This video is the key to understanding that this gun the part you need an FFL for is the FCU. What is so cool is that if you have purchased either variant 365 OG or XL, you can simply buy the alternative grip module, alternate slides or barrels and simply plop the FCU into it. This means in a matter of minutes you can go from deep concealed to XL. you can literally have 4 or 5 different configurations if you have alternate grip modules, slides barrels or triggers. Truly dynamic. I'm so happy i purchased this platform. One thing that should be noted is you may need XL and original mags if you plan on swapping out XL grip module for the original smaller module and he did overlay that message, but overall truly amazing video.

Been looking for this grip module forever. Finally found it, then the spectre comp and macro come out. I personally like the spectre comp. Was just on Sigs site to see about a spectre comp slide. $500. Nope, not doing that. Would be awesome if a company made a comp slide that didn’t cost that much. I’m thinking $200 max. I know, keep dreaming.

Sig Guy, I know this video was 3 years ago, but, i just saw it. I loved that grip module and also the mag release and ordered them both. I've never done any work on my firearms until watching this video and also the one you made to change the mag release. I've always been worried about messing something up and blowing myself up..lol.. These videos are AMAZING and slow and patient and informative. Thank You so much for step by step and the tips and tricks and not assuming everyone is Navy SEAL gun and a gunsmith! I don't know if you'll ever see this and anyone else who might can answer my question: Does the new mag release ever wear in or get easier to eject the mag? The standard stock release that came with it was hard to push and release was sorta meh. The new extended release is just as hard and doesn't eject or click, the mag just kinda falls out and i wanted to know if this was "normal." Again, thank you very much for the great videos!
I am very glad to have found you. BTW I just checked and 365 grip modules are currently out of stock. I’m in Massachusetts so I have to have a thumb safety, and Armory Craft won’t have any p365 xl grip modules with safety until Sig makes it available to them. They don’t make that model yet. I went to the factory store last Friday. Great video.
BIG LOU Massachusetts compliance laws. External safety or a ten pound trigger pull, and no more than 10 rounds in the magazine. The P365 is Mass compliant but the P365xl is not yet MA compliant. There are not many hand guns that are MA compliant.

Since the P365 X has (I believe) the same slide as the regular 365 but the grip of the XL. Could we put a 365X module on a regular 365 and essentially turn it into a X?
I received my P365XL earlier this week and it made a squeaky sound when performing a dry fire pull of the trigger to the stop. With your videos and knowledge sharing, I felt comfortable enough to take the gun apart (FCU removal). A little oil on the trigger spring solved it! Couldn't have done it without your videos! THANK YOU!
Mine arrived grip module damage, my P365 X. There is a gap between slide and grip module. Slide was wobbling and rattling. The problem is the grip module inside, where it connects to the FCU, replace the grip module problem solved.

Tim McGrath the GG modules are nice. Definitely a step up from factory. The Armory crafts are excellent though. They should have more in stock very soon. They are currently redesigning them. Almost done.
I have the Wilson Combat grip module. The cost was about 75.00 including the extra & optional Tungeston weight kit which I think was 20.00-I think it was worth it as it added about 20 grams of weight to the grip module.
For big hands the standard 365 with the XL grip module is the best of the 2 worlds, I fell firm and complete with the 12RD, the Hogue grip, visually make sense.
And you can run a 15 round too right? I have a p365 and it doesn’t fit my hand well. Have the Lima laser too. Wondering if it will fit on the XL module (the 365 slide and Lima laser on XL module)

Yeah but the safety lever and tiny pin/spring sell for about $140 now. They used to be $30 when there wasn't shortage. Now the reg p365 sells for $700 on GB

I asked you if i should send my P320 in for the upgrade a few months back you said i should even tho i had the Apex trigger installed, and you were so right and Apex gave me credit for the trigger and i bought the new one for the upgraded trigger and a upgraded trigger bar. I must say i do like the Sig trigger better than the Apex but with the Apex trigger bar,now I'm waiting on the Armory Craft flat trigger. How does the gray guns module fair with wear? Holstering it does the cerakote wear off? It says it does on their website so I wondered if a $200 investment was worth it since I need a manual safety cut out as well.

SAS owner, though I'm replacing the SAS slide-catch with the standard P365 lever, and I'm wondering if I would still need to modify thr grip module to fit the SAS slide?
Very informative, especially for an excited new sig owner! The extended mag release is something I am considering because my wife has a little difficulty sometimes getting to it. Is that a difficult thing to do yourself ? My only experience is with the glock 43x, thanks in advance community

Just got my ceracoated AC XL grip module and installed perfectly using your video. One question though, it seems the ceracoating on the inside of the mag well causes the mags to not drop free compared to my non coated frame. Is that your experience? Any correction?
I just installed the gray guns grip module on my p365. Really like the Amory Craft one but they were all out for awhile. Really impressed at both Grayguns and Amory Craft. Customer service on both are incredible. Anyways, I would really like your opinion of the true precision barrels. I was thinking of trying one but want to know if it is worth the money. This is for my ccw pistol.

I use the P365 grip on the XL slide when I wear shorts and T-shirt. The grip is less noticeable about 3/4 inch.

Sig really has the whole ergonomic thing down pat, my 226 with e2 grips is perfection , I put a limbsaver rubber wrap around on it and it is superb.

Are the rails different from the stock XL frame? I had to buy a TD rail for my XL. Does your frame have the same issue or is it good to go?

Yes i tried both. Both are great triggers but the grayguns felt more comfortable to me. I d like to try their curved trigger. I heard it is awesome

Be nice to have a bigger grip front to back. Keep the same width, but give it a bit more front/back grip depth.
