I found you through Garden Answer when Laura did some videos that included segments with you in them. I love everything about your gardening lifestyle videos. I am in your age bracket and I am looking to find ways to have an attractive garden while paring down the workload. I think I am learning the value of flowering shrubs and green shrubs to anchor my space. I am still working on finding perennials and annuals to fill in the blanks. I need to learn restraint and plant what likes to grow in my soil and limit myself to a few types of plants in a cohesive color scheme. A work in progress, for sure. Thank you for your guidance.
I found you because UA-cam obviously thinks we got something in common..... I stayed because something about you is just captivating, it's your use of words your descriptions of things. Your romancing of the ordinary is something special ✊🏿 I have come to realize in life that we have more in common than things we don't. I may not have nandina and a potager off the kitchen lol.... But I take pride in my space just like you do, and I'm a sucker for a bag of pea gravel from Lowe's 💯
Linda: you are an original with an enormous amount of charisma! Your creative technique in decorating your home is true to you, your husband and the history of your families ~ it’s so fun to watch everything you do because it is authentic and unpretentious ~ you are the best!
I totally agree! And I like that you “love what you love” and keep it! Individuals that are constantly changing their home decor based on the “trend” of the moment do not inspire me. This home is lived in and enjoyed each day and it clearly shows- as you guide us along. Thank you!
I like the fact that this interior is exactly what I would expect to see when looking at the exterior. It's so homey and cozy and no detail spared. Excellent!
Thank you for the tour and we do not mind if something is repeated. I learn more the second time around. And, I love your house. Such light and warmth.
I am not a gardener by any means and my mother always told me, "I hope your better with patients than plants". I retired 2 years ago after 44 years as an ICU nurse. I have a black thumb. I came across your channel rather randomly and your voice, presentation, and obvious love of gardening plus your personal style keeps me coming back. Your home is just so warm, inviting and not overly styled or pretentious. I can see that it's well lived in and your not particularly precious with the contents of your home. Also, you love jewelry as much as I do. Your partner in crime, aka Stuart is wonderful too!
Hi Linda, I would like to see you interview Stewart since we don’t get to see him. I love your garden tours and I have learned a lot from you! Your home is beautiful!💕👍
I'm new...I'm 50 and I dont have much of a green thumb. I love your "other" content. I just think your very classy and wise. Enjoying your videos about real life. Refreshing that your not over the top and are so relatable.
You Tube "recommended" your channel to me last year while I was watching Garden Answer. I clicked on the channel and was immediately enchanted by you, your garden and home. I concur with your followers in that I do not tire of any of your home or garden tours. Your home and gardens are so inviting and I think anyone visiting would immediately feel comfortable and welcome. Thank you and Stewart so much for sharing your Garden Inspired Life. 😊
I was drawn to your UA-cam by watching the Christmas kitchen tour. I love the fact that your home is old and colorful!! I get so tired of seeing homes that are all white, gray, and black...so cold!! Recently my favorite videos you did were the mood boosters and the products you recommended!! Keep up the good job
So much of what passes for interior design today is derivative. People think they are so clever to use the same white subway tile as everyone else. And everyone's "style" has to have "farmhouse" somewhere in the word salad. People say they love Craftsman style or Mid-Century Modern, and have no clue what those styles even are! What I love about Linda's home is that it's infused with personality and charm, all while respecting the historic nature of the Tudor architecture! Isn't it interesting how there are people who jumped on the "open concept" bandwagon who now wish they had some private areas in the home that can be closed off with doors, for working or schooling at home?
Hi Linda! No need to apologize for having a beautiful older home!!! I love, love, love older homes and also decorate my home in a very traditional style. welcoming
Thank you Linda for sharing your home with us. I’m a long time subscriber but I enjoyed seeing your home again. I love the fact that you have not painted your woodwork and I love that warm Ralph Lauren look also. What I liked most was the story of the artwork above fireplace. That was so special yet difficult for you to share. Life is hard, but so good and we are all so blessed. I love how you find the good even in tragedy. No matter if it is a fire or an ice storm, thank you for sharing life with us. Just like the Lord, He brings Beauty from ashes, purifies after storms and turns graves into Gardens. You are loved by God and by your UA-cam family.
