Disclaimer: This deck is not very good. Brian even said, he went 2 and 6 before. If anyone finds out the secret on how to make Healadin work, please let the community know.
I am aware of that. They fucked up the Spellstone, it should have been something impactful for lategame, not something unimpactful for early (as ift will generally be turn 6 or 7 when you actually play the fully upgraded stone). Plus Blackguard is too expansive for what he does.
Yep, exactly. Give Healadin one to 3 good lategame threats and you have yourself a deck. It survives against most aggro decks if you get the right cards (which is about half the deck) but against Control and Midrange you kind of just lose.
The only real difference between higher ranks and rank 20 is that people play badly at rank 20. When it comes to meta decks, it's pretty much the same whatever rank you step in unless it's the higher legends. I know this as I've started as a rank 20 too but as I got good I realized people there were just bad at decision making and trading minions
This is so beautiful. I wish it always worked that well :( So many cool cards like Benevolent Djinn, Glass Knight, Kangor...all just lying idly in my collection with no use.
It really only worked well in the first game. Sure he won but it was kind of lucky getting equality when he needed it twice and his opponent could have put him at 1 during one of the turns. Not saying he didnt deserve that second win because I really enjoyed that comeback but he said in the beginning that this was probably one of the better rogue match ups and it was still one shaky game.
Crystallizer actually seems like the support the archetype needed, now it just needs a meta that isn't heavily populated with control decks (and probably at least one more support card in the next set to push it from "kinda playable" to "maybe actually decent"). Obviously it's not going to work right now though, druids don't care about your life total and even when you get an aggro matchup both zoo and baku rogue are just too good at building giant boards that can wear you down over time. Just hold out hope though, it's kinda close to actually working and might make it one day since unlike whatever the fuck freeze shaman was Blizzard seems like they still remember they were trying to make this a thing.
They really missed an opportunity with Kangor. They should have made him read "Battlecry: For the rest of the game, healing above 30 grants you armor instead." It would singlehandedly create a new viable control paladin archetype (except against Shudderwock) while breathing life into a lot of healing cards that are cool, but unplayable (e.g. blackguard)
Blackguard and spellstone still wouldn't work and would be harder to use. It's still a buff to the deck (potentially), but that effect is ONLY good if drawn and played early while being next to useless when played later. It would basically be Keleseth 2.0, but searchable ASSUMING he stays a 2 mana 1/2.
Kangor isn't bad, he just looks bad because he's legendary. Compare him to vicious scalehide and it's actually pretty reasonable though, you trade rush for divine shield (arguably a lateral move) and potentially gain much more healing potential. If they renamed him and re-released it as a common people would be all "oh neat, that's a cool little anti-aggro tool" but because it's a class legendary he's going to be compared to deck-defining powerhouses and obviously not look anywhere near as impressive.
It would be sweet if Jaina and Arthas had a special interaction (like Malfurion and Tyrande) For those who don't know, Jaina was Arthas' lover before he got corrupted.
Dekkster has a video of even Kangor paladin that's really strong if played right. I'd suggest checking the video out. It's not exactly heal but kangore was doing work with proper buff cards.
At 11:15 would there be any merit for going for truesilver instead? Both going with Chillblade guarantees you live a turn, but that means nothing if you cant stabalize which is ONLY by drawing Tarim or Equality. Truesilver will be a 1/6 to reswing with Blackguard ping effect. That's probably the same odds you have of drawing an out while being in a similar board state except you still have chillblade in hand for next turn to clean up the 6/3 left over from trading in.
"If we just keep playing against aggro decks, then this deck is clearly great!" Arrested Development Narrator: "He didn't just keep playing against aggro decks."
