Took the “Builder out to Seattle in 2018....scenery around the Puget Sound and coming through Glacier National Park was just great. Can’t stress enough how impressed I was. I will be making another trip soon to look at senior housing options for seniors like myself after the covid-19 shelter in place is lifted in Maryland, Illinois, and Washington.
7:53 While it's not obvious, lineside signals and equipment between here and Everett have been relocated far from the tracks so very wide Boeing containers could be transported to its Everett plant (note pier here where the offloading was moved). These extra wide container trains ran only at night with no trains allowed on the other track. The track (8:14) from here up Japanese Gulch to the Boeing plant is the steepest RR grade in the country--over 5 percent--as locos push loads up the hill rather than tow them.

Those are cabless GP60B diesels, purchased by the Santa Fe before the BNSF merger.
Thanks for the video mate.If you are a individual traveller do you have to share with someone else in the Amtrak "Roomettes"?
No.
it`s interesting
How does a single track passenger train line work?
Basically they take turns. Signals at each end of a single track section indicate when a train has permission to proceed.
lots of CTC...
