Hello! I appreciate this video and it is easy to follow, it would be nice if you can upload videos about real case of rainfall-runoff with pre-/post-processing with QGIS. Many thanks

Thank you! I get it, qgis is free! I’ll see if I can put something together. In terms of the “real case” most of the work I’ve done has been determining the peak runoff and creating simple, triangular hydrograph with that as the Max flow. Is that what you’re thinking? Thx!

If Stream Stats is giving me peak-flow flood characteristics in terms of "AEP" instead of 100 and 50 year, how do I get it to report the second?

Great question! Aep or “annual exceedance probability” is the inverse of the conventional yr storm. 1% aep= 100 yr flood; 2%= 50 yr; 10%=10 yr and so on.

im from michigan and the stream stats is not aviable , how can i do it?

I’m not sure what is available in Michigan in terms of regression equations. Stream stats could still be used to access historical flow and stream gauge information, which could then help you calculate peak flow for your site. More work, unfortunately :(

    How to determine slope

Good question! In RAS Mapper, use the measure distance slope and that should automatically calculate a slope for you. Also in the geometry editor you can use the measure line command (hold control and click two points). Hope that helps!
