look at the ford motorcompany gasket sealer we use on 7.3's it works amazing. i did the front cover on my cummins and used it, works great, its great stuff

I got mine together and found the snap ring for the planetary... crud !!! BUt I had to clean all the seal up and do it over... luckily it wasn't in the truck. Nice Work :)

Got some help from the FB forums. 15/16” & 1” wrench and she popped right open.
