Thanks for those guides, they make a lot of things clearer. The main issue we have on this dungeon is with the Ancient Boss: the aggro of the lashers goes most of time on my healer who then dies instantly although I'm trying to spam thrash and swipe.
Thanks for the video, great as always! How do you deal with bleed dot applied by trash between 2nd and 3rd boss? It can be pretty massive on tank but I think you can just side step it, right?
The Spellbound Battleaxe's Severing Slash is pretty nasty, and you can't sidestep it, but you can deal with it in a couple of other ways. You can dodge/parry the initial hit, which will prevent the bleed from applying, you can line of sight the cast (similar to the Arcane Ravagers), you can CC during the cast, or you can outrange the cast. It has a 20-yard range, so actually getting 20 yards away in 1.5 seconds can be hard on some classes, but it's possible to Transcend/Leap away in time. Stunning and LoS'ing are the easiest options.
As a warrior tank I use titanic throw and improved heroic throw talents. It’s an insignificant damage loss for perfect 6 target snap threat. The only problem is you need to be careful about using it on mobs that are near enemies you don’t want to pull.
That's true, but you shouldn't need anything outside the standard kit to establish AoE threat as a Protection Warrior, and it comes with the opportunity cost of spending multiple points to buy the 6-target threat that you're already provided by just having TClap and Revenge.
I really appreciate you doing those guides for the players that enjoying playing tank I got extremely flamed by a hard style toxic warlock that was keep claiming that I had to move the boss out of the green circle that cleansing your stacks on on the first boss which I can understand here is not the case . He claims OFC to be a god damn god at the game after watching this I actually think he's delusional..............I don't know if you're planning to do it for each Dungeon but it helps a lot i know is a lot of work but I appreciate what you do here Sir
Glad to help, we are going to put out guides for every single dungeon this season. There are a lot of toxic people out there, and the best course of action is to just move past them!
As a Ret main it blows my mind how many people dont take Blinding Light. I get that not every dungeon needs it but man, like the Arcane Whirlwind, the disorient is going to be broke instantly but it cancels their cast and thats the point. Love me some Blinding Light. Edit: I hope you plan to make one of these for each of the dungeons this season. There are lots of guides but very few are actually told from the tank's perspective.
i always take mastery on my pally.. although if i told you what my stats are i should be tsking versatility no matter what in s3 gear im at 30% haste 34% mastery 20%-25% crit and like 7% versatility cant remember what my crit is thats the best i can do off the top of my head. those stats work although you couls say my pally had adhd and doesnt know which stat to pick offensive or defensive 😂😂😂 other than that love my pally hate the s4 tier set unfortunately still gonna main it

I appreciate these guides so much. I used all your routes in S3. Waiting for the rest of the S4 guides to be up
Thank you, we're working on them!

Which class is the healer playing?
@@WoWatNight resto, lot of hots.
They should just go into bear form and pop barkskin as the adds spawn. They don't need to start casting again until you have aggro.
Great videos my guy, I left after season one of DF and getting back into it now. Made me smile to see you playing Paladin :D
Thanks and welcome back! Paladin's really fun right now, and strong!

So on Tree boss, adds need to be killed asap so that the tank does not get poison dot?
Yup!

It's super undervalued. An instant AoE CC is always strong!
Don’t forget to pick up buff at the start of
Yeah that

The Vers buff is just very good on every tank. It provides so much more stat budget and doesn't fall into any diminishing returns.
the really made the doragosa fight super sweaty when she starts with 2 puddles on pull 😂
Very true!
