I feel bad for the Shaman in the first clip. Sure, he had turn two Keleseth, but those low-rolls and that incredibly fortunate Meteorologist by Kibler... really unfortunate.
Dude , are you feeling bad for a shudderwock shaman? Whats wrong with you?!? All shudderwock players should be punished by Kiblers dragon army! Or elemental army in this case ...
JoRythem as someone has mentioned, it's not shudder shaman, as combo shudder doesn't run keleseth, it was midrange shaman or tempo shaman. Nothing bad or unfair about the deck
It's actually crazy to me. I remember when I first saw this deck I thought "Man, this deck just can't beat any deck that goes wide on board." and then Meteorologist showed up.
well i mean, the man streams for 8 hours a day and hearthstone games take like what, 7 minutes on average? he plays a LOT of games, and even i could pump out daily highlights pretty easily if i had to and i dont even play that often. hearthstone is a game that just naturally has dope shit happen in it, which is some pretty high praise imo
Thanks i guess.. I just wanted to ask because he suddenly started double uploading which i thought was his way of making up for the time he took off but it's been consistent for a while now that i just had to ask if this were the new "normal" with the channel.. poor editor i guess lol
fluffy pancake batter i mean, how much work do you think this takes? IMO, not that much. Brian sends the games to his editor, probably tagging them, and the editor takes those games, puts it into a format, finds a song and edits the final defeat to happen at the final note of the song. I’d feel sorry for the editor if it was someone like graphic who does an assload of work, but it doesnt seem like much of a hassle.
He often has double uploads at the start of an expansion so he can get all of his new stuff out of the way. Once boomsday settles in he'll probably revert back to single uploads.
Meteorologist is basically Cassiopeia from Shadowverse with face abilities, and even in SV Cass is extremely strong. Actually my favorite card from that game. So I'm very happy (and not really surprised) Astrologist is doing well in Hearthstone :D
Stefan Massyn I initially just thought it was him quickly moving his mouse wheel, but upon closer inspection, I'd prefer it to be exactly what you think
i believe it was metal or steel spheres with magnet inside crushing into eachother. I had that before and it did really similiar or even the same sound.
Minemine Loco has it right. Those are two cowmagnets that make the stange sound you heard when they click together. The thing is, it didn't sound like a fart. Even if he did, that's not what it sounded like.
It feels so wrong to play a spell-casting class without spells. BoS is just card draw, so doesn't really count. I'm curious though, does this deck do well enough without any silence effects or weapon removal? I've always felt like having those control options is essential because you never know when you'll need either of them. The matches Kibler played here didn't have a need for them, but not all matches are like these.
This deck usually has a big hand, so it doesn't hurt too much to put in a tech card, but you also really want to hit your elemental synergies, which is already made harder by having the Meteorologists, so adding even more non-elemental minions (e.g. Spellbreaker, Ooze) makes it harder to execute your proactive game-plan. The choice depends on the metagame you're seeing. If there are a lot of good silence targets (and not too many fast decks) in your local meta, go ahead and sub in 1 Spellbreaker for 1 Tol'vir Stoneshaper. (Or 3/3 Ooze to counter legendary weapons.)
That's a good point about the elementals. I think instead of taking out 1 Tol'vir for an ooze, I would take out an Astromancer. I know having it is part of the point of playing this "big hand" Mage deck, but I'm personally not a big fan of getting a random minion when it could easily end up being something bad, like Dragonhatcher. Maybe that's wrong of me to think, though. After some consideration, I think silence/Polymorph isn't that mandatory at the moment, but ooze is still important for certain weapons. This deck otherwise seems to be able to handle most threats as it is. I wish I had the time to watch Kibler's stream so I can see more gameplay with this deck.
This deck is sweet. I have a very similar build, but mine features Luna's Pocket Galaxy, Stargazer Luna and Archmage Arugal instead. It sure creates for some ridiculous shenanigans at times.
Same. I do think he's underrating pocket galaxy slightly since with Stargazer Luna or Arugal+Book you create massive burst potential with 1-mana meteorologists, blazecallers, etc. That said I have found it awkward to play in a lot of matchups so I do see why he's not including it, but he hasn't tried it and I bet he'd be surprised at how crazy it can be even in a non-combo deck. Honestly, if you've cast pocket galaxy and have stargazer luna and arugal in play, you sort of *do* turn into a combo deck. You can easily do 30+ burst from hand. Draw a 1-mana minion, play it, draw 2 1-mana meteorologists, play left then right dealing 17, play 1 draw 2 1-mana blazecallers, play both for 27 burst. Now, obviously this isn't a typical scenario but the point is it can enable some obscenely powerful turns. Even if you're not hitting meteorologists and blazeacllers, just drawing into and playing a flood of 1-mana minions will usually end a game. The main issue with pocket galaxy is if you don't have luna or book, it's pretty meh. With either of those though its fantastic.
Not trying to hijack his channel, but I will be uploading some elemental Shaman play on my channel in the next few days. Be advised that it didn't go very well, but it likely needs more refinement/playtime. If only I could run Jaina in Shaman...
Why wouldn't you shard the fire fly turn 1? Establishes board and allows you to trade into his keleseth and book for free. Giant is a low percentage play to hope for. Beat the more aggro deck early and coast to a free win as you have a better late game.
I played this list up to rank 3 and it's good and nice to play. Decks that goes nuts in the early game wrecks you (aggro that floods the board turn 3, druid with double naturalize by turn 5, etc.) but if you're not try-harding for that 1% win rate the deck is definitely viable.
All right, someone check my math for the Meteorologist not hitting face once (taking into account the order in which the minions died) because I am bad at math and probably don't understand how probability works. ((4/5)^4)*(3/4)*((2/3)^3) = 0.0910222... So, there was a 9.1% chance of that happening. How wrong am I?
It's best outcome is effectively Avenging Wrath with a 3/3 tacked on. While that's obviously very good, it definitely isn't a card that needs to be nerfed. The deck Kibler is playing is more reliant on Book of Specters and Frost Lich Jaina than on Meteorologist.
+gferrol118 sometimes terrible cards win you games, especially when you randomly generate them off of other cards. Pocket Galaxy is a decent if somewhat clunky combo-enabler, but it's far too slow to be consistently good in a tempo deck like this.

