Fun fact: That "screaming gun" from Borderlands 2 is impossible to mute via in-game settings. If you turn down every single volume option, it will still be heard no matter what. Unless of course you mute your computer itself.
It's built up as this powerful cursed gun that drove people to insanity. Then when you get it you find out the curse is it making annoying screaming noises.
The Chaos Dragoness highly agree there; I was soooo happy that those near-permanent HMs were gone! Plus the Ride Pokémon are pretty cool; Tauros Charge for days! XD
I'd agree, if they actually removed them. But no. Now you just rent pokemon to use HMs instead. Fan games have done this better; Nintendo need to up their game.

It was Nineteen Dickety 4, we didn't have a 20 because the Kaiser stole it. I chased him dickety 9 miles before I gave up. I must be the only trainer in the world who's never had a need HM slave XD Either I replace moves I don't really need, or said HM becomes a part of my team and grows with the rest of them.
@@NachoCheeseDorito-Kun Actually, I've never had an HM slave either. Every single HM has gone onto a Pokemon that has been a legit part of my team. I mean, I suppose my Gyarados in Omega Ruby may as well have been an HM Slave considering the amount of water-themed HMs you have, but whatevs. XD
Realises is also a correct spelling of realize, it's just that people use realize more in the US and Canada, outside America, people usually use realise. So, realise is also correct.
My guess for the in-world explanation for the giant's knife, is that the steel used was hardened all the way through. If I remember correctly, swords need to be harder and more brittle on the outside to resist wear, but softer and more flexible on the inside to resist snapping.
I’ve heard it’s actually supposed to be used to deflect the bombs that passersby drop near you, rather than to attack enemies. Still not very useful though.
I actually want a remake of the first TMNT game for the NES. IT could include a shop with items like Revives, you could invest points in Donnie's lab to get better stuff like a scanner to track the Technodrome, better defense, ELECTRICITY PROOF ARMOR! Heck you could fix the Sai problem by making them slightly longer or make him even more powerful, being good for bosses.
I feel like the Volcano Fragment would be better if they did one of the following... A) Give it increased afterburn time and/or damage B) Made the Fragment do more damage IF your flamethrower is depleted C) Made it meant to be used with Airblasting (I.E. Hit target with Fragment and airblast them to increase burn time) D) Allow it to apply afterburn underwater E) Make the Fragment do more damage to other pyros

Flash was easily the worst HM until Gen 4, where its accuracy shot up to 100% and was made a TM instead. Whirlpool is pretty bad too but it's only an HM in the Johto games. +Mark Hashman Actually you're both wrong. Sand Attack can hit flying/levitating opponents, and Flash can hit Ghost types. Flash is perfectly viable as an evasion move, and thus isn't worse than Cut. As for those other moves you mentioned, those are moves with a CHANCE to lower accuracy. In other words, they don't reliably produce the effect desired. It would be like trying to paralyse an opponent with Thunderbolt - possible, but unlikely
Oh, was I mistaken on that point? My bad, I just haven't used either move in ages -- I was working off an assumption. Mea culpa, and all that. I suppose the value of both moves ultimately boils down to a preference in battle style. For me, there's not much use in reducing accuracy or buffing evasion at the exclusion of attacking -- stat modifiers as secondary effects are preferable, so I can actively turn the battle towards my advantage in two different ways at the same time. So guaranteed damage plus a chance of stat reduction is, for me at least, a better deal than guaranteed stat reduction with no damage.
Nintendo: hey remember how everyone loved the giant's knife so much in ocarina of time? well... let's make every weapon in breath of the wild a "giant's knife"

