- Next in this cross country series, I decide to visit abandoned ghost town, @GhostTownLiving's Cerro Gordo. @AstheMagpieFlies comes along. What we don’t realize, is that the road to get there will be one of the the most insane roads we've ever ridden... well... that I've ever ridden.

Reminds me of Scooby Doo and the mystery of the Ole miner 49er.

OG Scooby Doo Rooby Rooo!
Are looy-toons violent or woke happened?
"we had fuuuun" "did we?" 🤣🤣. glad Amanda was ok. cool place. good vid
Ah, the question of fun at the end and the response: "did we?" I can relate!! But that is how memories are made. Good on you, Doodle!
It might not of seemed like so much fun when you were going through it. but it was an adventure and someday when you are older you will look back on this as the good old days.
*I've grown up half my life camping, dune buggy, motorcycle riding, water skiing, snow skiing, etc... figuring out how to get out of a situation when things go wrong is part of the adventure. I would have loved to have been on that trip with you.*
I was on the edge of my couch watching the both of you! Woohoo!! You made it!! Way to go!!! ❤️😊🤟🏼🔥🔥
Awesome ride ladies - and that guys is the eternal optimist!
Love that kid of undisturbed history!
Hard to believe 4,000 folks once lived there - we have it so easy! 🙏🏼
I applaud you for your adventurous spirit. You train, you tour you stretch your skills.
Caroline, great adventures, I love them, just goes to show you what is out there to see & cherish beyond our day to day existence. I am very thankful for your enthusiasm to showcase the ‘different’. Keep up the great work. Cheers ✌️🏍️💜
Love it, love it.. Off the beaten path trips like this makes your vids a must watch Doodle
Glad you ladies had fun and made it there and back safely. Good thing she took the lead, as it could've been worse had she gotten pinned under her bike with you ahead of her. Thanks for another great video.
It's an amazing place. The last time I rode up there, was shortly before Brent bought it. I rode out the other side...into Death Valley. The road east is MUCH worse than the main road!
Just WOW! and OMG! Great adventure, share and Video! THANKS MUCH for sharing! ALL the BEST and Cheers! :)
Really enjoy your travels.
Very glad you have another rider with you, go girls 🎉😊
A great adventure. I really like seeing you and Amanda together. Thanks for a fun video to watch while drinking my morning coffee. So I am living in Connecticut. There is a lot of great riding and adventures here in New England. Do you have any plans to explore New England?
Yay Cerra gordo!! Another great UA-cam channel!
Really love this kind of content! You should really do some more trails around the mountain and see how things are working out in that ghost town next year!
Awesome that you got to see Cerro Gordo! Been watching his 'adventures' for a while now.
Flair has a missal bunker for sale!
Spectacular tour. Glad you were there to help your friend. I needed that one time pinned under mine.
For sure the wrong time of year to go up there. Never miss a video from Brent it's been great watching his adventures in Cerro Gordo.
ADVENTURE!
Doodle: Did we have fun? Did we?
Magpie: Yes!
Great video - but shows the disadvantage of using "heavy" adventure bikes for off roading!
That's dirt bike territory. Not baggers like that.
Why people and especially inexperienced riders buy big heavy bikes they struggle with is beyond me. You 2 should be on 125 2 strokes having fun and gaining skills
What a great place to visit... ok, season might have been off by a month. You did it.... all any of us want.
Amanda is one tough girl. I have always been impressed with her.
What an awesome adventure and thanks for sharing the history.
I saw Amanda's side of this earlier, it seems like the two of you had a time that you'll realize was great...after you're warmed up and safe. 😁 Looks like a great adventure with a fun person, the best sort of time.
Really enjoyed it. Thank you!
The best Type-II-fun possible 😂😂😂
that is amazing about that sign from the 1800's is still there.
That is so cool !!!!
Great video!!!!!
Very cool! Thanks for sharing!
You ladies flat out ROCK👍👍…. U2 make a heck of a team, and it would be really cool to see you both ride around the world someday together. Anyhow, peace to the both of you, and may you both keep the rubber side up, and enjoy life to the fullest.
Very nice video , thanks for sharing
Oh Doodle You made this old Montana boy laugh. Amanda is so used to that kind of weather and mountain back roads she just takes it in stride as do I having ridden many such roads in my younger days. You did great! After you do roads and places like this a few times you won't give it a second thought you will just do it. It is fun once your used to doing the thing as Amada says. You are the best Doodle. Keep up the good work.
Wow, awesome Doodle. Haven't tuned in awhile but that was cool. So, missile silo...okay you got me hooked for the next vid.
You realy inspire me dear...much love from Kenya 🇰🇪 ❤
Thanks for sharing. Very interesting video 😊👍🙏
to cool!!! enjoyed this
Brent had a positive vibe. Extremely alert and sharp with a nice calming but enthusiastic demeanour. Would be a great guy to shoot the breeze with.
Good fun to 'ride along'... Might have been cool to hear what his dirt bike was...
Well done Miss Doodle. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Most of them time I wish I was riding with you, sometimes I'm glad I'm not. God bless, ride safe,
😂
Great content. Never quit. You 2are great
Well this is odd.. three of my favorite channels converged in a single episode.
I can’t believe he is still alive. Some of the things he did at the beginning of his adventure.
