A kid with a survival whistle is unlikely to survive…….the parents.🤣
Thanks! This old lady just ordered new fix a flat to replace 10 year old one. Added other stuff to wish list.
You should watch project farms video about flat tire products, Apparently fix a flat is terrible and slime is way better. I’ve never used fix a flat but project farm is very thorough with his testing and I would definitely trust his results. I bought slime brand by chance and haven’t had a reason to try anything else because slime has worked for me. Love the content. Keep it coming!!!
Winter is coming. We have cut double sided Mylar 1/4” foam insulation to fit the windows. It fits nicely played flat under the back seat of the truck and in the trunk of the car. With a window cracked, it Makes the passenger compartment a nice little cabin. Keep the get home bags inside a small black rolling suitcase. With tinted windows and a black interior it is Hard to see on the floorboard. If we need to walk it is much less noticeable than carrying backpacks and we can get the bags out and get of road whenever we feel the need.
Good advice gents! Agree that paper maps and a compass are essential. GPS is fine when it works. Also, warm weather clothing; being stuck in a rapidly cooling vehicle in winter is no joke! And don't forget water! 🇬🇧
I have a ziploc gallon bag in my vehicle, my daughter’s vehicle, her husband and my son’s vehicle. It has a small adjustable wrench, Philips and straight screwdrivers, zip ties, a roll of tape, a pair of pliers, an air chuck, an air pressure gauge, some gloves, and a small waterproof emergency strobe light.
The belt tensioner on my jeep requires a 3/8 inch drive ratchet or breaker bar to release the tension in order to remove or install the belt. My standard ratchets are too short to put enough leverage on the tensioner to be able to easily move it to release tension. I didn't want to take the one from my tool chest so I went to Harbor Freight and picked up an inexpensive 15 inch long breaker bar just for that purpose and keep it in the jeep. I also replaced the belt when I had to replace the alternator. The old one had some age cracks and had seen better days but was still serviceable, so I decided to keep it in the jeep as well just in case, it may be old but it'll get me to an auto parts store or mechanic if the one on the engine breaks.
Amazing, I just happened to review my vehicle kit yesterday!
I like fix a flat in case I am in the middle of nowhere just to fill a low tire.
I wish I was as prepared as you guys.
Stop wishing and start doing! If money is the problem, start with a few items per month. You can do it!
Yea just buy 1 thing every payday. After a while you gotta stop yourself from buying items . Start with stuff around your house.
I will say that I have more than 1 MTM Case Guard box. They have many shapes and sizes and work great!
Where can I order that trauma kit roll from?
Lots of great advice and ideas!! Thanks for another great video!! And, Robbie, thank you for serving our country!!❤️🇺🇸❤️
Ratchet straps are not tow straps, they are used to tie things down with. I’m a woman and know that. Cmon guys 😂
Check your new(er) car; the spare tire isn't included. You may need to purchase a replacement "doughnut" tire.
Oohrah
10% to Jesus, another 10% for survival gear. By the time an emergency happens both God and your preppness will come in greatly.
Jesus is the most overlooked prep by most these days.
More Jesus but you’ve got the idea
@@jackmccaulleyHe was making a tithing reference but I understand what you mean too.
Can you provide the link for the seller of that luxrul bag? Thanks,I have no qualms about buying luxrul .
I can't thank you enough for all of these videos. Warm wishes - my family appreciates you! We are really working on being WAY better prepared, and thanks to you for the information.
Hope you are safe from the hurricane. Prayers for you both and your families.
With maps ya can go to truck stops and get maps there. Plus here in oregon I have forestry and blm bureau of land management has road maps of the local area and the state.
There are navigation apps where you can download maps for offline use.
You guys are havin too much fun. Very impressed brothers. Been watching your videos all day and it's been a pleasure. I've learned a number of things and am glad with how advanced ive found myself by your standards.
Hope that everyone down yonder is OK!
I know that you are as prepared as can be, but things happen. (Air hug)
You stated that you would give the link for the emergency medical kits but you did not. Sarah could/should make a list of all the links that you say you will link in the video so you don’t forget.
Speaking of kids, when we went to Six Flags my dad always made sure to point out a place to meet in case we all got separated. We knew where to go if lost.
