I entered LIVE a bit late, so, again, I thank you for recording your shows. I am closer to finding the purple that others see in landscapes, and I learned to consider the sky holes' complexity in art and in life! Kami is a great teacher, and I always enjoy Charlie.
Great demo Kami! HIGHLY recommend both her book, "Color Relativity", and her Planal Fruit. Both are amazing tools for artists who are ready to deepen their understanding of Color, Light, and Form.

Ho Ho Ho ha ha ha … all the way from “Big Lagoon” California born and raised right here in Humboldt County California. Seventy four years old that’s me. Thank you for sharing. Every time I think that I am ready to expose myself (my art) my darling sweetheart reals me back in. Thank you I approve. acmechris. I have a problem finishing anything. Starting can be difficult as well. I have often said “tell me why” . I think that you’re the first one. Thank you one more time.
Watching after this was filmed. Wondering why she doesn’t tone the canvas??? Just curious???
She probably feels she doesn’t need it. The reasons to tone a canvas is either to harmonize by letting the tone enter into every colour, which might not be desirable. Or, to paint onto a slightly damp surface, but didn’t she say it was oil-primed ground? :o