I am one month new to your channel. Hello from Southern California. I discovered your channel by a miracle. I am glad and loving it. Starting over again gardening. I gave up about 7 years ago. When I found your channel I got INSPIRED and I am feeling POSITIVE 😀
I found you when I hurt my leg and wasn’t able to work in my garden. The only thing I could think of to keep me still was to look for garden tours. I was amazed and thrill at how many there is. So grateful! Ran across you and I’m hooked. Even though I don’t live in your zone. I love how real you are 😊 you’re in your sock feet🥂you bring me joy and education . I grew up on Martha Stewart and am so thankful for her. You and Stewart are so funny. I love classy positive way. Thanks for your devotion. You’re really making a difference. Thanks 😊
I watched this for the second time this morning instead of my meditation. Worked out well for me as I ordered your book on your stand. Love your style and your home is lovely and a true reflection of you and your family. I like how you have transitioned this winter into other things while we wait for spring. I'm a new gardener as of last year and have become quite passionate about it. Thank you!! Love all your videos - & the fashion of the day.
I love your videos. Quite a while ago I was watching Garden Answers and your videos popped up at the side. I am 63 and live in the UK, In the nice weather I do as much as I can in my garden, I have a bad back and a hernia which stops me being in the cold weather. Its just knowing when to do what in the garden, I am a single Mum, I do have a gardener who deals with my front and side lawns but thats all. I love your home thankyou for the tour xx
I think I found you through Garden Answers YT channel. The home tour was enjoyable, not only because it is fun to see how other gardeners bring garden elements into their homes, but also because I am an interior designer and can’t help myself-always putting the puzzle pieces together to figure out how a home is laid out. All the modifications you have made are so beautifully and sympathetically done with the homes’ architecture in mind, while still making the home work for you. We’ll done! As far as future content recommendations, I would eagerly listen to you read your grocery shopping list-every video has inspiring nuggets.😄
I love your house Linda! It is a house that has a beating heart!! The memories, family pieces, meaningful artwork and furniture, your beautiful upgrades that work for you and still speak to the tradition of the house…. Your plants, arrangements and books, where do I stop, just gorgeous!! 💕💕 Thank you for sharing!
I am not a new subscriber. Been with you for awhile. But I have to say Linda I’m absolutely loving the content of decor and wellbeing vlogs. Your chanel has exactly what I’m looking for. So grateful you make 4 vlogs a week. Honestly I don’t know how you do that but thank you and to Stewart too. Just loving the content.
Fairly new subscriber here, I found your work via Southern Living. Your warmth, grace and style resonates with me and I just felt like I had to know more. You (and of course, Stewart!) have a gift for making us feel right at home like we're visiting neighbors. I'm in my 20s, first time homeowner and I'm only now beginning my gardening journey. I was limited with what I could do while renting. It's a way to keep my late grandmother close who was an avid gardener and developed Alzheimer's before she could teach me what she knew. I have fond memories of "helping" her that I hope to pass onto my young son. Thank you for making these videos!
Congrats on the new subscribers. I’m here because I appreciate the fact that we are close in age. You have more to offer than simply reeling off the latest trends. Your tips make a lot of sense, and there are many experiences to back them up. You put effort into this channel, and it shows.
I love your home!!! Not old fashion at all!!! Very classy and cozy! Beautiful Linda!! Just a beautiful job decorating your lovely home!! I love the older homes they have such much character. Take care, 🌸🌷🌻🌼💝🙏
old time faithful subscriber here. I could walk through your home any day.. any season , and I feel so connected to you. I love everything about your style and aesthetic. It has that curated over a lifetime feel , which to me means home. I would walk through your home in my mind .... the only thing I didn't picture was that little guest bath. Now , we need the upstairs tour. Please, please ,please. I have only been in your library bedroom and office area . Would love to see the layout and style of the rest.
Thanks for sharing your home I really enjoy it. I can understand about you losing your Brother in a fire . I lost a brother in a fire over 30 years ago. Thanks again for all you share. Have a wonderful day.
