Hi,great video,have a ere 616,noticed you are using a screwdriver to open cams to release door is that on all era locks, Rich Door is in locked position , key will only turn to lock position ,but not to unlock.
Great video mate. I'm thinking you could open it to lift the levers using the key and pri back the bolt? I've got one of these to do in a couple of days in the past I had to literally get angle grinder and cut the bolt and hooks
Lovely video pal, never come across a failed Vectis yet (thank god!)? Just out of curiosity is an ERA euro deadbolt gearbox compatible with the mech that was in the door or did you have to replace the full thing?!Good work 💪🏻🔑
I've had couple of theese failed ,best option I find flat screw driver to remove metal plate on front ,comes of easy ,insert key turn to 12 clock you can see it left the levers then pull the latch across with small screw driver ,problem is the new one I've fitted know doing same months on ,cheap shit

Yes it’s compatible. You can just swap the gearbox
