Here’s one for you- 100%P&T. I appealed for an earlier effective date through HLR. I received a letter saying the VA found a duty to assist error and my claim is being sent back for additional development. I think they’re gonna try to send me to a CP exam for something I’m already rated for and didn’t ask for an increase for. Then they’re gonna try to reduce me.

The decision to remand the claim should make it clear which disability or disabilities will be addressed in the remand. Also this video might be helpful: ua-cam.com/video/zMt_jhRRzWA/v-deo.html

could you let me know what the end-result was for your claim? I received 100%P&T after my initial claim was rated at 90%, however, I wasn't satisfied with the back-pay date. The fact that my DOS was 8-21-2021; my Intent to file was 05-#-2022 and my 90% came as of sept #, 2022. I go to my VA coordinator who tells me he doesn't want to support me appealing the effective date, because I got 100% as of Mar 2023. So in turn, I do a HLR two weeks ago for an earlier effective date. Now, Im waiting for the HLR but Im concerned I may have opened myself up to a rating decrease, possibly