The thing about the spring mushroom is you only need it for Toy Time's third star, where there isn't a wall to wall jump off of after backwards somersaulting and spinning. You could never pick up the item in SMG2 because it's only in one level and you can backwards somersault over the chomps and gaps.
Here's another contender for you - the Wooden Stick from Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within. It has the smallest combo opportunity of any weapon in the game (2 - that's even lower than the offhand weapons which you can claim from any recently-vanquished enemy), and does the least damage of any weapon with the possible exception of the offhand dagger Akra. The only reason you use one is because at that point in the narrative, you've washed up on the Island Of Time and your trusty Eagle Sword has been lost to the oceans. You just pick it up and start flailing away at birds. That's all it's good for.
Pikachu 25 everything Too many shooter games DLC Microtransactions Phone games Money hungry companies The lack of unique exclusive games on the Xbox one And on PS4, the only one I can think of is crash bandicoot n-sane trilogy, which is going to be multi-platform later this year anyway Necessary accessories that don’t come with consoles The fact that a single game costs $60 when it costs probably $5 to produce People that think PUBG is better than fortnite
How soon we forget of the spoon from the infamous Chex Quest game! The worst part was advancing to the last level, running out of all your ammunition and being forced to fight with the spoon.
they have pretty good DPS (Platinum Shortsword is actually higher DPS than a Mythril Sword) and are very cheap to craft, I wouldn't call them anything close to useless though I don't think they're great either
I'd like to note that if you ever do another of these, all the stealth powers in the PC game DARK qualify. In a game where one of the first powers your alleged-vampire with a fatal allergy to bullets can learn is "Instantly snap target enemy's neck at thirty metres", the stealth powers include "Distract a single enemy up to two metres away from you for two seconds". If you're that close, you can just eat them and knock them out to begin with.
Have you gone back to Galaxy 1 and used it? I feel your opinion would change. I personally found its controls abysma in 2007, and abysmal in 2017 in part due to the level design and motion control
my least favorite part about spring mario is that it's not even neccessary. With a backflip and a spin, you can basically get to anywhere you'd need to reach with spring mario.
The funniest thing about TK's wave being horrible is that for Borderlands 2 and the claptrap DLC. They have a section where you help a digital reconstruction of TK, and his reward for you is the "Tidal wave". Which is an homage to the TK's Wave with the same wave-patterned shot in a pink color scheme to match the pink DLC guns. It's just as bad as it always was, so this time it's more like a joke weapon
For some reason this reminds me of some of the achievements in Star Ocean: Til The End Of Time, there were a lot of cool weapons but if you wanted to get the in game achievements you had to beat most of the bosses using the metal pipe you get at the beginning of the game.
What about the straight sword hilt from Dark Souls? The weapon description literally reads: "The hilt of this lost sword was found discarded in the Undead Asylum. Only slightly better than one's bare hands, and not recommended for extensive use. Be certain to find a replacement quickly."
One nice thing I can say about the Giant's Knife is that you cheese Dark Link with a broken one. As for my suggestion for next weeks topic top five hardest bosses in RPGs?
For some reason when I heard the song after the intro I was thinking COOOOOOFFEE SOOOOOOODA TOOOOOFFFFEEEEE PAAAAAAAASTAAAAAA GIIIIIVE MEEEEEE SOOOOOMETHIIIIING
Good choice for number 1, although it could be argued that the axe is even worse since it doesn't go away when it hits an enemy, meaning you can only have 2 on screen at a time. That pretty much makes Stage 2 unwinnable.
There is a slightly bigger victory, but only over *one* of the other Turtles' weapons: the bo. As hard as the bo hits, there are angles of attack that an enemy can take that are kind of outside of its hitbox if you don't do something extra such as jump or hold a vertical direction as you press B. Meanwhile, Raph just twirls his sai and laughs at these angles. ...All things considered, though, you are still better served by using Leo or Mike, who also have these angles covered in addition to having better range. In a way, you could say Raph is the best Turtle for the underwater area, in that he's the most expendable.
I feel like nominating two copy abilities for honorable mentions: Ball Kirby from Kirby's Adventure/ Nightmare in Dreamland and Metal Kirby from Squeak Squad. Ball Kirby, while powerful, needs to build enough momentum before you have a chance to attack, and once you do have momentum, you move so fast you nearly lose control. Metal Kirby acts like a permanent Stone Kirby, invincibility and all, except you move as fast as a glacier and are so heavy that platforming is damn near impossible. They have their benefits in brief bouts of invulnerability, but both games include the near-invulnerable Tornado anyway, so they're horribly outclassed.
I think that even though there's a limited amount of appearances for the guns in borderlands (I believe the games mix and match parts from the various manufacturers to make the appearances, at least on the most randomly generated guns) they get the actual weapon count into the millions by factoring in things like leveled variants of the guns, the ability for a non-quest version to drop later on, etc into their calculations. While, technically, they are correct, it does lead to some of the truly worst guns in the series. TK's Wave is the Best Worst gun, because people remember it exists. The true worst guns are those that nobody even remembers. The random grays dropped by enemies that you only ever pick up when there's a vending machine like, 20 feet away and you could use the cash. The ones that nobody even remembers. Those are the worst weapons in games, not because they're terrible, but because nobody remembers they existed.
curse eye with lillith is pretty good, she doesnt have the negative effect since she cant shoot tears and the incubus automatically releases a full shot with the cursed eye, if your at max tear rate you essentially cuadruple your dps
Fun fact: That "screaming gun" from Borderlands 2 is impossible to mute via in-game settings. If you turn down every single volume option, it will still be heard no matter what. Unless of course you mute your computer itself.
Angel Flash the bane... I would use it in multiplayer only when we fought terramorphus I was such a dick
I never played Borderlands 2, so I can I ask why the gun can scream?
It's cursed.
It's built up as this powerful cursed gun that drove people to insanity. Then when you get it you find out the curse is it making annoying screaming noises.
Angel Flash there's also a glitch where if you use it a specific way the sound transfers to anothe gun and it wont go away

