Awesome information, Enzo. I've just sent off my first proposal using the advice and material provided in your Get The Drive program so I'm very thankful that I'm involved with it. To run the series for the entire year costs $35k in the Formula car and $30k if you want to run the MX-5. They provide the car, service and even the gear if you don't have it. All the driver has to do is show up. It really doesn't get much better than that when you're just starting out here in the States. Hey Enzo, I am from Nepal where a career in motorsport is not even an option! No tracks and no racing environment. I am 17 now and I am moving out next year..... I am planning to go to a country where Motorsport is respected and opportunities are numerous. Your videos have inspired me a lot but I still want to be realistic.... do you think it is possible for me to have a future in Motorsport if I start at this age???
You know I never really thought about what I wanted to do as a profession until today and being a professional race driver popped up in the back of my head because I’ve always kinda thought maybe I could do that as a profession because I’ve always had a thing for cars and racing, so I’m glad I saw this video so if I choose to follow this path this will be a great reference
Great video, it almost made me cry. I am actually starting to believe in myself more than ever. A big motivation by the way for us rookies who desire to make a mark in this trade. Hope for more fruitful videos. Will be in touch.🙂
I just turned 17 and i have never thought id wanna be a F1 driver but i just went to my first karting thing today and i went to see if i would really wanna be a “professional driver” and oh my gosh it made me so happy that i got a career i would really love to pursue . So what im still struggling with is , where do i even start ? Do i need race school ? A certain school for F1 ? Please help me somebody . Thank you !
Would it be a big problem if I wanted to become an Indycar driver/racer (or whatever you wanna call it) if I live in England?, I’m 14 and I don’t know where to start as the main thing over here is formula 1 so I don’t know if there’s a particular karting place I need to go (because Indycar tracks make you do a left turn and F1 do both left and right turns), it kinda sad as Indy and nascar isn’t really recognised over here
This is great, but what I want to know is how do you get a drive even if you have the money and everything. How would you get a deal with whatever team in the first place. How do you go about buying a car or getting a contract anyway?
I remember when i was 17 or 18, living in brooklyn in a poor/middle-class family I was told I had to be in a wealthy family to be a professional racer... sadly i let that kill my dream while I was young and served time in the army infantry instead... I'm a software engineer now at 35 and I still have my heart calling me to race... I play sims all the time, games, and even go-kart now... I am very curious if I can maybe somehow find out if I am rare talent for the profession of racing. Can I still make that dream happen at this age...?
I’m 15 nearly 16 and had this sudden ambition of wanting to become a racer preferably circuit racing, it’s been in my head for quite a while but it’s only now where I’ve been greatly interested. Can anyone help me out and give me advice on where to start? I live in Europe and not rich. Lots of people say that to become a racer you need to be rich, which frustrates me kind of.
Please help,I also want to become a racing driver, but there is literally no motorsports of any kind in my environment. Literally, there is nothing. No race tracks,no karting...nothing!! Advice...please
How did you get a bank loan? Would banks give you a loan to go to a Racing School? Even for 1, 2, or even 3 day? In the US, Allen Berg has a Racing School but it’s expensive, $6.5k for 3 days. I’m also 24, so being able to get a start will be hard, but I’m also curious to see how far I can go.
I just applied for it for a car purchase. I would not recommend getting a bank loan because you will be in the hole before you even start, I did the bank loan twice but the second time I regretted it because I could only manage to do half a season of racing, but had to keep paying that loan off for 5 years after, that was painful.

