Sunday's best Ms. Alice!! :) thank you for this video!! I pray you have a safe & absolutely amazing trip!! So excited to see what you do and buy!!
Thank you Nessa!! 🫶🏻
I got a scalprum after I saw yours. I'm so glad I did. She was so tiny when I got her and I absolutely love her!! She has grown 2 leaves since I've had her and they sized up each time. She's only about a third of the size of yours, but she'll get there.
She will get there!! 💪🏻
It was a pleasure meeting you at IAS!!! Thank you for giving us content after such an eventful weekend 😅
I loved meeting everyone this weekend!! Hope you’re able to decompress after all of that chaos haha!
I love how generous the Canadian plant girlies are! Great way to create a sense of community in this hobby
These are some of the best selection of plants and anthuriums I’ve seen in a while. No wonder they make you so happy. They make me happy too, and they’re not even mine!
Hello Alice, new subscriber question! I’ve watched lots of your videos. I’m wondering if I grow Anthu in semi-hydro condition, will normal (lava, perlite, worm casting, orchid, coal) mix work? Thank you very much. I hope you have sometime to help me with this
a supplies video would be everything
I have a heperiza and grow it upside down , keep moss round the hole and soil doesn’t come out, also grow it over water or high humidity. Mine is over the kitchen sink, had it for 4 yrs doing great
Growing it over the sink is such a lovely idea! None of the sinks in my entire house have any light 😔
I wish you get more different plants so I can watch you more and not to get confused. I don't own any of the plants that you like and have. To me all od them look the same, but I like your vidoes so much I keep watching ans getting more confused.😂❤
Your voice and the way you talk is so calming and your videos are so nice. I wish you the best. ❤(please get other plants too. Ficus elastica, seropegia, manjula...something.😂)
😂😂😂
I so appreciate that you’re here even though our collections are so different 🫶🏻
Same. I have zero anthurium. And they… kinda all look similar to me too… You and Charmaine are just fun to hang out with and, someday, I will have the humidity for these glorious plants. **sigh** 🤗
Don’t get me wrong, I want them, but when you know you can’t have something you don’t really want to pay too much attention to it or ya might be a lil’ jelly. When I can have them, I’m afraid I’ll be obsessed.
Thanks for sharing all your joy inducing plants! It's always the best seeing raw planty joy!! You're doing the cool travelling thing now, can't wait to hear more about how it went!!!
The prettiest crystallinum 😍
I have a clarinervium hybrid I got for cheap off a sketchy online dealer, and I think it's some mutant or a mystery hybrid it has perfectly round leaves, and tends to curl the edges up like a cup shape, although the newest leaf didn't cup and is just round and kinda bumpy how anthuriums can do. I love him, can't wait to see how he matures, at this rate I feel like I should sell him to tissue culture if he keeps being this cool
stunning stunning plants, as always! Is crystallinum black same as crystallinum dark form? Somehow i cant find any black for sale
I always love seeing you and your beautiful collection 🥰
Thank you for this video. I was feeling sorry for myself that I can't go to IAS and your video gave e a little planty fix and made me feel better.
I'm so jealous I wanna go to IAS, or damn even one nursery with more unusual plants. Only have lowes and home Depot and one landscape plant chain 😭
Beautiful
Now, half of my anthurium collection is from Randi , thanks to you! 😂
you are just like your plants, equally beautiful 🥰🥰
Omg you’re Ace is flowering 🥹🖤👏
OH YEAH I almost forgot about that 😂 I swear IAS has wiped my brain clean
@@youdontevengrowhere 🤣😛🤍
love everything! 🎉❤
TEELL LME EVERYTHINGGGG
It doesn’t help to cut off the leaves to protect from the a-pox?
What I gathered from Amanda is that cutting the old leaves off will make it appear on the newer ones faster! I haven’t tested this out for myself yet but since she’s been dealing with it for years I’m following her lead 😆
Has anyone proven that "acepox" is actually a fungus? I don't think it is. In the US, there are plant clinics at universities that can diagnose fungal, bacterial, or pests or anything wrong. Someone should send in some "acepox" leaves to see what the actual problem is.
Have you come across anything to suggest that it’s not a fungal issue? I don’t know whether anyone has sent it in for testing but I have heard multiple accounts of growers stopping the pox using consistent and aggressive anti-fungal treatments. My guess is that either A) people aren’t invested enough in their personal plants to bother with the testing process or B) because fosetyl-al has been reported to fix the issue people have deduced that the issue is fungal
@youdontevengrowhere all I have I have is my own anecdote when I spent like a year fighting an issue with some of my philodendrons that I was sure was a fungal or bacterial issue. Finally I learned about the plant clinics and sent in some samples and it came back as a non-biological agent. Also I have an df ace x pap which does the same thing and I haven't been able to cure it with any fungicide so far. I have tried physan20, phyton 27, copper. I haven't tried the one you mentioned though. I think I will probably send in some leaf samples of that plant now that it's finally big enough to prop. I'm not trying to throw shade or anything I'm just wondering if everyone is barking up the wrong tree like I did.
Good to know that phyton didn’t work for you - I have phyton 27 and have it halfheartedly on a to do list to try it on my ace but maybe I don’t need to 😆 If you ever end up sending your specimen in for testing I know the community would love to know what the lab results show!!
Oh my god. Agreed, too cute. TOO cute. It’s like when you want to eat your own baby but, awe, you can’t! Because that would be cannibalism.
I’m fine!
I’m dying at your line of logic 🤣🤣
@@youdontevengrowhere Yeah… if someone else could corroborate that would be great. Sometimes they are so cute they need to be snarfed. Kiiiiinda like how that first plant was so cute it needed to have leaves torn apart… Anyhoo! 🤗
Such stunning plants!! 🖤 I've recently fallen harddddd for dark anthuriums, but they're so pricey for a lot of the ones on my wishlist lol
Happy Sunday Alice ☺️
Happy Sunday Shelby!! Thank you for being here as always ❤️
@@youdontevengrowhere thank you for always making awesome content! ❤️ I hope IAS is fun!! ☺️

I wish someone enjoyed pothos and snake plants more. I know a lot of people talk about allocatia, anthurium monstera and fiddle fig. Which I also love but I feel like the earlier two get the short end.
I'd look at Plants by Melissa's channel for pothos appreciation and Really Big Plant's channel for snake plants
@@kateo5846yes Melissa has a great pothos collection. Her plants on poles are amazing. She does way more with her poles than I do with my one pole. I had to put my monstera on a pole and now it’s four feet tall and 1.5 feet over the top of the pole. I need to be doing a repot to straightened out in the pot then add an extension.
Also @plantsbymelissa has quite a few alocasia. You’d like her channel. Watch it sometimes.
Just saw you live at the IAS, how did you you post at the exact same time?! Technology is wild lol 😂. Hoping you purchased one of those Anthurium seeds at the end of your PalmStreet live!
UA-cam creators can schedule their videos 😉 I do that all the time.
I didn’t end up getting those 🥲 it would be almost $100 CAD per seed for me and I’m just not in that tax bracket right now 😂
