What they would do here in Brazil during the interviews is ask the questions in English and then, at end, ask the same questions in Portuguese, so they could edit it and, when the interview aired, the questions would be made in Portuguese and the answers in English. What happened here is that she forgot to tell Freddie that, so he thought she was asking the same thing all over again as if she was stupid hahaha when she interviewed Madonna, she remembered to explain this so everything went way better

He's used to do that all the time. Back in the 70's a reporter asked him "what about being bent?" He replied "you're a crafty cow... " He never denied it. He never said I'm straight. He was never anything than what he was. I think he may have kept Jim out of press lenses during the 80's. I know he would often arrive at events with Mary and Jim would be behind, or arrive separately. Probably an arrangement they had to secure Jim's privacy as well as Freddie's. Later on he said in an interview that he was in a long term, stable relationship and that he was very happy.

But her lack of English proficiency is more of an overall problem for Brazilians as a people, less so than for the lady interviewer individually.

O nome disso é profissionalismo. No Brasil, quase ninguém é ou age profissionalmente. Preferem fazer tudo de qualquer jeito: ensina-se de qualquer jeito, aprende-se de qualquer jeito, faz-se de qualquer jeito. O resultado pode ser sintetizado na entrevista. Even if she did not explain it was easy to understand. That was typical for non-English speaking countries. Interviews were always edited.

Com certeza ela tava muito nervosa,pensa na responsabilidade de intrervistar o monstro do rock mundial lindo, maravilhoso do jeito que ele era, qualquer um ali no lugar dela tremeria nas bases,ela estava visivelmente emocionada e feinha também, más que foi vergonhoso foi, vergonha alheia,o que não deve ter passado pela cabeça do Freddie sobre esse país e seus jornalistas.

But her lack of English proficiency is more of an overall problem for Brazilians as a people, less so than for the lady interviewer individually.

Li quem dissesse que Gloria deveria ser valorizada e aplaudida, pois, mesmo inexperiente foi colocada para entrevistar uma lenda da música, de modo que ela é uma vencedora. Aí eu pergunto: "vencedora"? Por ter feito uma bosta de entrevista igual a essa?
Isso é que os brasileiros (com algumas exceções) parecem não conseguir entender. Pra ser um vencedor é necessário fazer o trabalho bem feito. Pra fazer o trabalho bem feito é necessária uma quantidade monumental de comprometimento, esforço e disposição para sofrer muito, até que se alcance o nível mínimo de excelência no que se faz. O nome disso é profissionalismo.
No Brasil, quase ninguém é ou age profissionalmente. Preferem fazer tudo de qualquer jeito: ensina-se de qualquer jeito, aprende-se de qualquer jeito, faz-se de qualquer jeito. O resultado pode ser sintetizado na entrevista. Trata-se da maior emissora de televisão do país, e o melhor que pôde oferecer para entrevistar o melhor cantor masculino de todos os tempos foi uma jornalista ignorante em música, em rock e quase analfabeta no idioma do entrevistado. O resultado só poderia ter sido um lixo
