Ruth Ann, I do enjoy watching your everyday life, but even more I enjoy your positivity and self-discipline. My home has become a neater, more welcoming place since I have been encouraged and challenged by your videos. Thank you.
Great video, thank you! You mentioning that you "do it the way your mom did" reminded me of a funny story I think you will appreciate. So for years, my best friend always cut the ends off her roasts prior to putting them in a roaster. It wasn't until many many years later that one day her mom was over and seen her doing this and asked why she cuts the ends off. Her reply was "that is what you did, so I just always do it that way too". Her mom was dumbfounded, she said to her daughter "You do this because I did?" Her daughter said "Yes, I do many things the way you taught me, but have to be honest, I don't understand why you cut the ends off your roasts." Mom said, "I typically don't, I am guessing the reason I did it the day you were watching was because the roast was too big for the roaster, so I cut the ends off so it would fit in the roaster."🤣😂 So for all these years my friend cut the ends off her roasts just "because that's how mom did it"! We often don't ask why we do things the way we do, we simply trust "mother knows best" and continue the tradition. It is my favorite story my gf told me of her family. We were horseback riding at the time & I almost fell off my horse I was laughing so hard!
Good morning! At age 68 I too have returned to school as a school bus driver. I really enjoy the driving and the children, so I don't mind seeing school beginning again. So many helpful tips throughout your video makes it easy to follow your recipes successfully. For instance, taking care to go slowly adding the flour and adding it in small increments with good kneading tips. Thanks so much! Thank you for this video. I have been wanting to try to make hamburger buns and it looks not difficult at all. Ruth I enjoy watching your videos for several reasons. First of all they are calm. After the craziness out in the world this calm is pleasing. Secondly, I have been learning so much about cooking. I have made bread on and off during my 66 years and I have never felt like I was doing well. Thank you for your calm voice and easy instructions to help me through. Thirdly, I have appreciated your canning knowledge. My garden is in great abundance this year and I am enjoying processing my food. Fourth, I like watching your videos because your family shows love to each other. I stopped watching tv at least a year ago because the violence was overwhelming. Thank you! Your addition onto your home will be such a help for you and your family and I will definitely be watching what you create out there. Have the best day. God's blessings to each of you.
We appreciate you too, Ruth Ann. We enjoy watching because we can see how filled with goodwill you are. I know that the youtube algorithm is hard to predict - it didn't recommend your channel til recently even tho I've been watching homesteading videos since 2020. So I mention you in the comments of other channels, so that people with similar taste will be able to find you!
Looking forward to trying this recipe! Quick tip for faster patties is to Pat or roll it out and use the same jar ring to cut your patties. I do with my big family and it’s super fast, easy, and perfectly round and all the same thickness.
What a great video! You make it seem so doable for everyone to try! My mother in law used to make the best buns. I miss her and her breads. Thanks for all you do putting these videos out for all of us. You are so appreciated! God bless you and your family.🙏 Have a safe Labor Day holiday weekend!
@@RuthannzimmThank you so much for the bun recipe! When I was in school, many decades ago, we had the best school food. Everything was homemade. I have been wanting a homemade bun recipe forever. I can't wait to try it!
Hi You are a very teacher. You make the instruction easy to understand. Love the bread recipes.Want to get a starter made. Love home made bread. Have and use a bread machine all the time but the bread isn’t the same as oven baked. The buns were awesome. Hamburgers looked great. Please tell me how many children you have and are they all biological ?what is the age range ? Thank you. Love your videos.
I beg of you, please look into what you are actually saying when you refer to children as the L word. Hint: gross "adult" stuff (in. Sessst, childgrape, etc) YES, *REALLY!!*
I enjoy your realness; as a farm wife myself, there is always work to do! I think it’s funny how folks can always seem to find fault in others, yet have a hard time seeing themselves ( referring to the Saran Wrap comments in another video) I’m glad you’re teaching your kids about the Lord. Thank you so much for being you.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a prettier hamburger. To pretty to eat. I appreciate how you gather up the bits of dough and don’t waste a bit of goodness. 🤗. What makes the cheese Gouda instead of Mozzarella, for instance. 🤗
I feel beyond blessed that I found your channel. I have learned so much and truly love how your children have become such an integral part of your homestead. You have a beautiful family and I just wanted to thank you for inviting us all into your home to learn such wonderful homesteading skills.