I can’t remember how I found you but I stayed for your personality. Been watching a long time. Always calms me down when I am feeling a little anxious.
Hello Linda! You are such a graceful and accomplished lady with knowledge in so many areas! I strive to watch and learn with your wonderful videos! Thank you for sharing!
I recently discovered you by accident and then a California friend recommended your videos. I moved from California Sierras to South Central Kansas last summer. I'm currently establishing my garden and can use all the help I can get. This weather (wind) is a challenge, so I'm learning to garden all over again. I recently retired from owning a tea and wellness center, so I have a lot more time on my hands to play in the dirt! Love your videos!!
I love your home tours!! I love when people enjoy all of their possessions be it new, old, family items and thrifted items. It makes for such a meaningfull, beautiful home. This is what I love about my home also!! I love the mix of it all!! I love all of your variety videos on so many subjects and, of course, all of your tips.
You’re right, Linda has a beautiful home. I admire her she’s certainly good at what she does. I would be remiss if I didn’t say that she’s so beautiful, she’s one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen…
Love your home! I've always been drawn to homes built during the thirties as they remind me of ones in neighborhoods of Dallas, TX where I lived as a little girl in the early sixties. There is so much beautiful detail in older homes that make them so appealing. Thanks for the tour!!
1st time here! Retired widow ready to sell Victorian Cottage in Historic Village in Northern IL. I am an artist and ready to paint many of my older side tables and chests. Love bookcases & old books. Replanted my small charming yard with a little screened cottage in back. Wonderful background stories of your life journey. Love that green color on the wicker pieces.
Hi Linda! Thanks for the tour of your lovely home. I’m a 63 year old Veterinary Assistant who loves gardening, thrifting and home tours. I get inspiration from UA-cam videos for house and garden decor and for the succulent planters that I gift and sell. 🥰
Enjoyed this video very much. It was nice to see how the rooms are oriented with each other. I love how your home is real! It is very cozy and looks lived in! Most homes you see are so very staged looking and colorless. I do love neutrals, but am leaning more towards putting color back in my decor . As a gardener, how can we not love color ? Have enjoyed these inside videos very much. I think I subscribed to your channel about a year ago. You have inspired me in so many ways. Just very recently, I experienced a disaster in my brand new greenhouse. With that cold snap over much of the country last week, my area of Texas got down to zero and probably even in the negatives with the wind chill. My heating unit malfunctioned and I walked in to see my once beautifully potted plants, frozen. After the tears, I remembered how graciously you accepted the ice storm you experienced. I spent all day yesterday in my greenhouse trimming back the frozen foliage, watering my pots and praying they will recover. We figured out what happened to our heater and I ordered a portable greenhouse heater to use in conjunction with our already existing heater during extreme winter weather . Gardening is challenging but I’m thankful to have people like you that inspire and encourage when things go wrong .
What a lovely comment. I’m so so sorry about your greenhouse, but as a dedicated Gardner I have no doubt he will bring it back to its former glory in no time at all
Wow how sad what part of Tx are you? My son moved from SoCal to Woodway Tx and his first time experiencing the snow and driving in it. I pray too your plants are ok. Isn’t Linda the Best!
I never tire of viewing your home. It is so lovely. I love hearing about it and your interesting stories about this or that. I am not sure how I found your channel, but I am so happy that I did!
Your home tours are fun and full of so many wonderful ideas! I found you while watching Laura at Garden Answers and she recommended you! Your style of gardening is perfect to me and I love the tips too! Thank you Linda and Stewart!
Hace muchos años compraba la revista HOME PLANS ....cuando ví tu casa dije una casa TUDOR!!! aunque por dentro es muy confortable y moderna....realmente luce ENCANTADORA!!
I am a subscriber from the West Indies and I just love your channel. We are in different planting zones, obviously, but I take what I can from your gardening videos. I love your house tours too and I'd love to see Stuart's face. Much love.
