I hate to tell you that you just started down the rabbit hole on what a p365 can be. Once you get into Icarus, FDEZ WORKS ,DPM recoil kits etc... you find out a built p365 can compete with staccato xc . Enjoy the journey I have
I agree that the Wilson grip modules are better fitting in the hand due to their thickness. However, the whole point of the thinner Sig modules is for better concealment.
Thanks for helping me save money! I wondered what made the Wilson grips different. Since I pocket-carry my P365, the thicker grips would be counterproductive.
Hogue grip sleeve for the XL.It makes a world of a difference. It's not as good as the willson combat but it definitely helps a lot. Very affordable for only $12 it's definitely worth the try.
I had a Glock 19 and 43 and 17 and got rid of all of them.. Didn't like the way they look, felt, or shot... I love my Hellcat, and my 320 and 365 sigs much better
"Lack of a drop safety makes me nervous." What Every modern firearm has some mechanism to prevent it from discharging if dropped. Here in California (Don't get me started!), we're only allowed to buy handguns from an approved roster. to be approved, the manufacturer has to submit three samples to a state-approved lab, to e tested to destruction. A drop test is part of that process. The P365 is approved for sale here.
Just got my sig 3 days ago and I’m so glad I’m not the only one. My Glock 23 and my xd9 full size fit like a glove in my hand but my 365 feels like a awkward brick even considering how much smaller the grip is. And your thumb not having anywhere to go bothers me. Wish i would have went with the hellcat
I was considering the hellcat because it feels good in the hand but I keep hearing it has more recoil than the p365 so now I’m considering the p365 with an extended grip
My edc was a p365x but thentgot the Macro and sold the X, just stayed with my Wilson combat xl grip module and if I want deep concealment just drop the shorter grip 😎👌
The p365 is drop safe… 🙄 the trigger doesn’t have a trigger safety so it’s possible to have a malfunction where the trigger is pulled but that’s not a drop safety.
How abrasive are the sides of the Wilson grip versus the original? I’m looking at getting it for my 365x but was worried it would be uncomfortable to appendix carry since the sig grip is pretty coarse as it is and chews up my belly. And does the extra width affect concealability?
I don’t think it affects concealability at all, but it improves shootability! And I haven’t had any issues with it scratching my stomach at all! Thanks for watching
Thanks, the Sig handles are rough when it rubs against your side while carrying or even practicing my draw I notice it began to wear away the the skin on my thumb after so many reps.
The thing about wilson combat modules is that you can't get the mag plates, too match . I've tried Armory craft ,but after two years thinking they would ware in 12 rds will not fit in mag with Armorys base plates, and with the 11 rds packed in gun is hard to rack. So I was messing with the gun after range time cleaning I tried the stock base plates on mag in Wilson's grip, and problem solved . With that there is a large open area at base for trash to collect. Any info that may help or did I waste money?
no it sucks. you have to change your grip to swap mags and the pinky rest slides around and makes you constantly aware that youre gripping the mag, not the gun. its awful. im here because im ordering an x length frame for mine
Does anyone know of a grip module that’ll work with the California compliant 10 round mag? Or someone who sells a pinned 10 round mag to fit another grip?
@@jessearista4803 $60 in new condition. I tried it and it was a little too aggressive for my taste so I never used it. It fits any 365 but it's the standard 12rd mag size

You just put me on good looking
I just built that exact gun lol. It’s an amazing shooter!
Just started my foray into this 😂😂 I’m enjoying it so far, definitely felt a little overwhelmed at first.
I had the Wilson grip for a while & went back to the factory grip. It lines the sights up quicker for me. To each their own
Same!

That's how I feel about it.. if you want thicker, why did you get a thin gun to begin with? Lol
@@zackcourtney5311 To have the comfort of a M&P/Glock-sized handgun with the shootability and capacity of a 2011

and this does nothing to change that
The EXACT video I was looking for. Even busted out the Glock 26 comparison. My man!

I run that grip sleeve and it's the best
I agree the grip sleeve feels awesome
I also agree Hogue rubber grips are the way to go!!
I like the hogue on my 365x. Feels great and seems to soak up some recoil.
My biggest concern is holster compatibility, don’t wanna shell out close to $100 for a holster just for an upgrade making it useless.

The 17 round sig mag also fits into the newer wcp365xl module.
Get a manual safety and Wilson grip module for a safety. Every P365 supports the manual safety.
Thats exactly the same issue i have with the p365 grip. It is way to skinny/small. I need a grip more along the size of the m&p shield or shield plus.

For anyone looking. Look at the sharps bros grip module for the x. I just purchased mine and couldn’t be happier. 10x better than the stock and Wilson
for 300 bucks it better be!
you should try magguts +2 mag kits they’re basically same size and add 2 rounds to each mag
What do you mean it doesn't have an internal safety?
Thanks for the video. Period I have been looking at the wilson for a while now. That is the green that you have correct?
Awesome video can’t wait to get mine.

Boy. You have big fingers. I fit all 3 very comfortably on the regular p365 grip with the little mag tail.
I've seen the xdm fail before because the backstrap safety failed and locked the gun up.
I’ll have to check out the Wilson grip

I am a bit confused. After all of that, did you basically end up with a 12 round, G26, with no trigger safety? At least the P365X comes optic-ready.
It has a drop safety

We need a 2023 update!
I have the X…which model WC lower did you end up using?
Dang son what you do go out and buy all the wilson combat frames??
Haha they feel so good I might have to!
@@spnfirearms lol well if you end up not using the original and want to let it go lmk i want a fde frame to match my g19x
I want a 5 inch barell on a subcompact grip. Ideas?
Is the p365 compact a polymer frame? It says on the sight it's an alloy frame with polymer grips.
Sell me that FDE 365 frame SPN. lol I'll put it on my .380
Haha I got you!
Does the Wilson fit in standard holsters?
So I have a p365x what Wilson module will give me the flush 12 like the p365x default grip
Yes! And it’s so ergonomic
WC P365xl
Just go buy 365 tach ops and sell all that other stuff.
Does the regular sig 365 with a 12 round magazine feel the same as the X version? I plan on getting the tac pac soon

Lol you get a small concealable pistol and then you make it bigger lol and fatter lol 🤣 at that point just buy Glock 26 lol
Well you can always use the larger module for winter/fall carry and use the smaller for summer and spring time.
it doesn’t make it any less concealable. What’s a Glock?

which do you like?

Gonna have to get an Icarus grip module to rest those big toe thumbs on.
way overpriced