Thank you so much for giving the best instructions for preparing recipes.....you are so detailed. I love the project you both have begun and your family will love it. Have an awesome fall....
I love you! Your life is my dream life. Thank you for your videos! I made your salsa and it is delicious! I can not wait to make the hamburger buns and all of the other wonderful things you make! Your family is beautiful and your land and gardens are gorgeous. I have always loved anything Amish. Have a wonderful weekend.

As a home baker I have learned that no matter what you do to try and make your buns soft and subtle like the store bought is impossible. The store bought buns have a softener like a yoga mat material in them to make them that consistency. Your method of same day is best. The other thing is to make a less dense dough by adding less flour so you have more of a "wet" dough and let rise.
Thank you Ruth Ann. You are the hardest working woman I’ve ever seen, God Bless you and your family. I love handmade breads I’ve never been very good at making anything that has to do with flour!!
@@janfelshaw8217 your correct, I can practice watching her videos and replaying them, I might just give it another try. The last time I tried making rolls was at thanksgiving, they wouldn’t rise so I had to make a trip to Walmart and get some brown and serve rolls!!! I remember my grandma making the best cobblers now I wish I had paid attention. She rolled the dough put on bottom of pan then fruit and she would use whatever dough she had left and cut strips and put them on top. I’ve seen anyone make cobblers that way anymore.
Thank you for sharing your recipe for hamburger buns! I've watched several videos for making them but would have never thought of using a canning ring to cut them out!! What a great idea!! Love your channel and I can always say that I learn something new😊

I have just started watching you. My mother's side of the family is Mennonite - Northern Indiana. I just want you to know, I have enjoyed watching your videos. I have learned quite a bit from you - especially the bread making. Thank you so much.
Good morning Ruth. I often use coffee as my liquid in my dough, especially when I use wheat flour. It just gives it a rich brown color. I often share them with neighbors and family 😊
I’m so excited that your channel came over my feed! I subscribed immediately! All your content brings back such wonderful memories. I grew up in rural Ontario, Canada. My parents were brought up with their Mom’s being Mennonite and their Dad’s being Lutheran, of course, as were we. My siblings and I were so blessed! My maternal Great grandma Mary Ann was adorable and amazing. She lived into her 90’s. She was always in her garden with her prayer cap and blue dress on. She loved blue! Her daughter Irene was precious, as well. We have been exposed to both ways of life and I cherish every memory. I can still remember all of that love, singing and wonderful food! I still carry on this lifestyle, with my family. God is so Good! May The Lord be with you always and keep you in His loving care. Thank you so much, for your content and for the cherished walk down memory lane!
I love watching ALL your videos! You are so full of wisdom in so many different ways/subjects or what ever you want to call it. 😂 Although I'm sure at times your children may feel like dragging their feet with chores, etc, they will be so much more knowledgeable of how to take care of themselves and animals, gardening, etc, then most kids these days! Much love from Kentucky and can't wait until next Saturday for another video!
I just made these this morning. So simple! I made two "errors" when I did mine though. First, I rolled out the dough too thin, probably closer to 1/4" or 3/8" instead of the recommended 1/2", and they were a little squatter than what you'd expect a hamburger bun to be. Second, I didn't have a wide mouth jar lid to cut the buns out of the dough so I used a egg form which I thought was about the same size. Seems it was just a bit undersized so the buns came out a little smaller in diameter than expected. Either way, the buns still came out great, taste delicious, and I got some practice in kneading dough. I feel I'm ready to tackle a bread loaf now! :) It was neat seeing the yeast foam indicating it was still active and then watching the bread rise as I waited the 10 minutes. I knew right then these buns were going to come out good as the recipe had to work just like you said. And it did! I ended up slicing my 2 dozen buns in half and then freezing them. I'm not having burgers today, but I just needed to try the recipe! Thank you for an easy to follow-along video. Cheers!
You are a wealth of inspiration and information! I love watching your videos even at 70 years old. I would have loved to have the knowledge you have at such a young age! May God continue his blessing upon you and your family!
I am always so pleased when I finally sit down for a rest from all my chores to see a new video from you! I have made all our bread ever since COVID but have never had much success with hamburger buns. You make it look so easy. I will try again. :) God is good all the time!
I thing burgers need to be on the menu this weekend with those buns. Thanks! That outside space is going to be gorgeous and well used I imagine. Can’t wait to see it finished. Looking forward to your cheesemaking series. I’ve been wanting to try my hand at cheesemaking for some time.