I live in an apartment and have a balcony “garden” of potted plants. UA-cam suggested your channel once, and I loved your garden and what I saw. And even though I don’t have the space to be a proper gardener, your garden is what I would love to have if I had a house with land all around it! Love you, your personality, your style, how you decorate your home, Stuart, and just how inspiring your channel is!
I finally got to sit down & watch this video. Let me say first Linda that your home is beautiful, so warm & cozy. I love, love all your built-ins! I'd also like to say how terribly sorry I am about the loss of your brother. I too lost a brother but at a very young age due to an accident where he drowned. It was 4 years after I lost my mother...difficult times but I sense you have been through some yourself. Again, your home is beautiful...thank you for sharing it with us. ❤
Don't apologize for the redundancy of your home tour. I never tire of seeing your home. There could be something I missed or enjoy seeing over and over. I never tire.
I’ve been watching since spring 2020 and look forward to each and every one of your videos. I believe I found your channel through Laura from GA. I recall her mentioning that you were one of her favourite gardeners. I’m most interested in all things gardening, home decor, antique/vintage/thrifted items and well-being. Your home is beautiful. It has a warm and inviting feeling. I love that you fill your home with items that are collected over time, that tell a story about the things you love and your family. Thank you for sharing your home and stories with us! 💚🙏
I loved your statement “I’ll take clean windows & a load of manure any day over furs & diamonds.” I’ve been a viewer for several years & this is the first I’ve seen this type of tour. How you told the story of the painting over the mantle without tearing up or crying, I’ll never know. I love the cross stitch by your sister. It’s 54 degrees & sunshine here in zone 9b (near New Orleans) & I can’t wait to get my 1st load of compost & mulch. Should start warming up in a few weeks. Hugs & prayers to you & those close to you.
Aww Linda I love your house and how you decorate its fabulous it never gets boring. Along with your cute clothes you find at the Good Will. I’m with you the simple things in life like cleaned windows and manure then furs/diamonds love that. Thanks for sharing your decor with us. ❤️
Your heartfelt story about the fire and your hubs was so endearing and a little peek into that heart of yours! Been a long-time fan, but always enjoy your tours. Thanks for sharing!!
I have been following for a few months now. Love your channel. I too love gardening both plants/flowers as well as vegetables. I moved to a home with a much smaller yard next to a woods. I love it but it needs a lot of TLC. I am planning to replace the old picket fence along the back of the property and am just looking forward to "playing " in yard this summer. It's just that 'work' gets in the way. So it's mostly a weekend project. Love your home. Thank you for sharing!
I like your art, including the old maps. Made me nostalgic , the Africa map. I was born in Cape Town, maybe you have visited my beautiful city of birth. I luv books too . A very beautiful home .😍😍
Thank you for sharing the touching story about the fire that brought you and now-"hubs" closer together. Those defining moments in life are almost beyond understanding, but don't we know "what others intend for evil, God turned into something beautiful." Love your channel since joining it two years ago. I am a gardener in north Iowa. 😊
I loved seeing your downstairs home tour! I have followed you on IG for a few years but only started watching the UA-cam videos a few months ago. We always loved older period homes since we collect antiques, yours is lovely!
Thank you for sharing your lovely home. I’ve been a subscriber for awhile, but I never tire of your interior videos. The story of the restored painting I do remember, however sharing about your brother was an added, very touching and sad element. So sorry to hear of this past event. Now, I’m a spoiled subscriber and so wanted a closer look at the cabinet area near your stairway!! Maybe someday! Thank you again.
Thank you for sharing! You have a beautiful home. I love that you can tell how well traveled you are and your appreciation for history and quality just through your art and decorating.
I found your You Tube when searching for zone 7a gardeners like myself and have been following along for years. I love your classic traditional style with the added bonus of cozy. Another commonality we both have. Thank you for another enjoyable home tour.
Hi, I'm an established subscriber. I've been watching for about a year. I think Laura from GA mentioned you last year after the ice storm. I'm glad you are getting back to normal. I like gardening mostly, but the house tours and things are fun too. Thank you for sharing!
