Finally jumped the ship and bought a 35L Gen 4.1. My friends and I have been hesistant about investing more into homebrewing but I think part of what was keeping us from brewing more often was that our BIAB was so hands on. Looking forward to 2025, hopefully we'll make some kickass beers. Have a nice Christmas!
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a pump upgrade available for the 35L. Have experienced and seen a lot of people having transfer issues through the pump. Great video though, been thinking about ditching the built-in tubing for just 2 tubes with a TC coming out from under so I can 3 valve it with an external pump.
@@PortlyGentleman Hey, at the risk of coming over like an ass, I don't want to be pedantic I'm just another Brewzilla Gen4 35L customer that has has pump blocking issues and found the information regarding the pump super confusing. Oli, the Kegland employee running the Brewzilla user group on Facebook confirmed in one of the recent posts on there that the pump upgrade does not fit the 35L.
Yes I do you're going to need these two components www.morebeer.com/products/brewzilla-replacement-ppsu-sight-glass-tube.html?a_aid=PortlyGentleman www.morebeer.com/products/brewzilla-gen-4-sight-glass-stainless-steel-connection-kit-ball-valve-elbow.html?a_aid=PortlyGentleman
I have the 65L. I would love to see a video about using it. About adjusting the brewzilla profile for it. General thoughts. Great system. Wrapt is great to use. Another great video I would like to see. I have used Wrapt for the brewzilla, but nothing else.
I've actually not messed around much with the Whirlpool arm. Maybe I've got to get a hold of one. Let me see if I can make that happen. Also showing the profile is something I can probably do 🍻
@@PortlyGentleman I am feeling crazy. I thought I said using the steam condenser. But I guess I am wrong. I would love to see a review of the steam condenser using it / adjusting Brewfather profile to use it.
So beeing Kegland Fanboy I also have all of this items on my 65l however I never did think about replacing the valves... It would be interesting to know how much more volume the 25W pump can handle with a better valve.. 🍻 🍻
That's something maybe I could cover in a short. It is pretty significant. Like I mentioned the video, I'm really surprised that they're using the same valves over the years. They really limit flow...
Oh, I forgot.. I do use a 6,5mm to 3/8" duotight adapter and a 3/8" beer line as water line for the steam condenser because I was also worried about the weight. The gardenhose is on the floor connected with a 3/8' duotight to 1/2' threat adapter. This makes me use it wihout thinking about it.
No doubt completely re-plumbing will be a benefit.. having said that, just changing that valve gets you better flow. As I mentioned my main reason for changing it is functionality and I just don't like the stock valve....

That's awesome! It's definitely a big upgrade. I'm sure you'll make good beer. Let me know how it goes
Waiting for my brewzilla gen 4 to arrive and because of you I just spent over 100 bucks on those upgrades 😅
That's awesome! What upgrades did you go with?
You beat me to it!! I’m gonna Brewtools-ify my 65L as well. You’re the man 🍻
Hahaha lol Just the beginning I'm sure my friend 🍻
Injoy these upgrade videos since they give me things to think about
Thank you 🍻🍻
Valuable info, many thanks.
If nothing else, hopefully I was entertaining 🍻

Man, I'm sorry, I'm almost pretty certain that you can fit the bigger pump under there..

Of course 🍻🍻
Do you have the link of the sight glass?

Hi!
Worth upgrade the brewzilla or simply buy the brewtools system? What is you opinion about the two systems?
I think the two are for two very different Brewers to be honest. They both work Splendidly
@@PortlyGentleman Can you explain that please?
I've got the 35L G4 with the pro lid and I'm having trouble with the clamps not staying down. Any suggestions
Are they the new adjustable clamps? If not I recommend the upgrade
@@PortlyGentleman I only bought it a month ago so I would assume they're new ones
Then there should be a couple of nuts you can use to adjust it and make them a little bit longer or shorter as needed.
@@PortlyGentleman yeah that doesn't make a difference I already tried that
Also, you didn't replace anything upstream so the ID is still restricted - I don't see the benefit.

You could call it a Frankenzilla...