Sorry to say it mate but if you're at university that ship has long since sailed for you. Every F1 driver on the grid has been driving since long before they were teenagers.
Let's be honest most of us are here cuz we ain't got money and we are talented but also we gotta consider in this only 20 people will make it to F1 or if you want any othertop-tiere racing like Nascar,Indycar,Touring in most of them only 20 drivers are racing and most of teams prefer experienced drivers so that would make it ten and considering all top-tier motorsports in the world that Maximum are like 15 only 150 people will make it to the top step so being talented is not only necessary it is being better than other talented people and that is actually all

I dont really need 200 grand to start i just need to pay a karting team $1000 per month. But i dont have it. Is it ok if i start in a rental kart c'ship.could i get sponsors from a rental kart c'ship
Hi. Yes it is totally ok to start with rental karting. Getting outside sponsorship isn’t normally possible because there is no commercial value in it for them, so sponsorship from family members or just hustling in life to earn that $1,000 per month is normally what drivers do. Flipping things on Facebook Marketplace, working a night job and getting money in the old fashioned way is what most drivers will do for these championships. All the best KS

This depends what your goal is. If it is to become a professional race driver then once you are old enough the drive cars, then you may as well go straight to cars. If you just want to have fun then there is no age limit
I’m only 13 and I want to become a race car driver like my father, but I’m still young and I really want to become a race car driver. I have been participating in races, but I always landed 10th place. Is it normal to feel like I should give up? Or should I not give up?

Hey men, I'm karting every day for 2 months now. I'm Dutch and currently I live on the Island of Mallorca. I broke the track record at the kart track of Can Picafort (karts go 90 km/h). And I broke the track record of Kartmania (80 km/h). I want to make the step to cars ASAP. I'm 23 years old. I eat mostly fruits and nuts, and I'm fit. I plank vor 28 minutes each day except sunday. And I always keep on stretching my limits. Do you think it's better to save money for a mini or for a ginetta? Or do you have other advice about what you think is best to do? I read a lot about the best steps to take for a professional career. But different things are being said. I'd love to skype with you to show you my commitment. Much love, Abraham (Bram) Smeets
Yeah definitely go for it, I just started last year and I was 16 as well. And tbf I didn't do well but it was a great experience and I learned so much just from 3 races. I'm looking to start my 2nd year with a much better knowledge base and what I can definitely say is that the knowledge you gain from the Karting environment is extremely valuable in every way. So yeah definitely worth the try 💪👍
I echo John Cena. You can start racing at nearly any age. If you can get a race licence (which is easy) then you can race. If you want to go pro, then earlier the better. If you are fast and are consistently winning then that buys some of the years back, you can start in your 30’s and get paid, but F1 would obviously mean starting in your pre-teen or teen years. But I will never say never, one day an older driver will make it to F1 again.

