- That's Right, I made a passable Octoberfest in only 4 days. I Fermented it with Omega lutra KVEIK at 68°f pseudo lager brewed on the BrewZilla gen 4. With pretty much every upgrade a homebrewer could want.

Home Brewing Is Good - Навчання та стиль
Grain to glass is the best. It gives the viewers a sense of weather the beer recipe is good or not.
Thank you 🍻🍻
Thanks dude! Keep the brewday videos coming!
Thanks 🍻🍻
I put a pop-socket on the clear cover for the condenser lid. They make one out of clear plastic.
Nice 🍻🍻
Hey Bradley;) Brewing on the Brewzilla Gen 4 tomorrow. Cheers for the tips;) we also have eyes on the RAPT fermentation chamber, looking good👍👀🍺👊
The chamber is awesome!
Let's hope the smaller one coming is just as good. 🍻
You're the man, Bradley! We love what you do. Cheers! 🍻
Thank you 🍻
Thank you Bradley..
🍻🍻
More beer has great kits, their helles is great
Yes they do 🍻
I like the idea of stretching the legs on a beer to get a lower ABV. It reminds me of a buddy of mine who says the pot of today is too strong, he wants to got back to the simple pot of the 70's and 80's. I think if my beer moves around between 4% and 5% I am perfectly happy. As long as beer has been around there is no way I am going to reinvent it. Great Video. Thanks for doing it. Cheers.
For sure there's a time and a place for big beers 🍺🍺
I like your videos and brew videos are nice 🙂
Thank you
Brewed with the same yeast on my Oktoberfest this year. Hard to tell the difference. Good video
Thank you 🍻
Good video, enjoyed seeing your process.
Thank you very much 🍻🍻
I’m missing the beautiful BrewTools system on this one- but It looks like the BZ did just fine. 🍻
It definitely did quite well 🍻
Great video - thanks for sharing your craft! Love the camera work.
LoL Thank you very much, I appreciate it 🍻🍻
Happy October!! ❤
Yes
Great video, cheers!!
🍻🍻thank you
Love your brew day vids, please keep them coming! :)
I've definitely got a few more on the way Thank you 🍻
More brewzilla content plzzzz
Interested in seeing a CIP video if you can
CiP was last week there's definitely more content on the way.

Great video, I love the BZ gen 4 and rapt bt probe. I do have a difficult time dialing in temps still though. Working on it. Thanks for sharing.
It is pretty good I plan on doing a video covering dialing in the PID and other options.
Great! I have tried several PID settings also. I look forward to what you came up with. Thanks
It will surely be interesting. Trust me 😉
Love the brewdays. G2G's are my favs. Especially with Gen4's... I have the bluetooth and pill as well. that fermentation chamber looks nice. I want to hear about the pro lid so I'm waiting on the review. I have my eye on that one.
Thank you very very much 🍻
I just busted out my own Marzen recently. It was may 1st lager and I did it right. I brewed it in March and lagered it this whole time. It's a pretty beer. I have really wanted to try the recipe I used with Lutra to compare. I just might do it soon.
Do it! 🍻🍻
Lutra gets acidic. Ok if thats what you like. Me personally no
Nicely done Bradley. A 4.5% ABV Oktoberfest beer will for sure help fight against the Sunday morning hangover! I take it that you adjusted the hops to keep the intended bitterness?
It definitely will do that. Once I had the modified recipe in brewfather I decided that the hopping was fine for my taste.
After the beer was finished I further verified it works for me 🍻
One emission in the video I did a pretty elaborate mesh schedule, at least for myself. In an attempt to achieve a fuller body it actually worked a little better than I had thought it would.
Love the brew day videos! I’m in the market for a brewzilla gen 4 so can’t wait to see your review and what you think! A video on your brewery would be cool too! Thanks 🍻
Thank you what size are you looking at ?
I’m thinking the 65L cause I want to do 10 gal batches and 220v.
I think it'll treat you well I highly recommend though bluetooth mash probe right out of the gate.
Okay is it more accurate then what comes with the gen. 4?