I am so grateful to you. I don't have family that can bake, and your videos have gotten me through some really hard times. Also learned alot about the natural pectin. Thanks so much
You need a flexible bowl scraper and a large enough steel bowl. Check out The Richard Bertinet Method, Slap, Fold, Walk, for making bread. I mix 5kg (total) by hand following Bertinet's Method. You should express dough recipes in weight instead of volume measuring. Dough recipes by weight and bakers percentage makes reproducing and scaling the recipe easier. Your Bun recipe is a high hydration dough: 70% hydration 240g Milk 180g Water 115g Butter, salted/unsalted? 6g Salt 63g Honey (The total liquid measure 454g) 19g Instant Dry Yeast 650g A.P. Flour (Honey and butter are 20% of their weights toward liquid.) Now it is less complicated. I hope to try this recipe soon.
Another encouraging and instructive lesson for this eager student! I have been wanting to try hamburger buns, but just felt they were too much work for the end product. You are such a positive teacher, and those buns look so fluffy and delicious, so I'll be doing them next time we have burgers. Thanks so much for making your recipes easily downloadable and printable. I am starting to have quite a collection of your creations! I actually have a big bowl of your sandwich bread pre-ferment sitting on my counter as I write this. I made it a few weeks ago (I cut the recipe in half as it is just my husband and me most of the time around here). Within the next few days I'll be making your canned salsa, also! Blessings, Marie

I think he should adjust his tastebuds because I definitely want to keep making this recipe🥰
After watching all the News channels, it's so refreshing to see your "everyday" life. While i no longer have a vegetable garden, i still can and preserve produce i buy from my Amish friends. They raise and butcher a cow for us each year, but about 90% of the meat is ground into hamburger meat. Our meat is very moist, yet very lean. Its difficult to get burgers to hold up on the grill. Your tip on this was a game changer for me too. Many times, I've ended up adding ground turkey to the mix. However, that's not a meat we have readily available to use. I love seeing the children help and learn from your teaching. One day, your children can say, "this is how my mother taught me". Thank you for sharing your family and experiences with us.
These were delicious! The best hamburger buns I’ve ever made. I’ve made a few recipes that never really turned out. These don’t even have egg in them and came out so soft! Just to add: I used 4 1/4 cup flour. Will keep this recipe forever. Also, I love your style in making videos ~ it’s like a dance instead of cut and dry “this is how you do it.”
I made these today to use with leftover Thanksgiving turkey (Canadian Thanksgiving) and they turned out beautifully. Baking these not only made my house smell delicious, it also created a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you for all that you do. You are my inspiration.

I have a big 6 qt professional Kitchen Aid mixer and I love it. But when I make bread I always do it by hand. I enjoy doing it that way. At first I done it so that I knew that I could if I had to. I continue to do it that way because I enjoy it. My youngest daughter has been making homemade bread with me since she was about 6 and she loves it. I can’t wait to make your hamburger bun recipe! Thank you for the recipe.
I'm a 70 yr old scratch cook and baker. We've been married 49 yrs. I'm pretty sure that's the reason why. lol I have had men ask me to marry them in front of my husband and their wives. NO one got mad... I wasn't sure whether to be flattered or insulted. The wives were fine with it as long as they could eat here, too. lol On the serious side, there was a time when ppl had to learn these skills to survive. I just happen to enjoy doing it. I didn't have a career, worked part time when I had to but preferred to stay at home and save money by doing things myself. A penny saved is a penny earned, too. Love your channel. :o)
@@1954mill Could be, I was born in 1953 so we're sister baby boomers if you were born in '54. lol We grew up with 3 stations on TV and phone numbers were 5 digits. Mc Donalds didn't get here till I was about out of High School. People grew gardens, had fruit trees, jarred their harvest, they made their own cleaning and laundry solutions, washed diapers ( no disposables ) and we didn't even have paper towels till I was a teenager. So when the pandemic hit and ppl were freaked out about toilet paper shortages, I didn't. I knew what to do if push came to shove. I learned these skills from the generation before me and I'm ever so thankful I did. :o)

I always look forward to your videos! So entertaining but always educational and I appreciate learning from you. You inspire me to do more in my kitchen. Thank you!
