A "Mandela effect" memory I have is of Mark actually starring in David Lynch's Dune instead of Kyle MacLachlan. I remember clear as day being twelve and watching the shield practise scene, geeking out over how amazing it was that Luke Skywalker and Captain Picard were in a movie together.
Too bad that didn't happen in real life. I don't think the studios at the time would have let Luke Skywalker play in another space fantasy movie. Also, Dune came out before Star Trek: The Next Generation. Would have been cool though.

The closest we will ever have to an actual Star Wars vs Star Trek Battle of Wits. Nice to see these two on the same screen, though.
Unfortunately, with the way it was filmed, it's completely possible they weren't both there at the same time.
