Man is there a place I could buy/download the .flac of your mixes? Long time fan and all your mixes are just so incredible
There isn't i'm afraid, I wouldn't be able to sell them for licensing reasons, and it's a bit tricky to provide stuff in super high quality if you're playing unreleased tracks, as artists get a bit annoyed when people 'rip' tracks from mixes to play in dj sets. I will keep my eye out for a potential way to do it if I become aware of one!

I was talking about this with someone on Facebook. I have made a fair few dnb bits over the years, was thinking of doing a free EP, but annoyingly the projects just don't open on my machine and I'm missing loads of the sounds, so it ended up being too much of a headache to do. Maybe I'll write some more again at some point...

Can you give me a time stamp at all? This mix got blocked for copyright stuff, which I managed to then sort out, but I'm wondering if that tune in question has something added to it. Let me know and I'll have a listen, but there wasn't anything in the background originally...

@@LuLuTheBard Thanks for getting back to me, had a quick listen, I think it's just the dissonance of the songs not being in the same or relative keys which is quite jarring. Perils of not being a dnb DJ and having any tracks that could have gone between these two. 99% of the time I key match tracks, which probably makes this stand out quite badly. I do remember it being an awkward mix, but when you focus on it, it is particularly nasty. So not supposed to be there, but the by product of clashing keys in the equal temperament system with some specific sounds in each track that really don't play nicely together!
@@phaeleh ok no, very fair, as a person who likes to switch from house to DnB and has an incredibly hard time with it I should’ve realized. I thought it was like something to prevent copyright but now I feel like an ass lol.
Nah you're all good, I remember being a bit annoyed the way those tunes mixed on the day, but just went with it. When I focussed on that section, it's even more annoying, so I totally get why if it caught your attention it would seem a bit weird!
