This version of Wings is pure perfection. My interpretation is a song about deep love but also the pain of loss. This song was played at my wife's funeral who was sadly taken from this world at the age of 45 by cancer. She listened to this song in times of immense pain and healing during our journey, and it was so fitting that it was the song that was played when she finally came to rest. Sweet dreams my angel, until we dance to this song again together x

This song reminds me of the relationship I have with my best friend of 20 years.. The lyrics are just everything our relationship is about. Makes this song even more special, is seeing Rosie Doonan in the video. My best friend and I used to sing one of her songs 'That Boy' until we could not sing any more. Such a beautifully significant song for me - it makes me cry happy tears. Many people go through life and don't experience anything near what me and Tasha have.... I feel very lucky.