The issue with this deck is that you don't have proactive gameplay. You're basically an anti-aggro deck, but you don't have any tools to pressure other control decks or combo decks. Crystallizer is cool but we need a lot more cards that damage you for an effect for this deck to get anywhere, and even then it'll still be meh.
Maybe mad bomber? If he hits you, you can damage yourself for heals. If he hits your opponent, he helps control the board? Maybe not a strong choice but I'm throwing out some ideas hmm
you should really add just one copy of Bittertide Hydra, yes in some matchups it'll be too dangerous but it can sometimes be the difference between doing nothing against a control deck for ages and playing a big tempo minion that can trigger all of your heal synergy
Yo Brain magnetize missile launcher on to Zilliax or that 2 6 life steal mech taunt. A life steal missile launch paired up with black guard could be pretty broken. Also you can use that 1 mana spell to adapt the missile launcher, praise rng for can not targeted by hero power or spell. Anti magic shell would also work, probably too slow, but heal paladin is a control deck to I guess it might work. For anti board removal( vanish and twisting) play rebuke. Even if it dies, kangor’s endless army will bring it back. Maybe I’m crazy but give it a try.
Could call to arms help make this deck slightly better? Could run a few more 2 drops or 1 drops with divine shield or life steal to help make corpse taker more consistent and give you a way to both thin and establish a board.
Kangor doubling healing is actually not great. Halving the number of times you can heal just gives you less triggers of all your cool stuff. I wish this deck worked, the concept is so cool
Odd Rogue is a full expansion old now and I'm STILL trying to figure out which decks it beats. Cant beat anything I've seen except VERY slow control or combo decks that dont include ANY taunt and/or healing/lifesteal. Oh right... that's NONE of them.
I went Legend with It in the previous season, It is not really that strong Indeed But with a lot of patience you can climb, anyway It is played because it's cheap and that's It, if you want a good winrate you better play a control deck or an OTK deck.
+Oui Kangor is pretty damn good in general, you can put him into pretty much any remotely slow paladin deck as long as it has at least some heal or buff cards (even as little as 2x truesilver and 2x spikeridged is enough imo). After all, he doubles his own heal as well. I mean, no such deck is viable atm, but you can still try to find some fun off-meta ones.
Hi, you know that you would have killed him much earlier, you had a weapon with 4 dmg and a Zilliax with 3 dmg and rush and you had 10 mana. Why didn't you face him with 7 dmg, that was exactely the number of his hp? Or did you just want to make the match more heroic?
Yes, sorry. I am German, I didn't know the right translation of "rush", a friend told me the correct translation. I know now that this is the new effect of some cards.
I like how most people think Odd Rogue isn't mindless aggro nearly akin to Pirate Warrior, yet *Kibler, the card game professional,* is aware it is like I do.
this doesnt work because druids are rly powerful, just nerf druids for once blizard. like blizard nerf druid cards and they still are the best cards in the game ffs
you know when a deck sucks when the streamer doesn´t post the win rate. And obviously just show games where the game performed good. IDK if editors or streamers are responsible for this missinformation attempt that i consider a insult on their viewers intelligence.
in what world would you not take freaking tirion???????? like what the actual hell man instead you bank your win on "having a guy" idk man tarim couldn't have been the correct play there
Disclaimer: This deck is not very good. Brian even said, he went 2 and 6 before. If anyone finds out the secret on how to make Healadin work, please let the community know.
It's not gonna work unless Blizzard decides to print a card that supports healadin's win condition
I am aware of that. They fucked up the Spellstone, it should have been something impactful for lategame, not something unimpactful for early (as ift will generally be turn 6 or 7 when you actually play the fully upgraded stone). Plus Blackguard is too expansive for what he does.
I could see the Blackguard as some sort of control potential, but what it really lacks as you said is some late game threats.
Yep, exactly. Give Healadin one to 3 good lategame threats and you have yourself a deck. It survives against most aggro decks if you get the right cards (which is about half the deck) but against Control and Midrange you kind of just lose.