Thanks buddy. Great to have you with us 👊
Thank you Enzo,
I m 13 thanx for everything the sub goes !!! I m talented but I don t have money this helped me
Good luck! I hope i had That dream at That age😆
I really love your video's they give me so much inspiration and motivation really apriciate you man❤
Hey Enzo, I am from Nepal where a career in motorsport is not even an option!
Enzo Mucci thank you so much !! I will do what you have told 😊😊
You know I never really thought about what I wanted to do as a profession until today and being a professional race driver popped up in the back of my head because I’ve always kinda thought maybe I could do that as a profession because I’ve always had a thing for cars and racing, so I’m glad I saw this video so if I choose to follow this path this will be a great reference
well keep that in mind if my car and racing addition keep growing
awesome video Enzo, motivation is on the rise!
I'd say take karting, It's what I'm going to start this weekend probably because of this video!
Hey Tommy! Best of luck in your journey, we hope to see your name on television soon!
Best how to video on becoming a racecar driver. Nice video bud 👍
Thank you !
Thank you it was really a valuable lessons for me
I know I already commented on this video but thank you for helping people like me
@@EnzoMucci thanks for the motivation 🙂👍
Would it be a big problem if I wanted to become an Indycar driver/racer (or whatever you wanna call it) if I live in England?, I’m 14 and I don’t know where to start as the main thing over here is formula 1 so I don’t know if there’s a particular karting place I need to go (because Indycar tracks make you do a left turn and F1 do both left and right turns), it kinda sad as Indy and nascar isn’t really recognised over here
Enzo Mucci ok thank you👌👍
this is my exact position too. im the same age and same position but dont know if itll be easy to want to becoma an indycar driver... any advice?
This is great, but what I want to know is how do you get a drive even if you have the money and everything. How would you get a deal with whatever team in the first place. How do you go about buying a car or getting a contract anyway?
Great Video Enzo, thanks for the great advice!
J E how’s it going? I’m 29 and I feel a calling to Motorsport
Thank you so much
I wanted to drive for Ferrari, got into a fight with my parents today, so I wanted to get some advice and I really liked it.
Enzo Mucci thanks you! I’ll be sure to check something out. Do you know of any books? Guides? Anything that relates to racing.
Hi Sir!!!
I'm an Automotive Design student and always wanted to become a professional racing driver whether it is formula1, LMPs, formulaE and etc. Because I'm now in UK and pursuing my Masters @ Coventry University, I thought that here I will have some opportunity and eminities around me to made my dream come true.
Please provide me some of the initiative approached steps to start my career towards becoming a professional driver.
Please Sir!!!
Sorry to say it mate but if you're at university that ship has long since sailed for you. Every F1 driver on the grid has been driving since long before they were teenagers.
I wanted to get into formula E
Let's be honest most of us are here cuz we ain't got money and we are talented but also we gotta consider in this only 20 people will make it to F1 or if you want any othertop-tiere racing like Nascar,Indycar,Touring in most of them only 20 drivers are racing and most of teams prefer experienced drivers so that would make it ten and considering all top-tier motorsports in the world that Maximum are like 15 only 150 people will make it to the top step so being talented is not only necessary it is being better than other talented people and that is actually all
Thank you for this video man. It definitely helped put me back on course. 🙏🏾
Since i remeber myself i love cars and racing...i am 20 yrs old i will start kart at genk at 21...and i will manage to have about 1 - 1,5 M.Can i join the f1 or f2 ?I mean i dont have the problem with the money....my problem is the age...
I'm 19 a real estate entrepreneur, I've made good money. All I need is some advice where to go what to do. Some one point in the right direction. I have the money. What do I do now!
SlickRickTheRuler sponser on me take that chsnce
19 idk where to start
Thanks bro really helpful
This is real for me man. I dont see the brigde to pass.poor me😔😔
Thx for going this
I am 14 years old and i cannot afford a gokart. Is there another way to reach wec or F1?
I’m afraid someone needs to pay for that car and team. Get into eSports, do some fun karting, and work your tail off to save up over the next 3 years to afford some cheap car racing. Then you take things from there.
Mate today with your computer you can make money ! Dropshipping, creating a brand or even investing in stocks is a simple way to make money. It’s simple but not easy. You’ll need to watch lots if tutorials for this
I am a f3 driver and it’s never to late don’t give up on your dream I still work hard trying to make it higher up any questions ask away I’ll see if I can help :)
yeah i have one .Am 16 years old now and i want to become an f1 Driver is it to late? i've done Karting when i was Little but then stopped (idk why) so i have all Basic knowlege i think
@@th3only113 yeah it's far too late. Most current f1 drivers raced karts competitively before they were even teenagers.
@@th3only113 No it’s not mate. Take a look at Jake Hughes, started at 16 too.

