The ability of polar bears to look like goofy playful even gentle animals whilst being the largest land carnivore and most ruthless of all bears is truly fascinating
The Ice Worlds episode for “Planet Earth” has a downer ending and two happy endings: the downer ending where the male polar bear fails to find a walrus to eat and starves to death and two happy ones where the emperor penguin egg hatches into a chick and the father protects it until the mother returns and she then cares for it and protects it while the father goes to feed and the emperor penguin mother and father then work together and do a great job raising their emperor penguin chick through the winter and where the two cubs of the mother polar bear reach adulthood and leave to live their own lives still together for the time being showing that polar bears are not really solitary after all.
I think it's absolutely wonderful to see such a beautiful natural landscape, and I believe the picture quality, composition, and everything else is perfect.
I've remembered those hunting clips from Blue Planet. That camera operator had great patience to keep the high speed camera rolling after the bear disappeared beneath the surface chasing the seal.
No, why i've just saw this. The polar bears are super adorable when they did the play around with each other. I like how the the naration tell us that the female polar bear was enough for teasing the male one. He was look so done to climb.
Thank you so much for this video, ive always been so fascinated by bears especially polar bears. Huge shoutout to the camera and filming team for their bravery! They risk their lives in order to film these beautiful creatures.
Sir Richard Attenborough made many documentaries about nature and we are grateful. Polar bears are beautiful. May we all participate in climate change issues so the ice glaciers won't continue melting and nature continues to exist, no matter which part of our world it is being damaged. With the deepest appreciation and admiration for this documentary.
It was nice to be able to take a closer look at polar bears' lives. The scene that polar bears and walruses fight made my heart pound and when I saw the polar bear's cub. I almost stopped breathing because the polar bear's cubs were so cute. I wonder how you were able to take pictures of animals so closely. And I want to observe and hug these lovely animals in front of my eyes.

I bet polar bears might be one of the happiest animals that is out there. They are only predator out there and they have so much room to roam, and at this point i bet they love the cold. Its just eating seals and chilling. I would like to be polar bear XD
Wolf and polar bear populations frequently overlap in many areas, so they aren’t the only apex predators. The only place where they have little competition is on sea ice, but of course, not all polar bears live on the sea ice
5:45 the sounds of the bears fighting and their bodies just stamping on the ground is actually pretty terrifying. If i liked in polar bear territory, even if i had a gun id be like 'im gonna die today'
The Arctic is under threat, and so are these magnificent creatures. Let's come together to promote sustainable practices and secure a future for polar bears
Nah she thought he was the one even though he couldnt get up the hill. He just went for a nap in the sun all sad cause hes too heavy for her climbing games 😂 For such brutal animals, their flirting is cute
exactly my question also, if they can smell an animal whale or seal under water and other animals from over the horizon , , what kind of anti perspirant is the camera man using?

Every polar bear has a story, and it's up to us to ensure their story includes a thriving Arctic habitat. Let's commit to conservation and climate action.
Male polar bear. They don't remember if they're the father as far as I know, because after breeding they take off. Still, it seems like a bad evolutionary decision to eat any cub in case it's his.

They are acutally maritime carnivores. They live on water (ice)