Love the tours and your stories!!! Anytime anyone asks for inspiration , I send them your way or add a link ! Your sophisticated style with a mix of timeless elegant charm is the perfect foundation for any garden/home life . Truly a "Martha Stewart" for this generation without all the pretentious over tones 💙🏺📚☕🕯️🗝️🛋️🌿🕰️
Just found you, watching decorating and garden shows on you tube and I'm so glad I did ,I also love your fashion I have watched you for 2 days ,Love your suggestions and style
I luv your home tour as well as the others I've seen on your channel. I originally started following you a couple of years ago on instagram. Your videos have been so inspiring especially during covid when we were not able to get out and visit much. A couple of years back I downsized to a condo so I only do patio gardening now but your container gardening has offered me a lot of inspiration well. I welcome more garden and house tours.
Oh my goodness Linda, I have had lovely, white linen slip covered sofa’s for 15 years. And I can absolutely say, I love your “ahhh, not so much” assessment of their maintenance! Of course after all these years, I need to replace my slip covers but at the same time, I’m hesitant to invest in the same headache!!! Thank you for your candor… I love your channel, I just discovered it a few weeks ago…you make me want to be a gardener for the first time in my life! Thank you for sharing your dedication and vision with us all!
I found you during Covid shut down- I really enjoy watching as you are about my age and give me hints to gardening at my age- I moved to a one story house with a one time beautiful garden and your hints help me continue its journey back to life- within my age limits! Got the house remolded and garden under way!!
A tour of your home with beautiful accessories and inspiration never gets old.... I just sat back and took 5 sips in 1 (water) - that tip has really resonated with me. Thank you both, Linda and Stewart.
attitude made me feel like I had gone home. I have lived in many states and abroad and have found wonderful people everywhere I have lived but I am still drawn to my home state and that part of the US. I love your content. Thank you for showing us your home. I am not a great gardener but do love to look and dream.
The historic home tours are of great interest to me, particularly when the original house structures are maintained and furnishings are period or reproduced.
I love gardening, my happy place & also you have very interesting content in all your videos that somehow fits in & covers all the things that I find just as interesting. Thank you so much for sharing this all with us.
Linda your home is so beautiful. Truly you could show these home tours every week and I would never get tired of seeing it. Love your kind spirit and your personality
Hi Linda, you have a beautiful home. I live in England and descovered yours and Stuart's channel last year. I began watching your channel, for your, wonderful gardening tips. I adore all, of your content in your video's. I really enjoy, listening to all of your advice, about life skills, gardening, ageing and welcoming us into your beautiful home, for a tour. Thank you for all you do xx
Beautifully sparking windows! 😍 Love watching and hearing your personal stories on your journeys in life. I love my books too. I think they are a wonderful decor item also. I’m going to put out some of my favorites on my coffee table this week! Great idea to revisit a favorite friend with a cup of tea 🫖 .
That view of your living room at five minutes is just gorgeous. The way that the light is shining in through the window is lovely. And I Love the soft color palette you have going on.
That was a pleasure touring you home and hearing your history. Please tour upstairs next. Your always a joy to watch. Love your vocabulary. You may need to give us a lesson in what some of your words mean. Love to you and Stewart.
Omg, your video was the greatest tour of your home. Your way of decorating is awesome. Such great ideas you have. Love 💕 everything about your home. I was surprised with the amount of snow.
I found your channel about 3 years ago after it was recommended by Garden Answer. I’m not young but I’m just starting out with gardening. I’m a bit of a crazy plant lady who does ultrasound as a career. And I love traveling around with my amazing dog Peaches. And I love getting to know people on UA-cam from all around the world. It absolutely fascinates me.
I love your home tours, so very much. I could listen to your stories all day. It’s so easy to get swept up into the UA-cam hogwash, that says to follow every trend. I find myself drawn to homes like yours more and more. Your home is a beautiful expression of the your family and you. So beautiful. Thank you for sharing. 💛
I just found your channel and I just simply adore your taste! I also own an English Tudor in Pennsylvania, in a quaint little town called Merion Station, and I’m looking forward to watch your postings all over again to steal your great decor ideas, your taste is cozy, and inviting 💕🙏thanks for allowing us into your lovely home!
