(11/08/2022) When Amtrak brought back the Cascades service up to Vancouver, BC in 2022 after an almost 3 year outage due to the pandemic, most of the Talgo fleet had been retired, so they brought in some Horizon cars that had previously been used in the midwest fleet. This trip report takes me from where I stayed in Everett back home to Vancouver, BC, including my public transit journey out to the suburbs.