14:02 "Unity, Precision, Reporting for duty"
"Primitive"
10:13
"Winter is here."
"Reporting for duty."
This is Literally the first time I've seen the pally spellstone fully upgraded
I got it fully upgraded once with pick pocket rogue.

by the looks of it this decks core cards are spellstone kangor and blackguard
spellstone and blackguard are way worse than kangor..
The Progressive Cynic Heal paladin coming soon (Rastakhan)
See this is why I love kibler because he's got stupid amounts of dust/ways to come up with really creative decks that you don't normally get to see
Maybe throw in a weapon or something to actually get damage on your hero naturally?
Oh yeah Val'nayr makes sense
Get Bittertide Hydra in there. Good card and enables more healing/the downside is almost irrelevant
he tried it and immediately queued against zoo
Happy Ghouls could fit in this deck
It's not an aggro deck, I think you dont want to empty your hand that fast. The deck has no card draw like a Zoo Warlock
At 5:57 he talks about it
As shown in this video, 90% of the heals happened at 30 hp so ghoul is 90% of the time 3 mana 3/3
It would be sweet if Jaina and Arthas had a special interaction (like Malfurion and Tyrande) For those who don't know, Jaina was Arthas' lover before he got corrupted.
The synergy is amazing. Well done
Even knowing this deck is bad i still wanna play it so much.
Thank you Kibler for giving us this content.
Welcome back to Kibler makes non-meta decks viable
On this episode: heal paladin
which failed lol
That odd rogue with the taunting, bet he/she felt bad afterwards
I wish this deck was good. It looks like a ton of fun and I have almost all the cards. I love control paladin.
Dekkster has a video of even Kangor paladin that's really strong if played right. I'd suggest checking the video out. It's not exactly heal but kangore was doing work with proper buff cards.

that comeback was incredible! 😄
NOW THIS IS SOME QUALITY CONTENT
Kibler, the Causer of Concedes
Well played in thad odd game! The patience!
"If we just keep playing against aggro decks, then this deck is clearly great!"
Arrested Development Narrator: "He didn't just keep playing against aggro decks."
"Oh boy, just netdecked a 60% winrate aggro deck, imma get legend real quick now"
* faces only healpaladin in ladder *
"Oh goddammit, never lucky"
*brian uploads vid*
me: 😲... *stops everything and taps vid*
The issue with this deck is that you don't have proactive gameplay. You're basically an anti-aggro deck, but you don't have any tools to pressure other control decks or combo decks.

Brian Kibler the type of dude who plays paladin spellstone on ladder
Kibler is the type of gaming streamer to make a legs reveal video.
11:28 is why you always go face when playing aggro, otherwise you give your opponent outs.
Sasuga Kibler. You're a genious!
*Ok, now this is epic*
holy shit the trades that rouge was doing
13:11 was definitely a missplay going face with weapon and playing both minions is the best play
What do you guys think about a minion that gives your hero 'Overheal' as long as its on the board and the extra lives don't disappear when it dies.
Maybe mad bomber? If he hits you, you can damage yourself for heals. If he hits your opponent, he helps control the board? Maybe not a strong choice but I'm throwing out some ideas hmm
What if you put adapt into your deck and give the blackguard lifesteal 🤔 then he goes on untill ur at full hp right?
This dec is awesome it looks so fun.
Healadin just needs more cards like crystaliser, a sort of way of pushing the 30 health cap some way. Maybe a card that turns overheal into armor.
Chaz Chartrand-Morin paladin got that key card now .d
They say that time's supposed to heal ya
But I ain't done much healing
-Adele
so youtube stop loading form some reason but pornhub never lag?
wtf?
Asking the questions that matter.
Be honest, would you rather have Pornhub lagging and UA-cam work smoothly?
Xylarxcode That's an excellent point.
There’s a lesson there somewhere....
On its way to a come back after rastakhan is done.
8:08 anyone but me who laughed my ass off by that sound? just me? ok:(
I SAWED THIS BOAT IN HALF! NOW 8:42 !
You could try to combine the new legendary with bolvard, glass knight and the new divine shield secret, mixing heal and divine shield
Nice creative deck there
Why not run valnyr so you can keep attacking into things and then healing back up
you should really add just one copy of Bittertide Hydra, yes in some matchups it'll be too dangerous but it can sometimes be the difference between doing nothing against a control deck for ages and playing a big tempo minion that can trigger all of your heal synergy
Yo Brain magnetize missile launcher on to Zilliax or that 2 6 life steal mech taunt. A life steal missile launch paired up with black guard could be pretty broken. I've had a healadin deck for a while now. It's very fun to play but not competitive.
Nice deck , keep it up XD
If you can give blackguard lifesteal would it keep looping healing and damage?
Yes
*MAKES MOUTH NOISES FURIOUSLY*
Could call to arms help make this deck slightly better? Could run a few more 2 drops or 1 drops with divine shield or life steal to help make corpse taker more consistent and give you a way to both thin and establish a board.
Call to Arms would call Crystallizers, which would impede the only self-damage option.
If you have board control, you aren't gonna take damage, making all the healing cards worthless.
Heal Paly will never work in a meta full of OTKs.
Imagine playing for the board instead of boring your opponent
genius deck
Expensive deck
card draw is what it lacks otherwise sure fun deck
Great video, but deslike for not making the deck list easily accessible.
Ho je voulais faire un deck comme celui-ci 👍
1:50 Found a bug. The explosive runes only dealt 4 instead of 5 to kibler
6 - 2 = 4
it should hit divine shield doing 1 damage, then do 5 to kibler.
@@ericm599 It seems like the secret calculates the amount of damage it needs to kill the minion and doesn't check for divine shield.
i dont think it does this with other divine shield minions though
@@ericm599 You think? Or are you sure? What else would explain the secret splitting the damage as if it didn't know the divine shield was there?
im your buggest french fan !
Non
Warning: play this on ladder and you will get ROFL-stomped by shudderwock shaman every game
1:56 Why did he take 4 damage? Bugged?
Can I replace blackguard; only card I'm missing
Aggelos M missile launcher
Kangor doubling healing is actually not great. Halving the number of times you can heal just gives you less triggers of all your cool stuff. I wish this deck worked, the concept is so cool
Only for the Glass Knight. Blackguards and Spellstones both benefit from the heals being twice as big.
I am joke better make an early.