Not necessarily know, but if you want to know what the temperature of the mash and the malt pipe actually is and control the heating elements accordingly, it's the only
way. I will definitely cover this thoroughly in the review 🍻
Love that Mini-Uni in the RAPT Fermentation Chamber, nice simple temp control and I'm guessing the cleanup on that vessel is pretty easy?
You know it! it's as easy as it can get 🍻
Portly, great review/ idea! As it looks like you are using the PID, curious what Gen 4 PID setting and mash power level has worked for you. And, has the diffuser plate lowered your efficiency? Thank you!
W34/70 at 75F 15psi fast, clean, won't get acidic like Lutra
To my palette, this one doesn't have any citrus flavor. I think at higher temperature is it becomes an issue.
Been awhile! A brew day
Too long probably 🍻
Cool vid. Glad your back at it! I’d love to get your perspective, I’m using a brewtools b40 now and am actually considering switching to a brewzilla 65 as I want to have a bigger volume and switch to 240, hard to argue with how affordable the brewzilla is and really I just want a simpler, faster, no fuss brewday and easier clean and immersion chilling. so I’d love to hear your perspective, could I still love it coming from a more premium system?
That's a tricky one to answer. It depends on what exactly you like most about Brewtools.
If it's the quality and extreme attention to detail. Don't get me wrong the BrewZilla is extremely good It's just not on the same level. You could easily switch your B40 to 240 volt as well as add an immersion chiller. The volume I suspect would be your limiting factor. It is quite possible to make a very simple BT set up. Having said that today the BrewZilla is the only other all in 1 brewing system I would consider.
Bradly, what grain crush gap setting do you use for your Brewzilla G4 65L?
I'm curious what the minimum batch size of finished beer on the 65 L system?
Have you ever tried the 5.2 pH stabilizer. I use more beer kits and add this to my filtered water. Seems to work well
My Brewzilla 4 sowed up last week, can’t wait to try it.
Great suggestion!
Great video! Where did you get your fermentation chamber? It looks awesome and I would like to get better at controlled temp fermentation for my homebrews.
It's produced by kegeland distributed by morebeer in the United States. There's a link in the description. As well as a complete review video on my channel. 🍻🍻
Another awesome video! Save some of the Oktoberfest for next DOZE meeting!?
I swear I will make it to a meeting 💯
If there's any left I definitely will 🍻
Great vid-- Q: where did you get that glassware? Looks amazing!
Thank you 🍻
Nice video.
How long this beer is going to be in mini uni sitting on the yeast cake?
Or you just going to enjoy this one in few days?
Start to finish. It was in there for 7 days cuz I was feeling lazy 🍻🍻
The whirlpool arm works great.
How much water do you use with the steam condenser? I have been brewing outside for the last three years after I moved to five gallon and ten gallon all grain batches. Being able to brew in the garage would be awesome, especially during the pits of summer and the coldest parts of winter.
I am looking forward to the mini tap review. Might just be the prefect solution for me.
That's good to know. I definitely want to try one out. I exclusively use the condenser. I don't have ventilation in the new brewery. Largely because I realize after I got my first condenser ventilation wasn't really needed anymore. I personally think it's the only way to go.. If you're making UA-cam videos it can make it a little less exciting, but well worth it.
Would love to see a review on the condenser
How did you find the mini Nukatap and pieces to make this work? I’m definitely interested in doing that as my picnic tap broke
Kegeland has just released them. Depending on your market. They may not be available yet. I've got them direct for testing 🍻
@@PortlyGentleman ahh alright thanks, I like in New York, just searching normal US retailers
I expect more beer. Will have them soon. You could always reach out to them on IG and ask for an ETA.
Hi, I have the same BrewZilla and I purchase the malt already grinded here in the local shop.
But I never had so high flow during recirculation, usually I need to close a lot to not "get flooded" with the worth.
You never had this issue?
I already did 15 batches like this, always with the same behavior.
Thank you!
I crush my own for this specific reason
@@PortlyGentleman yes that's probably the reason. Which grinder do you use?
You fermented way too low of a temp. Lutra likes it HOT. 95F or higher gets you the best lager character.
Strange that higher temperatures. I noticed a prominent citrus flavor. For me this is not desirable 🍻
That glass! I love it! Where can I get some??
Thank you 🍻🍻🍻
