@@areyouavinalaff yeah I have...tho he is clearly a genius ..he ain't my cup of tea to be honest..music style wise....I'm more 60s.70s.rock..grunge ..folk blues..love roots reggae...all sorts...tho I enjoy what he does...its just not my style...like Eddie van halen...i think the guy is amazing ..and i get it ..... but i didn't like van halen much...some of the sammy stuff ain't bad......after being a fan of acdc..thin lizzy .motorhead..hendrix ....they all seemed a bit too pop and 80s for me as a kid in the 80s...I was back in time ..untill nirvana ...and nirvana taught me to play guitar basically ......along with early oasis and stuff.. and I was mad in to sonic youth. Mudhoney..pixies...mission of burma..screaming trees etc.....than metal...or motley crue ..didn't mind guns n roses...but not for me all that make up n 80s rock ...I love the doors...I like dave cos he is melodic ..and i like the red hot chilly peppers and I just like the guy.....if ya get me..... I pick up loads of stuff from dave ..his videos on hendrix are wicked ..digs deep ..and I like that about him. Any how had a few beers n a few smokes

I could listen to you play like that all day every day and be in my happiest of places.
You are without doubt one of the very few guitarists nowadays that takes us away from planet earth on a very pleasing journey through the stars Dave! I have a lovely Oswald reliced Tele 60s copy of John Anthony Frusciante that he can be seen playing in many pics.Nick Oswald even put the RHCP logo inlay on the 12 fret its a beauty, would love to hear you playing it as i don't do it any justice.

As an hollow body offset player, I both strongly approve of this, and, will unashamedly say this is my favorite guitar of yours. That switch placement is devine.
Look into Bilt guitars. My customer SS zaftig with jazzmaster trem and wide range humbuckers just kills.
This has me wanting Master Nuck to build me an offset, hoping he will ship to Texas.

It's very, very difficult to find appealing, original guitar designs. This looks fantastic IMO. I'm also critical of pickguard shapes and this one also passes my filters. Excellent work Nick and excellent playing as always Dave.
I like semi hollows so maybe hollow is my next step followed by hollow on the outside and solid inside. I tried to draw that and it's coming out as just being a solid body guitar with air around it.

I just had a nosey on the Oswald web site and was shocked how inexpensive Nicks guitars are, for a boutique guitar with these specs I expected the stock guitars to be more expensive than they are!

Hi Dave, I used to have an Oswald by Gibson LP and wish I had kept it, the build quality and tone was top drawer, Its nice to see something different with the Oswald banner, although it is not Oswald by Gibson, Is it a true coil tap or a split?
I wanted to ask how people get on with their neighbours? regarding their guitar practice.
I don't practice during the day as my neighbour works nights, but considering he is sometimes drilling into the walls after midnight with his DIY exploits, I find myself asking why I am so accommodating!
