Before you carry, practice and maintain your weapon, skills, control and readyness. When you carry, remember that a situation is not like the movies. Your weapon is best used as a final solution, not as a threat and it is better NOT to be judged by 12 when that is an option. Make being judged by 12 rather than carried by 6 your last resort as the consequences last for a very long time for all involved.
Affirmative on that! - your first line of defense should be using eyes, ears and brain to avoid getting into a bad situation or in letting a situation turn bad on you. What you said there sounded just like something a firearms trainer would say! lol!
Would suggest you find a nicer backdrop for your videos than the inside of a dark vehicle….outside in nature maybe which is what boondocking is all about?
boondock camping imo is just common sense. if you don't have that, you shouldn't be out there. been camping my entire life and not a campground person. i like my privacy with peace and quiet and mother nature in all her glory. taught the hubs all he knows about camping since the first time i took him out. 😂 he fell in love with and enjoys it as much as i do. and there is no such thing as being prepared and ready for anything as anything can and will happen at any given time, thats why i have learned how to fix things well within my ability too. common sense, just learn it and use it. 👍🏼😁😎
@@thecoddiwomplers13 I agree - it’s kind of funny how some folks don’t really understand the whole concept of primitive camping 🏕️ lol! We’ve known some who have come along on our group camps and have difficulty and get frustrated with it because they didn’t think things through ahead of time… for example - using up all their fresh water and filling their grey tank, because of taking long hot showers lol 😂
My first boondocking experience a couple weeks ago was interrupted less than an hour into it by some guy driving along side me and telling me to move because my headlights were scaring his wife. I couldn’t even see him in the dark and wasn’t even aware that I was near anybody else. I just left because I couldn’t see anything and couldn’t tell if the guy was bigger than me or had any weapons or anything.

Good video on essential thoughts and ideas! My humble opinions on security; 1) beta males need not apply! 2) stay out of liberal run areas! Because, If you do have to defend you and yours, you'll be treated like the criminal! Not a good vacation, eh? 3) have multiple weapon systems and everyone know how to use! 4) carry a weapon 24/7! 5) ifak's for everyone! Plus elaborate first aid/bleed kit!
Nine minutes in, ya mention extra food. Nothing better than CANNED food. It will last decades, sits in storage easily, does not need refrigeration or freezing. You can stock any small place with extra cans of food.

ALWAYS CARRY !!
I second that!

Absolutely
Yep yep and yep!
I went straight to 3:18 like one commenter suggested - save time - and the four concerns are valid. Good info.
@@deborahsimpson2732 thanks for watching 😉
Growing up as a kid.. we made our own campsites as I recall. Of course my dad made his own roads too.
Thank you for sharing these ideas, vevy helpful.
Glad the video was helpful.

Some very good suggestions.
Great tips 😊
Thanks 🏕
Ive boondocked for 3.5mths a year in winter AZ. never had a single issue in 3 years 🙏
@@bobmartens1089 Good to hear 👍 we have only had a few minor issues ourselves 🙏 but I always keep my 👀 open.
There was a website that listed boondocking in a nj park, problem was they locked the gates at night.
Okay if you were not planning on an early start
@@raymondclark1785 Wow 😮 I guess so!

Lock n load, binoculars to scope who the neighbors may be, game cameras, trip wires 😂 just kidding! Maybe! We are in a dangerous world 😢

Your title misrepresents the video.
@@waynesaller Not at all - “Is it dangerous?” I have been asked that question many times before from people who have never done it…
Can you just put all wording instantly on the screen? The slow reveal from left to right is not helpful. Otherwise, great channel.
