🤩 Oh yes Matt! A feast of riffs! A feast of rarities! A selection of Lost Dogs! Absolutely superb stuff! Thank you! You’ve answered a few questions I’ve had on a few of these - can’t wait to play them!
Thanks Tasos! Yea it's insane how much material they've created over the years, I mean Lost Dogs is a prime example! Yield's coming soon i promise haha
Thank you let’s play all for teaching me how to songs by my favorite bands. I love your style and guitars. Because of you, You’ve inspired me to make guitar videos. Thank you🙏
In Yellow Ledbetter, the outro part B/D# E B, B/D# E A that goes 4 times, if you go to A at the end as a power chord (x0220x) on the 2nd fret you can slowly sliiiiide into the outro solo improv. As for Chinese - now that's a Chimera! What I hear is it starts off with Jeremy, without the bass riff, then it goes to Black chorus with an interesting ending, then there's a bridge that I don't get - with zing zang zung vocals:) giving ideas to Frozen 2 LMAO!, and back to Black with solo, guitar merging with vocals like an awesome falsetto. And the end is sort of saying "we don't want to finish the jam but we really have to go now:)" One of the things that amaze me in their first phase - the nineties:), is how often they connect vocals and guitar, where you can't discern which is which. Like in Breathe riff. I have to criticize Footsteps chorus rhythm. It should go: Tap(C) tap(Cadd9) tap(Dadd9) taaaap(D), taap(C) tp(Cadd9) tp(Dadd9) taaaap(D), tap(C) tap(Cadd9) tap(Dadd9) taaaap(D) ------>Em Otherwise, great work! And for my next challenge - Dirty Frank:). Classic PJ 5-7 fret riffs, or 6-8 in this case:)
@@LetsPlayAll yep another gem from Stone. They opened with it at the show I saw in Rochester in 94, it was amazing, the amount of grown men in full blown tears to black, and Eddie noticing and saying that he didn't mean to bring us down looks to his left and asks Stone if he has anything to make us happy and he breaks in Alive, the place went nuts, I'll never forget it.
Yeah. I was blessed going to Lollapalooza 18 in Brasil, the first and only time i have seen them live. They played Wash, Breath (someone in the crowd requested) and Hold on. It was like dreaming awaken!
Thanks Sebastian! Funnily enough i already have that one on my list so will get to it eventually, got a load of Patreon requests to get through first :-)
Awesome man, but I thought Hold On was in "DADGAD" tuning. This enables you to do the pull-offs for the E A D strings "3 open" respectively. (i.e. Bon Jovi Youngs guns bit) and makes the main Riff sound more full too (i.e. GAD part of the tuning)
Good question! Faves at the moment are Footsteps, Alone, SOLAT, especially to play live. Hardest has to be Ledbetter just to get Mike's hendrixy parts sounding fluid
Ahora en español jajaja Podrías hacer un vídeo explicando cómo tocar acoustic demo #1 no se cuales son los acordes ni la afinación, es una hermosa canción con la voz de eddie Saludos desde argentina
Haha, well I started the channel dedicated to PJ as i play in a tribute band in the UK called Pearl Jamm, and we're really particular about getting everything to sound just like Pearl Jam play them (either on the records or live) and it's gone from there! Lots more non-PJ stuff on here though and more coming soon :-)
You know the album's good when Wash, Yellow Ledbetter, State of Love and Trust and Breath are it's outtakes.
Haha yes indeed, an embarrassment of riches!
Breath really does have one of the most beautiful sounding intros.
weebogeeta mmh yes indeed very cool riff 🤘😊
This is the best “name that Pearl Jam tune” ever!!
haha yep! some deep cuts in there :-)
Acoustic 1 is such a cool acoustic riff
Agreed, lovely tune
I thought these were going to be your outtakes/bloopers recording the video at first. Thought it would make me feel better about my playing. :)
Hahaha, don't worry there were plenty of those, complete with swear words :-)
Wow. You did a great job. It's great how accurate even the less known songs sound here.
Skywipe thanks very much, appreciate the kind words 😊🤘
i can tell you had a lot of fun making this video:) would love to see you do the same for other pj albums!
Thanks man yea these are great fun! Expect more for sure 🤘😀

My pleasure Jon mate! Glad you enjoyed it, i'll sort some lessons out for these in due course too but this should help get you started!

Great job, once again.
Thanks again! :-)
Amazing Job! Thank you !
You're welcome Luis!
Well done mate 👍🏻👍🏻 Great video
Thanks Michael!
Awesome one once again Matt!
I like how they could have made one more album with all these outakes, right from the begging :D
Is Yield next!!?:))
Thanks Tasos! Yea it's insane how much material they've created over the years, I mean Lost Dogs is a prime example! Yield's coming soon i promise haha
Wow... You deserve 1,000 likes!! Amazing!
Haha thanks Marcio!
My Mind is blown!
FACTION95 haha cheers mate 😀

Hey Jake, that's awesome man, thanks so much for the kind words and good luck with the videos!
Thank you!
Really , really well played on Dirty Frank and breath Matt. Love this series.
Ah thanks Brian, really appreciate it mate and thanks for all the support! These are lots of fun to do so more coming :-)
Dirty Frank is an amazing song. Saw it live 3 times at the Eddie Vedder and the Earthling shows.
Such a great line up!
Me impressiono com o seu talento !!! Manda mto bem 👏👏👏👏
muito obrigado!

No worries dude, tbh for Footsteps i can't help play the chorus like that, get's me every time, i love it! Have fun with Dirty Frank :-)
Is was thinking about wash, when I saw the title-it was on the UK release-lucky.
It's a really hypnotic one, love Wash

They could have done another great album just with the outakes. I love Breath, Hold On, Wash, Alone; these songs deserve more attention.
Gabriel Ximenes great tunes always a treat if they play them live!

Rad!!
Hey awesome videos mate! Love your channel.
It would be great if you could do a lesson for the solo of the "Live on Two Legs" version of Black.
Thanks Sebastian! Funnily enough i already have that one on my list so will get to it eventually, got a load of Patreon requests to get through first :-)

Neil Churchill I just worked this out from Stone playing it live so it may well be in a different tuning on the studio version 🤘
Which are your favourite to play and which are the hardest?
Good question! Faves at the moment are Footsteps, Alone, SOLAT, especially to play live. Hardest has to be Ledbetter just to get Mike's hendrixy parts sounding fluid
👌🏿👌🏿
Do Angel and Sonic Reducer next!
Need to do one for covers and another for Xmas singles i guess :-)
what about the song "dirty frank" ? i think that was a song Pearl Jam released on the UK/German version of their album 'Ten'
It’s pretty rad, lesson coming for that soon 🤘😊
Pls make a video play acoustic demo #1 :(
Will do them all eventually mate 😊🤘
Ahora en español jajaja

I think i have a Patreon request for acoustic demo # 1 - stay tuned :-)
All those songs were recorded by Dave Krusen, right?
Not sure tbh mate any from the ten sessions would have been
In the european version wash isn't a outtake
Binaural Outtakes?
Anything in Between
CHINESE!!!!!!!!!
Ahh yea! :-)
First here..
Boom nice one Enrico! :-)
Why all of your Lesson is Pearl Jam? lol

@@LetsPlayAll Who is PJ?
@@arroncajigas4260 Pearl Jam.... :-)
@@LetsPlayAll Sorry im not a Fanatic fan of Pearl Jam
Arron Cajigas no probs! I’ll be covering lots of other similarly awesome bands too 🤘😀