What if your country has 0 racing championships or tournaments, not even a karting place in the whole country?
Is go-karting a good way to 'practice' until you are old enough to drive?
Thanks for the fast reply! What should you start with when you can drive? Track days?
I'm going to take go-karting on some time this week or next week thanks to this video! I was that person sitting in my room looking at the dream but not doing anything toward it. This video instantly changed my mind, thank you!
Awesome , but can you tell me an example of the Mazda MX-5 championship that is in Germany ??
I'm 19 years old I I live in Africa, there's no racing enthusiasms, I'm looking forward to come study in the UK, my question is how would I start to become a formula 1 driver I have no budget
Im going to be a Formula 1 driver
If you're 19 and havent driven competitively you're never becoming an f1 driver. Most current f1 drivers started before they were 9 nevermind 19
@@EnzoMucci thanks enzo
Hi Enzo Mucci, My name is Aryan. I have a lot of experience in kart racing. I want to become a Formula 1 Driver. I have one question. How can I take part in a karting championship? I can't find any in the environment I am in.
where are you from? try find the nearest karting club to you and visit the place.
Hey Amir! Where do you live? Finding a karting championship can be hard depending on location, but we are happy to help if we can!
how much is formula ford ?
I don't care what championship I got to drive, I just wanna race.
I’m 17 and I been racing go carts for a while I’m good and I just don’t know how to actually become a race bc I race in little places that people go
Just to have fun but my dream is a race car driver and have no place to start at all
*Karts
Hey can i get some advice, I'm 13 I can already drive I drive my dads car but I can't race and I live in the Philippines there's not much races in here what should I do my parents has a history of engineering but they want me to be an architect ISO to but my passion is cars and racing what should I do
@@EnzoMucci thank you so much
What age do you think it would be too late to start karting?
This depends what your goal is. If it is to become a professional race driver then once you are old enough the drive cars, then you may as well go straight to cars. If you just want to have fun then there is no age limit
@@EnzoMucci thank you
At age of 25 can I start the career?
From where ?
How?
I will do a video on this for the next episode this Monday
I’m only 13 and I want to become a race car driver like my father, but I’m still young and I really want to become a race car driver. I have been participating in races, but I always landed 10th place. Is it normal to feel like I should give up? Or should I not give up?
never give up
How much I need to spend?
How do you move your race car from race to race?
By a trailer, it can be a bit costly cos you need a trailer and/or a car/van to pull it.
I'm 15, I'm not being big headed but I'm quite good at karting and could kinda afford it, what now ?
How is it I’m 15 too and want to start karting was it hard? Would love to start f4
@@saints_ no, it's good you just have to be good at it
@@sheff__8273 also you should check with someone else but if you want to make it to the next step maybe look for sponsors to afford getting into f4 and you might need some liscense
@@saints_ yeah definitely, I'm going to have a very good go at it and my parents have both agreed to it
@@sheff__8273 nice tell me how it goes
Woow! lovin this vid😍
I’ve never been in a race car but I want to get into it where do I start?? I need help!

Thnx brother♥️
Is there a way to contact you for more specific questions?
You have your own book on display in the background. Is is autographed as well? LawL
Is it too late to consider karting at the age of 16? I'd love to be a F1 driver one day.
SUB ZERO no not really, I’m 15 and starting soon but even being as old as 20 can have benefits if done right
Yeah definitely go for it, I just started last year and I was 16 as well.
Im starting at 16 too. My parents never let me start karting so i got a job and just bought a kart with a lo206
I am a very talented kart driver but I live in Macedonia, here we don't have any kart races, can someone help me to become a F1 driver
Realy good video
how old is too old to start racing?
Depends. If you're talking professional, elite level racing like F1, realistically youd have to be racing well before your teens
No deffo not formula 1 i know i'm too old for that but id love to get into touring cars, hatchbacks etc.
This video might help you answer this ua-cam.com/video/NgADp1d5mNc/v-deo.html
What is your contact email for questions? I would like to hear your opinion on something
How do you start small
I race in rotax max challenge Germany with the official Birel ART team
I'm 14 is it to late....... pls sugestions i don't have money for a racing school.😢😢😢
NO it’s not too late. And i’m bit late for the answer 😂
In which age I can start to this race?
@@EnzoMucci thanks a lot :) but one more question..in this country (Azerbaijan) didn't have a proffesional karting or others.. can i go to other countries to become a race driver?? Is other countries permiss that
I’m 13 and I have big dreams for being and F1 driver. I have little racing experience or any clue how to really start. This video helped, thanks!
Sei italiano?!
Hi Robby. My Father is Italian but I’m English. My Italian sucks 😀