I love when you show the home tours! You can show us every nook and cranny! 😊 Thank you Linda! How about a Q&A with Stewart! We never see him!

Totally agree
@@myurbanoasisphilly your comment is so beautiful! I think everyone here enjoys beautiful things.
OK, this lovely comment made me sub to your channel!
Hearing about your husband's and your history together is heartwarming. Thank you for sharing.
Sweet, sweet story about your husband’s recovery from the fire. You are so dear to be so transparent and let us understand you better. ❤️
We love your home tours! It’s difficult to find UA-camrs who still do classic traditional decorating. Your modern touches are inspiring! Thank you!
yes, classic traditional. Love it. Feels like Home to me. Along with her over 120,000 subscribers.
Linda: you are an original with an enormous amount of charisma! Your creative technique in decorating your home is true to you, your husband and the history of your families ~ it’s so fun to watch everything you do because it is authentic and unpretentious ~ you are the best!

Wow what a difference a year makes…..on to a new horizon now. New home & gardens for 2023!

Love the color treatment of your kitchen cabinets - subdued reds and greens are my favorite color combination.
Thank you sweetie
All righty then!
Linda, it is a pleasure to watch your channel - I am a teacher and I find you very knowledgeable and upbeat. Deborah
Thanks for sharing your home I really enjoy it. I can understand about you losing your Brother in a fire . I lost a brother in a fire over 30 years ago. Thanks again for all you share. Have a wonderful day.
I’m so so sorry
Your home is absolutely beautiful! I love the history, craftsmanship, warmth, colors & all your special design touches!
Thank you for being so real and sharing some of your most vulnerable memories. Love your channel
@@KitKat24531 I agree. She is a pretty soul!
Love your home! I've always been drawn to homes built during the thirties as they remind me of ones in neighborhoods of Dallas, TX where I lived as a little girl in the early sixties. There is so much beautiful detail in older homes that make them so appealing. Thanks for the tour!!
Ive watched this video at least a dozen times. I go to it when I feel a some inspiration
Welcome!
Man I just love and adore you because someone else used items is another person new find, continue being classy lady 👏
You are so blessed with such a beautiful home. Thank-you for allowing your viewers to tour through it and enjoy your treasured memories.
A new video! Thank you. I luckily found you last year. So glad I did dear. Hi Stewart. Your home is colorful comfy cozy.
Linda I adore the new dining room paint color! Your red pieces look so elegant against the sage backdrop! ❤️❤️❤️
🙏🙏
Love that color in the dining room. It really makes the red pop. Thank you for sharing your home.
Your home is lovely and cozy, I really like it Linda. I love traditional decor it is always in fashion.
I found your channel through Laura at Garden Answers. I appreciate your vlogs about everything and anything. Thank you.
Just lovely! With all of the minimalistic interiors now, what a refreshing display of warmth and classic taste. Your tour was inspiring!
Hello Linda! I enjoyed your shopping tips and touring your lovely home. Everything is so well thought out! So cozy!
I love how you share your home and gardens with us Linda. Thank you so much❣️

I love the flower and fruit painting in your dining room
What a Gorgeous home and LOVE the fact you kept all the trim original! Classiest home I’ve seen in years!
You do such a lovely job decorating!
I’ll pay you later dear!
Plus, M. Stewart gives outdated gardening advice these days if I watch one of her shows. Linda keeps up on horticulture over all.
Hi Linda, I'm a subscriber from Scotland, fairly new to properly bardening. gardening. I love your home and garden.
attitude made me feel like I had gone home.
Stunning house. Real character. I’ll be moving to a 1910 house later this year so found your tour inspiring.
Beautifully sparking windows! 😍
Love watching and hearing your personal stories on your journeys in life.
Linda, I absolutely love everything about your home and taste for decorating.👌👏
I just found your channel and I just simply adore your taste! I also own an English Tudor in Pennsylvania, in a quaint little town called Merion Station, and I’m looking forward to watch your postings all over again to steal your great decor ideas, your taste is cozy, and inviting 💕🙏thanks for allowing us into your lovely home!