Wow just wow this was fantastic I see this being a visitor center Museum Ski Resort with plush living and accommodations in the future
Here in the Pacific North West there are a few roads that are typically not clear of snow until between early June and mid July. Most of these roads they don't clear the snow from. It just melts away. These are some of the roads that attract riders into adventure riding. Living in the Portland Oregon Amanda is much more use to encountering snow.
Somethings to put this into perspective. Here in the greater Seattle Washington area we have already been over 80 deg F a few times this year. But one of my favorite roads that only reaches 4500 feet elevation only became snow free about a week ago. Last year that didn't happen until July. Also, I was invited to go backcountry skiing today. But in the fall most of these roads will remain open until between late October to late November. All of this does seem odd to many people from other parts of the USA.
Amazing adventure and town!!
All's well that ends well! Fascinating place and I love the concept of getting off the beaten path but you can only mitigate the risks you are aware of. I wonder if better planning/research would have spoiled the adventure or added to the enjoyment? Very interesting and enjoyable video at this end.
Oh, come on! That’s why we ride! It’s an adventure and nothing is perfect the weather the drop bikes, enjoy the ride and I enjoyed your Vlog,Kick stands up!!!❤🤙🏼
What a great adventure! Awesome!
I really do enjoy your videos, thank you.
congrates and thanks great journey
Bravos Mesdames
J’aime beaucoup vos vidéos.
Ici au Canada , Québec
no one can stop the wind neither can you❤❤👌👌👍👍💕💕
great Vid Doodle.. & l hate the cold.. could never ride there lol..... cheers from Down Under.....
Yup... Ice and snow and trying to balance a bike don't go well together.
Same thing happened to me at BMW motorad. Never ride alone. (Those bikes are heavy)
Oh and great sponsor integration into your video. Good for you.
You got out and did the thing .. at 8000’ - good on ya doodle.
What a cool place - I love historic places like this! Sweden also has a lot of old mines (iron mostly), but no real ghost towns. And that shop was really something like a time capsule! One good idea for the next side trip like this one might be to leave most of the luggage somewhere at a trustworthy place and just take the essentials. But that's of course easy to say if you don't know what lies ahead. Well done girls, you made it up and down - and really severe road conditions! :-)
What an adventure steeped in history! I'm so happy you didn't get hurt (minus some leg bruising!) on your ghost town quest! Keep the rubber side down and your body on the top of the bike! Thanks for sharing this amazing trip with us. You guys rock!
Another great video . Cool place I don't know if I would spend 1.5 million for it. Cool he trying to preserve history thoe
Good episode. Its got a story.
You should go check out vulture city in Arizona. Very cool. Easy access off vulture mine road
Good one.
Awesome adventure
I’m glad she’s ok, but you should also unload the bike if it’s trapping someone! Stay safe ❤
well daumn ladies. Out there being incredible 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪 =D
Crazy you watch Brent too!
I don't know about you,but I had fun watching 😂❤👍👍
We had fun…. Did we?… I laughed out loud at that
Wait you went to freakin cerro gordo!?!? Epic. I love that
Been waiting for this one since i saw it on amandas channel
Hardcore as it gets.
What an adventure! Glad you are all okay. That was quite harry there. Thanks for the video!!
You're so brave.
Well done
Brrrrrr, I love skiing in snow and cold but motorcycling maybe not do much. Gnarly young ladies!
I agree 😅
Chica, There is a reason roads are paved. Try to remember that.
hey, youve gone to cerro gordo. I have been following Brent from nearly the beginning. Always wanted to go up the 7 miles to the town on a bike.
Awesome video 😂
Maybe you should try a can am Riker / spider that would eliminate all the bike dropping , just a thought
@DoodleOnAMotorcycle
Would you’d be willing to share your motorcycle, tire specs, other relevant accessories, and riding gear for on & light off-road riding?
Thx 🙏 I really enjoy your channel and videos 🙂
You are a real trooper and adventurer 😮. Safe travels 😊
Very cool! Thanks for taking this adventure on. I proposed this as a group ride years ago and the group leader never accepted the idea. You have provided great insight on how adventurous this journey is. Thanks to both of you.
Hardcore adventure ladies! Way to persevere. Glad nobody got badly hurt. What an incredible experience. 😮❤
Thanks for sharing your experience
Where can i find that lite for the back of your helmet to warn traffic?
Very nice! I never heard of this place before and my GOOGLE search says it's in California. You did not mention how cold it was there and how far the ride up to the Ghost Town. At least I don't recall but I am curious. I would not ride in those conditions now too cold and dangerous. Thanks
Good job keep it up and Magpie is a blast.
I didnt think I would see Doodle go to Saro Gordo.
Mt. Washington had snow recently here in NH. Never assume weather in high elevations. Just saying. Luv you sweetie, stay safe. Maybe you should try the100th Anniversary of Laconia here in NH? Just saying....
Great video thank you very well done. Two of my favorite girls thanks for taking us along cheers to ya.
Awesome mini documentary. It's a great way of us non USA people to experiance your beautiful country. We're going to have to start calling you "Doco Doodle" 😂😂😂❤
Interesting history lesson; I am glad you and Amanda made it out safely….
Not too far from Las Vegas. Going to have to put it on our list of places to go visit. Looks like a fun place to visit. Thanks for the video and keep them coming.
cool adventure tough gals
Planning trips is super easy these days.
I'm amazed you linked up with another youtuber to boost each others channels and didn't discuss the altitude, let alone look at the route before leaving.
Sounds bs to me.
