I have one of these by Armi-Sport/ Chiappa. Great shooter (for a smoothbore). I also have the rifled barrel to swap out now and then.
You're not really being picky about the trigger guard. You should not have to repair a new gun. These guns sell fir iver $1k. They should be excellent when you buy them new. Have you dhot it yet?

How were the barrel bands? I have a pedersoli 1816 musket that you couldnt get the ramrod out, had to file it
They are properly fit.
