As a teen girl this is true. I have personally come across creepy males and they think its cool to date younger girls because I’m naive, at times stupid, am obedient and easy to manipulate. I remember when I was 18 working at Nando, this new manager asked how old I was. When I told him he said that "18 is a RIPE age". I never felt so disgusted and objectified in my life. When he asked me that question, it was when I was getting ready to clock out and I worked a double mind you. Personal experience of walking down a street and two older men ogling me. I was in middle school at that time. I didn't want to acknowledge it but the person I was walking with did. I always looked younger than my age so they knew I was definitely a child. I've also was cornered by a patient who whipped out his junk in front of me. It was such a mortifying thing especially since the place I worked didn't do anything and it happened to other women there before he left. I remembered being so scared and shocked before getting mad and telling him off. I saw him a year or so later and it set chills down my spine.
I remember I didn't hit puberty till 15, and the different treatment then and now?! I've become waaayyyy more confident in myself because of my height (5'9) since I didn't have older men cat calling me every 10 minutes. There was a time I was 13 and some men asked MY MOTHER if I was her sister, after watching me for the longest time.

My friend told me about a 21 year old guy who asked for her number.
