It’s nice having a fellow Canadian with a well known channel! Everything is usually only famous if it’s made by our American neighbours so it’s really refreshing.
I highly recommend Shaelin Writes if you're interested in the craft of writing, and Mother's Basement is one of the leading anime UA-camrs, both Canadian.

Saying the black bear is the best bear is a great to antagonize someone (Dwight) who knows a lot about bears. That said, black bears are great. Did you know there is a subspecies of black bear called a cinnamon bear? Go google them. You won't be disappointed.
@@animalogic well black bear is best because it's far more versatile especially as forests get smaller and the versatility of the black bear puts its higher up than the base power and size of the brown bear. so it's less of being antagonistic and more about looking at the current and future placement of the creature.
I'm a fan of your channel. I have a huge interest in wildlife. Someday I wanna work at a zoo and even travel to see, study and educate nature. Keep up the great work and also thanks for mentioning Terra Mater!!

I always wondered, why hibernating animals aren't all weak and wasted away (like bedridden humans), when they wake up in spring. What a cool adaptation.
For some future vidios can you please do sawfish and goblin sharks. Two fish with unusual noses and weird abilities. Goblin sharks are particularly facinating due to their extending jaw
i feel like wildlife photography should just phase out recreational hunting in its entirety. It's the same thrill and many of the same tracking techniques but you're not murdering an innocent animal for sport!
Love the content and bears, also feeling homesick for B.C so it's extra nice to see! Will you be selling prints of your bear illustration at the start of the video?
Also a fun fact about bears and the Great Bear Rainforest I learned while at the U.B.C, the Great Bear Rainforest has the highest net primary productivity per capita partially due to the fact that bears leave salmon corpses on the ground and their bodies fertilize plants.
I wonder if grizzlies get a little extra boost of pride when they catch a salmon in their mouth when it jumps into the air. Like, "yeah, gotcha!" Sure, I'll bet they're just happy with the ones they get by dunking their faces into the water, but it's probably extra special to catch one in mid air.
I love how at 3:39 the salmon just tries to spawn anyways. "Go forth my tiny minions! Continue my legacy!"