High priest thekal incoming
This deck seems expensive, I'm just sad now
It's ok. The deck is hot trash. Kibler even admitted it wasn't worth playing right now.
Yeah, but as a free to play I really wanted to make Kangor work since I got him as my free legendary, I guess I'll have to wait
@@oui7171 You can squeeze in Kangor in a Galvadon deck, if you have it. Other wise, just running Kangor in a homebrew buff paladin would work.
+Oui
Kangor is pretty damn good in general, you can put him into pretty much any remotely slow paladin deck as long as it has at least some heal or buff cards (even as little as 2x truesilver and 2x spikeridged is enough imo). Did he do ALL THE COKE?
bla bla bla koffe bäst
Why is his hero power giving him 4 armor?

rush can't go face
Yes, sorry. I am German, I didn't know the right translation of "rush", a friend told me the correct translation. I know now that this is the new effect of some cards.
A counter to aggro?
Keep your dust for controle warlock. This deck is fun, but not viable. He did 2v/6d with it
Golden heal paladin aggro
i wonder when hearthstone will implement a graveyard mechanic.
I mean, it basically has a stealth graveyard already with cards like Eternal Servitude, N'zoth, and the Warlock Hero.
yeah, i supposed that they will just keep it as another form of RNG and no need to do something on the scale that MTG does.
nice
That mage played really poorly
Lol typical aggro mage
Hate much?
I like how most people think Odd Rogue isn't mindless aggro nearly akin to Pirate Warrior, yet *Kibler, the card game professional,* is aware it is like I do.
True intellectuals, you are.
It pays to go to school. All I can say.
Hello :)
The First Guy Was Playing Whizbang That's Why He Lost.
This deck need a "doctor" becase is bad.
A 2 Mana 6 6 is not worth building a deck around. Secret Hunter is way stronger
He isn't doing it to have the 6/6, but to beat aggros and see if the archetype works.
Why does he bm?
1:50 Anyone else catch the bug here? explosive runes deals 4 instead of the 5 it should have
explosive runes bugged at 1:55
First.

I bet you playing hearthstone is killing you as you cannot repetitively flick and shuffle the cards in your hand lol :-)
this doesnt work because druids are rly powerful, just nerf druids for once blizard. like blizard nerf druid cards and they still are the best cards in the game ffs

What a terrible deck. I'd be so tilted if I queued into that with tempo mage
