Eating whole, unprocessed, plant foods is huge. I’ve started sharing videos on my UA-cam channel about how we have kept this sustainable for our family of four for the past fourteen years. It really can be simple.

A good conversation! The second time I tried Weight Watchers I also gained weight. I am a senior in my 70’s , plant based for 41/2 years now, aiming to make these years as healthy as possible.

Amazing what our parents do to some of us. My mother also shamed me about my weight when I was young and when I look at photos of me from school I was not overweight at all. I hope this lady will achieve peace with her eating. I am also 65 and on the similar journey to her.

Chef AJ- I love all your videos. My husband needs to lose 150 pounds. He is a heavy equipment operator. He has been listening to your videos (yay!) Do you still sell the calorie density magnets? Again thank you, thank you!

That’s right about losing the last few lbs. I need to lose 4 or 5 pounds. People have a tendency to say to me ,that’s nothing. They don’t realize that my setpoint has been set at that 5 pounds up and it’s really hard to get it down to where I want it to be. Losing those four or5 pounds would be equivalent of 30 to 40 to someone with a lot more weight. So everybody has the same journey even though it seems like they’re closer to the end it’s not always so.Weight regain is always sitting over there doing push-ups waiting for you to fail. It’s also why you don’t want to lose it too fast. It just rebounds back and more.💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

That’s a fantastic point!! I keep putting on a few pounds after bringing oats into my morning. I’ll do it twice in a row then run back to my cabbages to get those couple pounds off. Like you said, it’s doing push-ups waiting for us to fail and overindulge.
I have to say I consider myself lucky now that oats with mashed, steamed carrots is my junk food - but still. It’s crazy to see the little tolerance our bodies have when it comes to how little is required to put weight on.
      Onward, friend 👊🏼
