@@wesbates1143 Halford 100% could have sang this far more than he did. If he can sing Painkiller he can sing Dissident Aggressor. As is this one seems to have only lasted about three months before being dropped until 2008.
The intro scream is an E5, it probably would’ve been too intimidating for the crowd, plus it’s a lot of vocal strain when you have 18-20 songs to do. Halford hit a note one step up from the E5 at the beginning of the studio version. In 1984 in Montreal he hit a C6.
@@LoganFKhe’s hitting E5 throughout the song though, with ease. that wasn’t a stretch for him in ‘77. the tough decision for him would have which of the 3 notes to hit… as it’s a E,G,B combination on the studio recording.
Hi Metalmadtom Tom, where did you get this recording from? I've been collecting Priest shows since the 1980's and have never seen this! Do you have the rest of the show?
This is why Sin After Sin is my favorite album.
Oh,my god. Year 1977 and HEAVY METAL!!! I can't imagine crowd's face. They would be freakin' out.
Faces melted.
I couldn’t imagine being in the 70’s and this happening in front of me. My god !

Yeah Halford only have the ability to sing this song for a precious couple of years
Couple of years??? This came out in ‘77 and Halford was still top of his game well into the 90’s

The 1st song to show massive double bass drums! Thanks Mr Simon Phillips !!! You're one the godfathers of THRASH METAL!
Not, there are others before. Fireball by Deep Purple 1971, Sha La La by Thin Lizzy 1974.

@@LoganFK I hear you, as a singer you have to pace yourself. Especially a singer like Halford.
