There is a great book called “Beyond Wheat and Weeds” by Claudia Orgill about alternative remedies and includes photos a medical conditions, symptom tables and many many herbal and other remedies
I like the title "The Gift of Fear". I have "PTSD" because I was stalked years ago, and I'm keeping it. A few years ago I was followed home from work at 11 p.m. by four men. If I hadn't been "hyper-alert" I wouldn't have noticed them in time. Also, I've intentionally used fear to maintain alertness when I had a dangerous job to do.
Excellent content...I haven't seen any other UTUBE content that even comes close to this. Very informative and will help many, many ppl. Thank you, JR. 👍😊
I've read through the 'Fox Fire' series of books and though much of the information can be a bit dated, there is still a wealth of knowledge that would be applicable for the modern prepper. I highly suggest acquiring these books, if for no other reason than that they make interesting reading.
A great gardening book to have is The Vegetable Gardener’s Bible by Edward C. Smith. Also, Seed Sowing and Saving by Carole B. Turner is an excellent book to have on hand. For Herbal reference The Herbal Medicine Maker’s Handbook by James Green is a great book. For buildings and project ideas for a homestead a good book would be 40 Projects for Building Your Backyard Homestead by David Toht.
Survival books are so underated and many times not even brought up when talking about prepping. While others are talking about their seed banks and weapons I'm talking about books on edible plants....I mean what are you gonna eat until your seeds start producing?? Lol
Awesome! I need to order a few of these on my next payday! The Jim Cobb one and I too really like MD Creekmoore.😎👍I just bought One Second After, haven't read it yet. Can't wait!😁👍🌈
Awesome. I actually just got my Prepper's Long-Term Survival Guide and I also got The Survival Medicine Handbook 4th Edition (2021). Which I actually found about from Canadian Prepper and here you have it in your video too. :) I have been thinking about the Bug Out Bag book. I think that will be a good book. Oh, I heard you mention about the No Doctor, No Dentist. The Survival Medicine Handbook 4th Edition has individual sections, or Chapters that cover that. So it's basically get it all in this book kind of deal. I just got it last night so I only got a chance to skim through it. But I am really glad I picked it up.
It really is. It does a good job suggesting items without getting too specific when it isn’t necessary. That is really helpful after the book ages a little bit.
The All New Square Foot Gardening by Mel Bartholomew, for pets I like The First Aid Companion for Dogs and Cats by Amy Shojai (although it's now 20 years old, so could do with some updating), and I recently started reading Herbal Medic: A Green Beret's Guide to Emergency Medical Preparedness and Natural First Aid by Sam Coffman, which looks promising. Keep up the great videos!
Still waiting on those gardening recomendations. Sadly from your list only one has been translated to my native language so just pdfs in english for me
Preppers are interesting people, it's a fun and interesting life mission, but if it's "HEALTHY", there are healthy people in it, they mainly act in case of disasters, elements, etc. But when I hear that my country's government wants to murder me, we already say about a psychiatrist, and that shouldn't be about that. It's important to have health, and it's mental. (A046)
Hey, I REALLY appreciate your comments about my books. So glad to hear you've enjoyed them, thanks so much!
No problem Jim! Thank you so much for commenting! It means a lot!
Man it makes me happy to see someone in the community that is so grounded… books, tools, skills, seeds, traps, fishing, entertainment and medical
Thanks Richard!