true
LOL 🤣 Well played
lol too funny
I feel bad for the Shaman in the first clip. Sure, he had turn two Keleseth, but those low-rolls and that incredibly fortunate Meteorologist by Kibler... really unfortunate.
both opponents in this vid really got to behold the fucking cosmos
Turn two Keleseth and didn't play a single buffed card that game.
Dude , are you feeling bad for a shudderwock shaman? Whats wrong with you?!? All shudderwock players should be punished by Kiblers dragon army! Or elemental army in this case ...
its not combo shudderwock but tempo shudderwock. it's actually really fun to play with. give it a look no grumble or lifedrinkers
JoRythem as someone has mentioned, it's not shudder shaman, as combo shudder doesn't run keleseth, it was midrange shaman or tempo shaman.
Nothing bad or unfair about the deck
5:02 that laugh though. that was like pity laugh for the opponent lmao
It matches Mossy Horror's lmao
Absolyst brode just took kibs laugh an pitched it down. Exposed! Those lazy folks.
It's actually crazy to me. I remember when I first saw this deck I thought "Man, this deck just can't beat any deck that goes wide on board." and then Meteorologist showed up.
So is this double upload a day thing regular now? Should i expect this to happen from now on? :O

Makes sense.. Thank you very much ^-^
Meteorology is made even better with the popularity of the giggles. Outside of Moss Boss, he's the best answer to a giggly board.
Kibler reached a new world record of Defeating an enemy to concede!
2:07
Kibler's friendship ended with Rotface, now Meteorologist is his new friend
Meteorologist is basically countering Giggling Inventor, haha.
The thing is, mossy horror does the same but better in some of those cases
the thing is mossy horror is a 6 mana 2/7
Meteorologist is basically Cassiopeia from Shadowverse with face abilities, and even in SV Cass is extremely strong. Actually my favorite card from that game. So I'm very happy (and not really surprised) Astrologist is doing well in Hearthstone :D

Why can't a man fart when he's playing his favorite childrens' card game ?
Minemine Loco has it right. Those are two cowmagnets that make the stange sound you heard when they click together.
The thing is, it didn't sound like a fart. Even if he did, that's not what it sounded like.
I will continue to stand by this man in his right to fart when playing a card game.

just tech in an ooze then?!?
I plan to, but I was clearly asking how well people do without weapon removal and silence in the current meta.

What's a replacement for astromamcer?
Meteorologist is perfect. Those 9 face damage into priest face after Psychic Scream... Fascinating...
That was a Warlock and a twisting Nether.
There it was, sure. But it was 8 damage also, when in my game it was 9 after psychic.
5:46
and this is going even further beyond!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
*hair grows even longer*
this is super saiyan 3!

The end keeps coming
I was right all the time mwahahaha
And it won't stop coming
Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running.
If you try hard enough, it sounds wrong
Are there any reasonable replacements for Pyros for this deck?
Golden Kobold geomancer
Stonetusk boar
What is this deck code ?
He's probably already changed the decklist a bit since this video was made, that's why he never posts codes.
I donated to you once, I said hi and you utterly ignored my existence. Its okay though, great work buddy keep it up!!
No deck list 😢
Is this worth crafting? I'm currently rank 14
You should play some Tempo Mage! Ain't no one running it correctly, and I know you would! Tempo took me from rank 9 to rank 1, almost legend!
i love those elemental value decks; i wish there was a priest or shaman version
Not trying to hijack his channel, but I will be uploading some elemental Shaman play on my channel in the next few days. Be advised that it didn't go very well, but it likely needs more refinement/playtime. If only I could run Jaina in Shaman...
lol yeah.. although, since you run mostly minions, thrall/hagatha are probably still not too bad. the combo meta is ruining this deck type lol
Kibler is the type of dude to go into a hospital for a soar throat
6:03 did he fart ?
Deck list??
It's on the side...

I like this deck but I don't wanna craft Astromancer.
To be fair the card will be in Standard for another 1 and 2/3rd years, as will Book of Spectres.
is this deck worth crafting?
I also wanna know, cause it looks fun to play
Kibler certainly seems to be playing it a lot
@@Septimus_ii yeah i wonder whats his winrate is
Im 8-1 with him , but add luna's pocket galaxy and luna , its so fun , against druids is so strong too

John Doe, That's just completely wrong in every way.
@@jasonschuler2256 thanks for pointing it out, could you explain the reasoning I really enjoy probability but cant seem to wrap my head around it :)

Wow, i feel like this meta is going so fast .-.
THAS A LOT OF DAMAGE!
Editing mistake, music is too good to talk over . . .
Act Dry mouth lozenges, try em
That Shaman had so many low rolls I'd swear it was Kripparian
you have 28 cards in your deck how? Tried making this deck but you only have 28 cards!!!!!!!!!
"The Mage spell is bad outside of combo decks" I got it from glyph in my elemental Mage, and it won me the game
thats 2 turns earlier and it didnt take up a slot in ur deck
oniuserjh no, it was past turn 10 when I got it. Plus it technically did take up a slot, since I used my glyph for it

can you try to play pogo rogue ?
