when you activate wind phase on the bird boss...orbs will spawn at the edges of the platform that give you haste and negate the winds on the phase. be sure to pick them up to have a easier time ^^
sadly that wind imunity only holds for a few seconds.

Here's a tip for big mana worm @ 18:00. You can tank it near a pillar/wall for LoS. A range (preferably Hunter for easier movement) can stay farthest and "bait" his leap then LoS it around the corner. The worm won't leap and simply face turn to tank for frontal breath, keeping everyone else safer and staying on it for DPS uptime.

@@quaziiwow little pillars at the end of bridge do the job well. It's closer if you doing mana boss first but coming from birds side, you can drag the group to the other side closer to the bridge.

Brew is so good against the tree
-detox helps healer with poison
-ox statue rounds up adds when they burst
-leg sweep/ring of peace for add control
-clash to pull small tree into boss for interrupt/early kill with ToD if needed
-huge aoe damage

I did a bunch of AA this week including timing some +16s. What My group found for the tree boss was actually to pop hero and all CDs on pull because like you said the first add wave doesn't matter and we can use them to funnel onto the boss. Then we just rotated Shocking Disclosure potions on the add phases that mattered so all offensive CDs could be for boss/healing add damage. Makes it die much faster.

Great detailed guide! I’ll just mention that during crawth wind section, he spawns orbs that remove the push back effect, many people ignore them. This helps you really utilise the haste buff at that phase.

Evoker heals can cheese the treeboss quite heavily by using stasis in combination with cauterizing flame (cf). Cf has a 1min cd and dispells everything but magic effects from the target including the bleed. But like all dispells it doesnt go on cd when it dispells nothing, so you can prepare a kind of bleed-massdispell by pressing stasis and firing 3 empty cfs on your DDs. Once the bleed goes out you release stasis and use the actual cf on yourself. If sb can remove the bleed otherwise (iceblock, bubble, dwarf) u could also cleanse the tank.
Combined with a wl, who banishes the 1. branch at low hp and releases it to instantly remove the 2nd bleed, this makes the treeboss an actually very easy and chill fight. the whole stress-factor of this fight is, that you don't have much time to kill the branch before the boss releases the small adds and bursts the group with his big aoe-hit. on high tyrannical you either get the overlap of the green circle with the swirlys, which is kinda dangerous, or your healer has to keep your group topped off vs a really hard dot while moving or people get killed by the following uproot-damage. Also the fight now becomes much shorter, since you can simply cleave the branch down instead of switching targets.

You are amazing, I feel relaxed in m+ now, because now I know what to be aware of. Previously, I was taking all the failing responisibilities, but now I see who should do what, what is the reason of lacking. Even I am a healer, you still mentioning important points. I am watching all your m+ masterclasses, so far I only miss Shadowmoon Burial Grounds video.
That was a great group, organized and knew what to do even better than most groups on comms. The timing of the damage and the technical knowledge each player needs on the tree boss overwhelms most pug groups.

As rogue, I usually pop blade flurry with adrenaline rush, go HAM, no tricks of trade and pop cloak and evasion for the fun of it and it helps the tank/healer a lot for the first boss with adds

What many tanks should adopt from you is:
1. Ask party if all are ready?
2. Consider tricky topics like these green puddles. (Don't know how often I died to them because you often can't see them)
3. Short pull timer, so as a DH I can use my circle and also my trinket (from that dungeon) properly.
Seeing tanks just ignore esp. 1. and 3. often results in massive dps loos and sometimes a wipe for that reason.
Quick note: The ravagers are casting the frontal on where the position of the tank is after it jumps. so the tank can "bait" it in a sense to max the damage on it.

Hey - GREAT vid, thank you! Which addon shows the "raid dmg inc" pop-up? Is this really from DBM and I just never noticed that?! Or is it from something else?
Thanks for explaining that first boss, and I'm so sure many puggies have no idea. I always say that I''m going anti clock, result is the same in pugs as saying nothing. I'm sure things are different on higher keys, I'm on +10-13 on my Guardian. How long do you need to stack in that circle? For the cleansing? Does that poison totem work here?
EDIT: seems I got a Remove Corruption on my Guardian, so speccing into that for this dungeon only!
As a tank you can actually aim where that Ravager mob aims its frontal, what I do is I run to the player where the charge is aimed, and then make sure to be on the other side where my party isn't. The ravager will leap to its target and then face the tank, potentially preventing unaware people from getting oneshot.
Apparently this is noted in the comments by other people. Good work team!

1 thing about ravagers: you can LoS the jump. If the target is not in LoS when the cast finishes, it doesn't jump and doesn't recase jump, goes into breath. I think if there is ranged it'll pick ranged for jump, so can avoid that entirely
will it recast after?
@@michaelc.309 It skips the cast that was LoSd, stays in place and breathes. After a while it will attempt jumping again, so one LoS doesn't prevent all future jump attempts

Dude. You are a prot warrior god. How are you not taking damage? I feel like I am not playing correctly because there are times where I do take damage and I feel like I missed something? Maybe I'm not keeping SB 100% uptime or IP up as much as I should?
on the bird boss, if you do the wind gate first, the fire gate becomes available ~2 min into the fight, which aligns with 2min cds and so the 75% dmg increase can really be used well
or dont you do that because you think its too dangerous with the winds?
hmm i think its too dangerous with winds, but imma try it - might work out
dead key on tyrannical, if you want to try it go to tree boss and if you dont 1 shot it just leave and save the headache
amazing guide, can I ask what addon is the one that shows the party CDS next to their names in your party frames? is that an element of your elvui profile or is it something separate? I have your profile and my party cds don'w show up like in your profile. Thank you

tbh, I think this can be done more easily. I would wait a little longer with killing the tree. Right after the 2nd puddles have spawned. You get healed which basically heals aoe damage from the boss and the swirlies are away from the tree so everyone can walk in easily.

@@quaziiwow Yeah I know that you basically said something about it in your video, but I play priest and every time I do it your way I get yanked because there is just no space and priests aren't the best dashers. Anyway, you have good video's and I definitely learn something from them, but for this boss I think you are wrong. Might work for you, just not for me.
@@quaziiwow After doing it this week, it felt so much easier without tyrannical. Also made use of some nifty trinkets I got now. That little tree went down so fast it was down before the 2nd puddles of the adds even began to spawn. It's a major difference.

My question is how do I get the mobs bars that are not my current target to fade just abit so I can see my target better amongst the chaos? Is that possible? I am new but trying my best to improve and I would greatly benefit from that. Thanks in advance if anyways decides to throw me a tip.
have you tried not doing any mechanics on crawth, i killed him several times not scoring and it doesnt do much dmg at all even on a 15 key, u should try it and see for yourself, basically u just zerg him down and the damage is very healable