A Random Idiot Play's A fifth Bubsy game, Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back, was announced at E3.
Lol @ this
The thing about the spring mushroom is you only need it for Toy Time's third star, where there isn't a wall to wall jump off of after backwards somersaulting and spinning. You could never pick up the item in SMG2 because it's only in one level and you can backwards somersault over the chomps and gaps.

top 10 weakest characters in video games
Laurence Walters easy number 1 is the lost
Here's another contender for you - the Wooden Stick from Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within. It has the smallest combo opportunity of any weapon in the game (2 - that's even lower than the offhand weapons which you can claim from any recently-vanquished enemy), and does the least damage of any weapon with the possible exception of the offhand dagger Akra. The only reason you use one is because at that point in the narrative, you've washed up on the Island Of Time and your trusty Eagle Sword has been lost to the oceans. You just pick it up and start flailing away at birds. That's all it's good for.
How about top ten things that are wrong with the modern video game industry
Pikachu 25 the only ones I can think of are micro transactions and Dlc done poorly.
Reboots that remove the fun and random loot boxes you have to pay for.
Paid loot boxes are micro transactions to be fair
Pikachu 25 Hasn't Rabbid made a countdown called, "Top Five Worst Things About Modern Gaming"?
Pikachu 25 everything
Too many shooter games
DLC
Microtransactions
Phone games
Money hungry companies
The lack of unique exclusive games on the Xbox one
And on PS4, the only one I can think of is crash bandicoot n-sane trilogy, which is going to be multi-platform later this year anyway
Necessary accessories that don’t come with consoles
The fact that a single game costs $60 when it costs probably $5 to produce
People that think PUBG is better than fortnite
How soon we forget of the spoon from the infamous Chex Quest game! The worst part was advancing to the last level, running out of all your ammunition and being forced to fight with the spoon.
Where is the terraria short swords?
Funnygames
In the underworld
they have pretty good DPS (Platinum Shortsword is actually higher DPS than a Mythril Sword) and are very cheap to craft, I wouldn't call them anything close to useless though I don't think they're great either
I actually really like spring mario and thought it was intresting and fun to play with
No your opinion is wrong you have offended reality get off of my internet
Have you gone back to Galaxy 1 and used it? I feel your opinion would change. I personally found its controls abysma in 2007, and abysmal in 2017 in part due to the level design and motion control
I mean, I liked how infuriating and challenging it was, it was fun though unlike boo Mario in galaxy.

Oh my god, I fucking love The Bane. It is definitely one of my favorites.
First?
Edit: YAY, First! Also Been waiting for a list like this for a while
Edit 2: Great List, Can't wait for next week's!
before I watch, I have a feeling that spring mario will be here...
my least favorite part about spring mario is that it's not even neccessary. With a backflip and a spin, you can basically get to anywhere you'd need to reach with spring mario.
Wait, people actually defended spring mario? That powerup still gives me nightmares.
TheSuperthingymabob Mostly because we actually know how to control it.
Hoo boie that 1# invoked memories of one of SGB's more recent playthroughs.
Got stuck with the bloody thing for the whole first run.
Can I just say that I think you have an excellent taste in music.
For some reason this reminds me of some of the achievements in Star Ocean: Til The End Of Time, there were a lot of cool weapons but if you wanted to get the in game achievements you had to beat most of the bosses using the metal pipe you get at the beginning of the game.
A glass of liquified hamster would pretty much be an ungodly mess of blood, scraps of bone and organs, and fur.
What about the straight sword hilt from Dark Souls?
The weapon description literally reads:
"The hilt of this lost sword was found discarded in the Undead Asylum.
For some reason when I heard the song after the intro I was thinking
COOOOOOFFEE
SOOOOOOODA
TOOOOOFFFFEEEEE
PAAAAAAAASTAAAAAA
GIIIIIVE MEEEEEE
SOOOOOMETHIIIIING
5:46 It says... things that I thought those screams was a screaming youtuber and not the sound of the weapon.
oh and just for public knowledge borderlands held the world record for most number of guns in a game
There's a little known trick with the the Giant's Knife. If you use only spin attacks, it will never break.
I just want to say, I love your Professor Layton and the Unwound Future poster!
Having now played Borderlands 2, I can safely say that that screaming gun was actually hilarious to me.
I still keep it on me just for a laugh.
I feel the same about the Morningstar. :)
Don't worry Rabbid, I fell for that Biggoron's Sword rip-off too

Top Five Ideas for Countdowns.
It would be so meta
curse eye with lillith is pretty good, she doesnt have the negative effect since she cant shoot tears and the incubus automatically releases a full shot with the cursed eye, if your at max tear rate you essentially cuadruple your dps
I want a game where you save the world with tweezers.