I made these although I should have looked at the yield for the recipe because when I made them I got ten buns but perhaps I didn’t roll them out as thin as you did and they looked like baseballs the way they puffed up in the rise and during the baking in the oven but I was really glad you gave the temperature of 191F for the internal temp because that’s how I knew they were cooked on the inside. I used bacon fat and butter with Unbleached flour and I add six tablespoons of whole wheat flour and they turned out delicious! I also didn’t have any milk so I used almond milk and it worked fine! Also the other thing I did was cut them in half and with butter in the pan I toasted them and they were delicious hamburger buns! Thank you thank you thank you!! 🥰❤️🙏🏻🇨🇦
Thank you for the step by step instructions!!! I'm trying to get more into a homesteading life - but all the knowledge is a little overwhelming 🙈 I think I could definitely make these!!!! Thank you! 💜
I absolutely loved this video! Baking bread is something I am highly interested in learning! I've noticed more and more the sub rolls in our local markets are expired but still on the shelves. It is challenging to find fresh bread. This is the motivation to wanting to learn myself. I grew up in the city not understanding where food truly comes from. Over the past few years, since moving to PA, I have taken to learning and changing how/where I make my food purchases. Two years ago, was my first time having fresh corn and I haven't gone back to store bought corn since! Last year was my first year purchasing a portion of a cow from a local farmer and I struggle with meat coming from the market now. Same for tomato sauce, I disliked any red sauce from the store and will not eat it; however, my Father-in-Law taught me to make my own tomato sauce using tomatoes from the garden and I LOVE it! Nothing negative against the local markets or big box stores, I just prefer locally grown and homemade over purchasing. Thank you for all you do! I have learned so much from you! ❤
Thank you for teaching me how to make my own hamburger buns. I'm going to make them and freeze them so my husband and I will have them when we need them. Pickles, Ruth Ann. We got to have pickles on our burgers. 😉 Or I do along with all the other delicious toppings.
You better teach your boys to cook because they may never find a wife that can cook as great as you lol 😂

Her daughter said "Yes, I do many things the way you taught me, but have to be honest, I don't understand why you cut the ends off your roasts." Mom said, "I typically don't, I am guessing the reason I did it the day you were watching was because the roast was too big for the roaster, so I cut the ends off so it would fit in the roaster."🤣😂 So for all these years my friend cut the ends off her roasts just "because that's how mom did it"! We often don't ask why we do things the way we do, we simply trust "mother knows best" and continue the tradition. It is my favorite story my gf told me of her family. I always look forward to your videos and seeing your beautiful family. Have a great day!
As a bread maker this video brought me peace. You made it so calmly. You have a beautiful family❤ Thank you for sharing your recipe!
Thank you for your hard work and helping us! Happy for your home as you add on! May the Lord bless you greatly!
I agree with everything you have said. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
I loved watching you make those buns and burgers you are amazing
You make it look so easy ! Thanks, thinking May jump in and try some of your great ideas/ways!!

God bless you and your family.🙏
Have a safe Labor Day holiday weekend!
You are so welcome!
@@RuthannzimmThank you so much for the bun recipe! When I was in school, many decades ago, we had the best school food. Everything was homemade. I have been wanting a homemade bun recipe forever. I can't wait to try it!
Hi
You are a very teacher.
Love your videos. I'm 69 years old and I learn so much!! God BLESS you and your FAMILY.
Now I know how to get round buns! I would think you could also use the small mouth jar lid for smaller buns for the Littles in the group.
Good morning Ruth Ann and everyone else. I❤ when you make cheese and all the things. You explain it so well and makes it easier to make the food.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a prettier hamburger. To pretty to eat. I appreciate how you gather up the bits of dough and don’t waste a bit of goodness. 🤗. What makes the cheese Gouda instead of Mozzarella, for instance. 🤗
Gouda is an aged cheese, mozzarella is not
I feel beyond blessed that I found your channel. I have learned so much and truly love how your children have become such an integral part of your homestead. You have a beautiful family and I just wanted to thank you for inviting us all into your home to learn such wonderful homesteading skills.
These are the most soft and fluffy hamburger buns. They were delicious. My forever recipe for hamburger and hot dog buns.
Thank you so much for giving the best instructions for preparing recipes.....you are so detailed. I love the project you both have begun and your family will love it. Have an awesome fall....
Thank you for showing us how to make buns. I have hamburgers on the menu, so I'm going to give it a try. I love your videos.
