Jim Perry loved to give away his producers money, he was one of the best emcees, can't believe he's gone a year already.

I Tell you, If SALE OF THE CENTURY came back, I Want the Shopping Format, and I Want the Cash Jackpot included with the Prizes.

That would be cool. I preferred the shopping format over anything else.

That sound when they gave the $20 to the 3 players sounded like a doorbell.

this show, Just Men & Hit Man were the 3 shows that NBC premiered & revived their game show block since all they played from April 26, 1982 to December 31, 1982 was just Wheel Of Fortune while CBS was playing Tattletales(2nd run), The Price Is Right, $25,000 Pyramid & Child's Play. ABC only played Family Feud until October 8, 1984 when Trivia Trap premiered :)

+JEM Queen Now we have the first Sale & first Hit Man. all we need's the first Just Men! I know the Ford Mustang Convertible was won that day.

agreed since all there is a few episodes of Just Men but not the premiere episode, just a clip of the car starting. It's amazing that this show lasted over 6 years on NBC mostly played @ 10:30am

+JEM Queen The car starting clip happened in the middle of the series run, cause Betty mentioned, "3 cars in a row!" (it went to 4).
When I saw those balloons drop, it reminded me of another ladies only game show, The New Treasure Hunt. Who knew that 10 years later after the debut of Just Men!, I'd have more rotten luck when my (then) Houston Oilers lost to the Buffalo Bills in that infamous AFC Wild Card Game.

well The New Treasure Hunt was an amazing show since it was done with pure luck by having a ton of amazing prizes, big cash payoffs & funny klunks that made the shows very popular from 1973 to 1977 & 1981 to 1982. Geoff Edwards was doing Jackpot! on NBC & Shoot For The Stars while doing the long Syndicated series which i think was amazing, too bad there isn't any vids of both series thanks to UA-cam pulling out almost all of Bob Stewart series on here which pisses me off, he did some amazing series, my fav Bob Stewart series were Eye Guess, Three On A Match, Pass The Buck, The Pyramids from 1973-1981 & Chain Reaction('80 NBC series) which were all funny challenging & entertaining to the masses

When was Win the Lot & Win the Lot + Cash Jackpot added. Never saw from the beginning since it never aired in South Florida except the short night time version & when the network bought the station somewhere in 1988.

I worked as a PA on the show with Jim and Lee. during 83 season. I made an on camera appearance after LEE REMING had her baby and I am trying to find a copy of the episode. Does anyone have any info at all how to browse thru episodes of that time period? Thanks
