A Simple(ish) Guide To 2023 Indy NXT Season

- It may have changed it's name, yet the series formerly known as Indy Lights has on paper got one of the most exciting seasons the Championship has had in recent years, ahead of it. So here's a simple (I hope) guide, to help you understand everything you need to know for the upcoming season.

Can’t wait for what Nolan Siegel will cook up this year after watching him in AsLMS
No experience in LMP2 at all and drives the wheels of his Oreca 07 while going wheel-to-wheel with Beel Jani. That's deffinatly a way to get yourself noticed!
And of course... Keeping it pinned next to the one driver i don't name that was also in that racing, forcing him off
Nolan did a great job in the LMP2 car, in the Asian Le Mans Series this year.

That race was phenomenal.
I think with Chadwick it's gonna be more than just a 1 year thing. She's gotta learn the car, American style tracks and of course ovals from basically scratch, she will be down on rolling start experience too. Judge her ability on her performance next year, let her settle this year. Of course if she is competitive then that's a clear message that she is at this level.
Perhaps the 2nd year will be the key season for her in terms of her career in single seaters.
Have been rooting for James roe. Good to see an Irish driver doing well
I hope for the best for Chadwick but W Series isn't the most competitive series so it's not gonna be anywhere as easy
If she can be good here, she might become a decent Indycar driver.
@@emdotrod i do agree, probably gonna be the next big female in Motorsport since Danica Patrick. (Ignoring her NASCAR career)
She's clearly got the pace and the talent, but she's probably gonna struggle a bit due to the lack of on-track competition. If she can get used to it, she's got the speed to have a good career
@@DankBoyy00 I wish Danica stayed in Indycar. She was quite good in it and it would have been a good commercial boost for the series to have a competitive female driver, such a shame
@@joshanderson9391 i don't fully understand what her thinking process was either, not in the sense of "you can only do one thing" but in the sense that it's completely different to IndyCar, F1 drivers struggle doing NASCAR let alone an indy driver. I suppose they do ovals too but still not the same

oh yeah indyc NCT is on sky however as you said its on during the race so is on sky action, However if you have Sky Glass like i have you would know you can't record with this version of sky why? i don't know.
Indy Lights being rebranded to NXT and the Indy Pro series being stripped of their Indy branding is something I still don't understand.
I personally don't agree with the name changes either.
My pick after 2 races. P1 Rasmussen P2 Siegel P3 Foster. And I think Reece gold will do good top 5 after he changes teams
Yeah. Not a fan of IndyCar timings this weekend. Clashing with F1 directly for NXT and being immediately after F1 for the actual race annoys me. With F1 rising in America, a slight delay to that would make sense. A red in the F1 race kills the IndyCar TV ratings.
Hopefully, the ratings will do well for the Indycar race. Certainly, a dramatic one.
i know in europe we can watch the indynxt stream for free but can we also rewatch races somehow?

Minor national series is F3 at best.
Yes there needs to be more ovals, but sadly I think if roger could get away with it, he’d put the Indy 500 on the road course and call it the Indy 500K and call it a day……

IndyCar would sooner be made the Indy500 alone stripped of its series as a standalone
THAT is a complete load of crap. Penske has too much respect and history for the 500 to do that. The only reason there aren't more ovals on the schedule is because of how hard it's been to attract fans on-site to most of them. If it comes down to it, the 500 will be the ONLY oval on the schedule.