I love watching your show. God has blessed you with a real man who is a protector, provider, and great father. God has blessed you with being a great example to all mothers. You are a gift to us. Thank you. Your children are beautiful. Please keep my family and I in your prayers. God bless.
Best Hamburger Bun I have ever tasted... This recipe is definitely a keeper..
Thank you so much for sharing. I am 74 and have never made hamburger buns. I appreciate you sharing. May God bless you and your family.❤️✝️🙏🇺🇸
Fellow black pepper lover over here! Your burger buns look lovely! I’m going to give this a try. 😊
Your videos are so encouraging and refreshing to view! Thank you for being such a blessing.
I just love watching and listening to you. Thank you for being here!!
Thank you Ruth Ann. You are the hardest working woman I’ve ever seen, God Bless you and your family. I love handmade breads I’ve never been very good at making anything that has to do with flour!!
Never say never! You can do it, it just takes practice. And a good teacher like Ruth Ann.
Watching your videos is like a visit with an old friend. I always learn something that helps my life. Thank you for all you put into the videos.
Tyvm for this video. I've Watched several about hamburger buns but yours is by far the best and simplest.
Thank you for sharing your recipe for hamburger buns! I've watched several videos for making them but would have never thought of using a canning ring to cut them out!! What a great idea!! Love your channel and I can always say that I learn something new😊
Ruth, I really enjoy your videos. And I love watching you and your children. They are so industrious and hard working. Thank you for sharing your recipes and know how. At 70 I am learning new skills! Who knew? 😂 I really appreciate you. Thanks from the bottom of my heart! ❤️
I can almost smell those buns! I didn’t think about cutting them like you do for biscuits. I will try this next time.
We made these Buns for a family dinner tonight and they were a huge hit! Thank you so much
Thank you for passing on this down to earth, no-nonsense life enjoyment .
You are so wonderfully sweet and a wonderful teacher! I have always wanted to make cheese but like with other thing it’s intimidating. However, I enjoy cooking and always challenge myself! It makes it fun! Thank you for all you do to share! I enjoy you and your family so much! God bless and keep all of you! Shalom! ❤
I have just started watching you. My mother's side of the family is Mennonite - Northern Indiana. I just want you to know, I have enjoyed watching your videos. I have learned quite a bit from you - especially the bread making. Thank you so much.
...you're awesome... you always make things look so doable. I have grown in confidence in both the kitchen and the homestead, thanks to you!❤
Good morning Ruth. I often use coffee as my liquid in my dough, especially when I use wheat flour. It just gives it a rich brown color. I often share them with neighbors and family 😊
Great tip!
Your hamburger bun recipe was just what I was needing !! I'm just now learning about homemade breads !! Love watching you learning so much !!!
I love making bread and this hamburger bun recipe was hands down the easiest and most delicious buns I have ever made.
Love all of your recipes and how to videos. Can't wait to see your outdoor space when it is completed. Perhaps a few videos of the build as well.
I love seeing the sleeping dog outside while you are making the hamburger buns. That makes me feel right at home.
I am always so pleased when I finally sit down for a rest from all my chores to see a new video from you! I have made all our bread ever since COVID but have never had much success with hamburger buns. You make it look so easy. I will try again. :) God is good all the time!
Wonderful!
Thank you for all your videos.God bless you and your wonderful family
I thing burgers need to be on the menu this weekend with those buns. Thanks! That outside space is going to be gorgeous and well used I imagine. Can’t wait to see it finished. Looking forward to your cheesemaking series. I’ve been wanting to try my hand at cheesemaking for some time.
Girl your the best !! you don't play when it comes to making ANYTHING !! glad i found ya
Love the wholesome lifestyle. I appreciate that you use regular tools in the kitchen, like the jar ring, to accomplish basic tasks. So awesome you have the Christian school close to your residence. The printable links are a bonus! Thank you! Shalome to your home! 🕊
A small silicone spatula works great for mixing as the dough doesn't stick to it like it does to a wooden spoon.
Your Bun recipe is a high hydration dough:
70% hydration
240g Milk
180g Water
115g Butter, salted/unsalted?
6g Salt
63g Honey
(The total liquid measure 454g)
19g Instant Dry Yeast
650g A.P. Flour
(Honey and butter are 20% of their weights toward liquid.)
Now it is less complicated.
I made this recipe last night and they were amazing! Cut the recipe in half since we are a small family. Pretty sure I won't be buying buns again! Thank you for sharing!
