Got that big daddy jacket on. Only $20 a week for 36 months, or free with any $50,000.00 tool box purchase. Really good and helpful video, yet again. It’s amazing the difference them tiny little panel lines make.
For sure, the box was only 40,000 lol, that jacket is about 8 years old, I have a closet full of them and rotate them around time to time. You get a collection after 30 yrs.. I like the panel like the treatment early on looks good, was one of those lets try this and see if it works.. Have a good one Paul!
Thank you Kreg for showing the steps and an different way to hold on to them.
I like the Tamiya stand, have dropped a few with it not holding on to it just right, this is what I have used before the paint stands.. Have a good one Phil!
From what I’ve watched the GTO JUDGE looks great! I can’t wait to see it complete. 👍
Nice tutorial on preparing for paint. This is very useful information. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Michael, really appreciate it!
Great video from start to finish 👍🏿
Great job Kreg!
Hay Kreg, were behind on videos so today your the guy! Lol I had a Snap-On jacket years ago but I think mine was red and black accents. Cool series again!
LLAP 🖖
I've been looking at a scriber tool set in Hobby Lobby.
Just bought a manual drill and bit set there.
Getting closer to actually building something now, after years away from doing that, with work demands always taking priority until I retired.
I like that Snap-On jacket you wore!
I appreciate these videos
Thanks, will probably be about three more for the final paint series..
Looking great Kreg great tip with the panel line
I have found that using the back of the blade tha it scribes the line whereas if I use the blade the way you are it cuts a line. Might be just me, but might be worth trying. Good series so far. Great tip on using panelline early in the process
This is coming out great! One thing that I added to my painting routine is the Tamiya anti static brush. That has turned out to be a must have and must use to cut down on any dust in my paint jobs.
Thanks, I will have to look into that, Thanks.. Sometimes the micro towels will snag too much..
You can make your own scriber by using a straight pin and a mechanical pencil.
That's awesome, would have not thought of that, I see a few use the back of a #11, I find it rolls the plastic some. Thanks Robert!
Thanks for doing this series. I am in the middle of airbrushing my first kit...other than 1 kit years ago using canned air. I am learning a good bit from you sir.
Your welcome! Always like trying to help out when I can, the more you use that airbrush will be like second nature to you.. Have fun with it!
@@kregskorner8851 What grit did you wet sand the primer? I watched end of 1st and beginning of part 2 and can’t catch it.
My model is looking good Kreg ❤😂😊
I don't like scribing wiyh a blade. I'm clumsy with this, I tend to deviate from paneline and it is to narrow. I prefer the appropriate scriber pen. Personally I use the tamiya's pen with 0.3mm blade. I am doing better with this one.
I hear you on that, I need to get some of the Tamiya Scribers, the blade at times seem to roll the edge of the seems and then have to sand back down.. Might have to be on my next order.. Have a good one!
What grit did you use to wet sand the primer?
Why didn’t you do the floor?
Not sure, I guess I just do my lacquer on the plastic for the interior, has always turned out good.. Have a good one Phil!