Oh Ruth Anne! Guess what!? I made a fresh peach pie today using your recipe! It was a huge hit! Hubs LOVES it! We love fresh fruits and I figured he would enjoy that type of pie! The crust was very easy and I love that it’s a bit sweet. Next time, I’m making strawberry or red raspberry pie! Thank you for the recipe and for the inspiration! God bless!❤️❤️🙏
DEAREST RUTH, I MADE HAMBURGERS USING YOUR RECIPE... AND GOD IS MY WITNESS I HAVE NEVER NEVER HAD BUNS THAT TASTED SOOOOO GOOD. MY ENTIRE FAMILY AGREES... THANK YOU THANK YOU.
Thank you for another educational, informational, and entertaining video. The patio area looks like it will be quite lovely when it is completed. Thanks for keeping me company in my kitchen as I work my way through bowls and baskets of garden produce.
I made buns tonight and used your fantastic idea for a bun cutter, makes the perfect size for burger buns. Love your videos and wonderful tips. May the Lord Bless you and your family.
Thank you!!!
Excellent cooking instruction video. The out door kitchen is going to be fantastic.😊❤
RuthAnne, I am so glad I found your channel. I sure wish you had started sooner, but at least you are here now. Blessings from an old gal in Idaho.
I really enjoy watching your videos! Thank you for the recipe for hamburger buns! I also have been disappointed in store-bought ones!!
Ruthann I am beyond thrilled to have found your channel. This is one bread recipe that I can't wait to try. My grands love burgers and I'm always having to send someone to the store for rolls simply because I like them fresh. Now with only needing 1 hour I can make them and it will save time and money. You can't get any fresher than homemade hot out of the oven. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. Have a fabulous week! Take care. Many blessings to you and yours
Greetings from the Northern Oregon Coast!I love watching your lovely videos and learning your recipes and techniques. Thank you for sharing your homemaking skills.
I made the hamburger 🍔 buns yesterday! They look like they’re from the store and I love how they’re so fresh and they stick to the roof of your mouth 😋! My husband wasn’t giving his usual compliments tho. I found out he doesn’t like tasting yeast 😮. I love the taste of yeast 😊. Whoever heard of such a thing 🤷♀️. I think he should adjust his tastebuds because I definitely want to keep making this recipe🥰
Love the way you teach us your skills❤
Oh my goodness Ruthann I love your videos! When the weather gets cooler I’m gonna make these buns and try to make your jelly. You also have a bunch of cute and respectful children. God bless 🙏😊
Never have I tasted such an amazing piece of bread! Pulled pork sandwiches will never be the same! Thank you!!!
I love your videos and recipes they’re always simple and precise instructions ! I love the simple ways of life . M most of us would never think of making our own hamburger rolls
I made your hamburger buns for dinner tonight and the leftovers for tomorrow’s dinner. Your recipes are so easy to follow and the end product always blows my mind. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. Can’t wait to make my own hot pockets now.
I'm so excited to test this recipe for our dinner tonight. I also love your closing scene, your beautiful land and Inky is soooooo cute! ❤
I am just amazed how differently people make their dough. Canning ring dough cutter, perfect!
Thank you for sharing your recipe! I made sourdough for the first time recently, but I need to keep trying. 😏
Thank you for the delicious hamburger buns recipe. I can’t wait to try them…I love your easygoing teaching style!
We always use our tap water which is 135-140 degrees. It always works and doesn't kill the yeast. We've been doing this for years.
I think you’re me lol 😊 or we’re twins.

Hello from Oklahoma! I found your channel about 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love your content. Thank you for sharing, I’m always inspired!
Welcome!!
Have been binging your channel the last few weeks after subscribing. This ol' city gal is so very grateful for you and the info you share. Blessings to you and your family!
Thank you! 💜
This is wonderful! I was just thinking that I had to buy hamburger buns this weekend, and I don’t care for the store-bought either. Thank you!!
What a beautiful food journey you’ve been on!!!
I like your childrens table manners....its nice to see children at table with manners
So excited to make these! Thank you for sharing your life with us!!
Thank you for teaching me how to make my own hamburger buns. I'm going to make them and freeze them so my husband and I will have them when we need them. Pickles, Ruth Ann. We got to have pickles on our burgers. 😉 Or I do along with all the other delicious toppings.
